DAY ONE
THIRD POV
"Ok, yup, I got that, thank you sir." Cosette said as she hung up the phone, a smile on her lips. She ran her hands over her face, she could hear footsteps approaching her.
"Finally called you back, hm?" The voice said, Cosette groaned and looked over to see none other than Noah Dalton, someone she really didn't like.
"Oh fuck you." Cosette said, rolling her eyes at him.
"You wish, sweetheart." Noah smirked at her, Cosette rolled her eyes again and shook her head.
"You are Western. I'm Eastern, we aren't talking!" Cosette exclaimed as she walked away from him, putting her hands up in defense.
Cosette shook her head and sighed, she walked into her coach's office, throwing down a file on his desk.
"What's this?" He asked as he picked up the file, opening it and his eyes scanning over her sloppy yet beautiful hand-writing.
"It's the schedule. I've already talked to their team captain. He seems like a total dick, but whatever." Cosette grumbled as she snatched the file from his hand and she slipped it back into her jacket.
"Just try and behave yourself, and watch your mouth, you don't have a good filter." He scolded her, his expression serious.
"I'll try, but we all know I don't care." Cosette said, shrugging her shoulders and raising her eyebrows.
She left his office and walked into their locker room, she saw Alexei sitting at his locker space, "Well, you'll be starting goalie as of further notice." Cosette said as she sat next to Cassie Carlo.
"That's great! Thank you so much, captain!" Alexei exclaimed, a smile on his face. Cosette nodded and then nodded at Cassie.
Cosette wasn't much of a talker. She preferred being left alone and she still talked to fans but wasn't about the hugs and handshakes. Unlike her rival team captain, Noan Dalton. In her opinion, he was a cocky, self-centered guy who thought he was the best hockey player in the world. She didn't like people like that, she was a humble, quiet but sometimes mouthy, player.
"Get changed, we're going to the gym, now the Western Team will be there. Just don't interact with them, its for the best." Cosette said, her serious tone not changing.
"Ok, captain." Cassie and Alexei said in unison, the other players in the room nodding in understandment. Cosette nodded, she grabbed her sports bra and leggings before walking to the gym.
"She was flirting with him!" A voice whisper-yelled. She recognized it as Lakyn Smith. Someone she absolutely hated with a passion.
Cosette didn't like many people, and she knew since she talked to Noah earlier, Lakyn would be upset, frustrated, or angry.
Cosette smirked and walked up to her, "And who was I flirting with?" Cosette asked her, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion, cocking her head at her.
"Um, uh, n-no one." Lakyn stuttered, everyone was slightly afraid of Cosette for multiple reasons.
"That's what I thought." Cosette huffed out. She groaned slightly when she saw Noah on the benchpress.
She shook heard head and walked over to the battle ropes. She put some chalk on her hands before clapping her hands together to make the extra chalk go away. She picked up the ends of the battle ropes and started to work out.
"Damn," Noah muttered as he watched Cosette with the battle ropes. It was obvious she worked out everyday, after about doing that for 15 minutes, she took a break. She walked over towards the weights, but she wasn't paying attention to the large weight in front of her. She tripped over it and unfortunately fell on top of Noah Dalton.
She looked up, slightly frozen at the feeling of his hand right about her ass. She tried to stand up but was frozen, she was completely frozen, The two of them started getting lost in each other's eyes. She shook her head and stood up, she flipped him the middle finger before walking away.
She had this strange feeling inside, she couldn't tell what it was. She just shrugged it off and walked over to Alexei, Cassie, and Emersen.
"Captain, are you alright?" Emersen asked her, noticing Cosette was a bit shaken up. Cosette nodded slowly, "Yes, I'm fine." Cosette said, she didn't sound fine but everyone knew better than to question her.
Tomorrow, was the first game of the season and everyone was nervous, anxious, excited, and happy. But can everyone keep their shit together for the first game of the season or will everything fall apart?
(A/N: Chapters in the future will be longer and next chapter all of the ocs will be mentioned! I can't wait for the next chapter! From, _that_hockey_girl_!)
