"Elisabeth? Elisabeth?" I started to come to after zoning out, only to fined Percy waving his hand in my face!
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!" I screamed, stewing in my head.
" you're needed down stairs, you mom has something to give you before we leave." He said, looking annoyed at your attitude, well it's not like I wanted any of this to happen! Serves him right! I simply groaned and rolled my eyes before pushing past him.
"MUM!" I called, audibly annoyed.
"In the kitchen." She answered. I tromped down the stairs and through the hallway before finding myself in a large, sunny kitchen, rather stereotypical if I'm to be honest, yanno, checkered curtains, decorative flowers, the whole shebang. "Elisabeth, you'll need this for protection" she handed me a necklace, well, more accurately a pendant, of the front of a simple, silver Pegasus.
I snickered quietly, "yeah right, how could a stupid necklace protect me? That's ridiculous."
"Take hold of the wings" she started, "and pull." I open my mouth to ask her why but she cuts me off "just do it!" She growls, clearly stressed. I tug on the wings lightly, before violently ripping them apart, as I did so they quickly reformed into little, daggers! (One is Celestial Bronze and the other is Stygian Iron) I raise my head, wide eyed, completely flabbergasted. "Line the hilts up Elisabeth" I quickly do as she asks, with both blades facing outward, and they meld back into the pendant. "Time to go!" Mum chirps, visibly relieved, "now get your friend. and go!"
"PERCY!! WE ARE LEAVING!" I call, trotting upstairs. As I enter my room Percy drops a book, wait, not just any book, my art book! I jump forward and snatch if off the ground. I glare menacingly at Percy, I mean, what the heck! Who snoops through someone's stuff! Snatching up my, packed, bag, I thump downstairs, ready to face the future.
