              aisha is a quiet soul. she much prefers to keep to herself. she has had people pity her or want to help her so that it will pan them as the good guy. she is tired of pity and doesn't want it. she's hesitant of talking to others or trying to get help. it sucks because some times she'll need help with things that her service dog can't exactly help her with. like what color she's wearing or what shirt she wants to wear. she's hesitant and cautious, treading lightly when it comes to other people. she doesn't exactly like to talk about her past or how she lost her vision. she can't see their face but she knows they feel bad and pity her. she can just feel it and she hates it with all of her being. she knows that they can't help it but still it pains her. if they feel bad, only imagine how she feels knowing that she lived through that? she's calm and talks smoothly. she wants to get through the conversation as quickly as possible. she doesn't like to admit that she needs or wants help. if she doesn't have to ask someone, she won't. a good majority of things her service dog, cookie can help her with but still there are things that require human help. it's clear how stubborn she can be. she can be a bit snarky and sarcastic. she is often making jokes about being blind. she can tell that it sometimes makes people uncomfortable but she doesn't really care. humor is how she deals with trauma.

              it all started generations back. the montgomery was a proud, rich, and powerful pure blood vampire family. they had everything they wanted. it all came crashing down when their youngest daughter 'fell in love' with a simple human boy. they thought nothing of it at first, thinking that she would grow out of it. that was until they had a half-blooded child on their hands. all of the montgomerys before them had been pure blooded now they had this impure child on their hands. they shunned the child and kept far away from it. things from there only got worst. misfortune began to follow the whole family as the child grew and continued to thrive. deaths, fire, limbs being cut off. a lot of misfortune. they finally came to the conclusion that their ancestors must be punishing them for ruining their bloodline. as the generations passed, everytime a red-haired half blooded child was born in the montegomerys misfortune followed. the montegomerys took it upon theirselves to get rid of the child before anything worse could happen. knowing what would happen to aisha, her parents quickly took her and ran away. exactly as before, misfortune continued to befall her parents. her brother getting seriously hurt, her father losing his job, her mother falling ill, and the list goes on. still, they loved aisha all the same. that's when the tragedy hit. a horrible fire destroyed their house, killing everyone but aisha. it's unclear if the fire started because of the misfortune curse or if the other montgomerys finally found them. aisha got seriously hurt trying to escape, leaving her practically blind. over the years, it's improved slightly but for the rest of her life she'll only be able to see some shapes and light. shortly after the incident, a family friend took her in and she eventually got a service dog who she named cookie.
