GAME 7

A few months later, it was game 7 of the Championship finals.

The Eastern and Western team was tied 3-3 in the Championship series, and this game was gonna be one of the most intense games ever.

By the second period, the Eastern team knew it just wasn't their game when the score was 3-1. Cosette and Noah had been getting pushy with each other, and their obviously was NO line chemistry between Cassie and Cosette anymore.

Currently, there was a minute left in the third period, and the game was tied somehow, 3-3.

Noah was closing in on the net, and he scored. Everyone knew that the Western team would be the Champs, but they have to let the game play out.

And by the final buzzer, the home crowd at Scotiabank Sattledome was screaming and cheering for their beloved home team.

Cosette sighed and skated to the boards near the bench, kneeling down and rubbing her face with her hands. She felt like she let her team down.

"Its okay cap, we'll get it next year." Emersen whispered to her, with a sad smile and Cosette nodded hesitantly.

Cosette slipped her gloves off and just kneeled on the ice, as her teammates gave her pats on the shoulder cause they knew she was heartbroken.

Cosette could faintly see a figure skating over to her without looking up, but she didn't bother looking up at who was skating over to her.

"Hey, don't cry." A voice whispered to her, and she could immediately tell it was Noah, just by the sound of his voice.

"You did absolutely amazing out there, Rentzy, you tried your best, and thats what matters. You made your team, your family, your fans, and me proud. You've been competing with me all season, and its been paying off cause you're seriously giving me a run for my money. Just please don't cry, its not worth crying for." Noah whispered to her as she looked up at him, trying to hold back her tears.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted my team to win, but you can't win every game." Cosette said, laughing slightly through her tears.

"There's the beautiful laugh I love to hear." Noah said to her with a slight smile.

"C'mon, get up." Noah said, as he extended a hand out to her and she took it, standing back up to her feet.

Noah smiled down at her and she smiled back up at him.

"Hey Cas, look, I think you owe me 20 bucks." Natasha smirked at Cassie and Cassie rolled her eyes.

"I owe you 20 bucks if they kiss, not if they look at each other, nitwit!" Cassie exclaimed, playfully rolling her eyes.

Noah had his helmet off, but he slowly lifted up her fishbowl, and she could feel the nervousness in her rising.

"This is what you've always wanted, Noah, your girl back." Noah thought to himself as his eyes kept glancing down at her lips.

Cosette felt slightly nervous and that everyone was watching them, which they were.

And before she knew it, his lips were on hers, she was in shock slightly before relaxing, his hands on her hips and her hands on both sides of his face.

A few of his teammates whistled teasingly and they both pulled away, looking severely flustered, Cosette's face more red than a Devil's home jersey.

"Damn girl." Noah mumbled and Cosette laughed, playfully hitting his shoulder.

"I was scared to tell you, but ever since I had my first faceoff against you, I was in love with you. I love everything about you. I love how fiesty you are, how you never back down from a fight, how you always stand up for your team, how you still have a smile on your face when you're losing, how you hype up your team, just everything." Noah smiled nervously at her, his face cherry red.

"Oh Noah, why didn't you just tell me? I wouldn't have been mad cause I love you too. I was just scared cause I never show emotion and stuff like that." Cosette laughed nervously.

"Hey, now next season will be slightly different between us." Noah laughed.

"Yeah, it definitely will be." Cosette nodded.

*time skip to around august*

"You're joking, right!?" Cosette asked, as she was on the phone with her coach.

"Last season, was a bust, so what!? We got the draft coming up next week!" Cosette exclaimed. (Don't come at me. I know the nhl draft is in June but this isn't the nhl)

"Yes, yes, yes, I know. I know, just don't screw up the draft picks." Cosette said and then hung up, rubbing her face with her hands.

"Everything all right?" Cassie asked Cosette as she walked through the aisles of seats where Cosette was sitting.

"Yeah, i just can't let coach screw us over again with draft picks." Cosette said, shaking her head.

"You'll be okay cap. No matter who you play with, you always make it work, that's why you are captain." Cassie smiled at her.

"Thanks Cas, that means a lot to me." Cosette smiled as she stood up, ruffling Cassie's hair and then walking back into the hallway of the Scotiabank Arena.

Cosette and Noah were officially a thing now. Yes, the great hockey couple was together now and frankly, the world of hockey couldn't believe it. Their would always be that little rivalry that no one, including them, would be able to get over, but it was shocking to know that they managed to make something work, despite their teams being rivals. Every game would be slightly tense between them but they couldn't let that stop them from having a relationship with each other. If it weren't for game 7 of the Championships, they might not have even been a couple right now, even if the Eastern team had won they probably wouldn't have been a couple. But it took one small confession, but nothing can ruin the hockey couple, right?

(Hey guys! I am so sorry this chapter was short but I was just dying to get a chapter out and for you guys to have something new to read!!!! Lemme know what you think in the comments!)
