14 years ago...

7 year old Dream and Raven were running around the woods. They heard shouting in the direction of the village, turning back to see what all the commotion was about. Guards from the kingdom were at the town square telling a new law the King made. Dream despised the kingdom after his father called him the bastard child and was disowned from the royal family. Dream's father was the king's brother and Dream had a brother-the golden boy-no one has talked to Dream since the incident.

Guards were yelling , trying to calm the crowd of commoners. After quieting down the crowd, a strange man in black with chains around his waist and black hair stood up on a pedestal. "The King has decreed that all children from ages 10-14 shall attended private school where they will be taught to fight and become knights! People leaving tomorrow shall receive letters later tonight!" The man in black finished, there were yells of protest at the idea of children being pawns for the Kingdom.

Raven and Dream were worried for each other. Later that evening groups of children were rounded up, weeping parents filled the streets as children were removed from homes. Dream and Raven watched as the village fell apart at this new act, from this point Dream and Raven knew they needed to do something about it but, what could a pair of 7 year old's do against an army?

3 years later...

Dream and Raven packed up their supplies, it was time for them to go to school. Every year children came back traumatized, they spoke of nothing that happened at the school...only one person ever spoke about it, he died the next day. Rumors were spread that children became test subjects, people got killed everyday in there and no one would spoke of the evil on the other side. Dream and Raven made a promise to each other that no matter what, they would have each others back.

Guards came and grabbed the new group of children, parents stopped shedding tears for the kids. Everyone changed after that act was announced...parents couldn't look into the eyes of the young so, children grew up faster, became more independent. There was a transport waiting for them at the edge of town. Raven never looked back, Dream did...only for a second before realizing the reality-no one was there, everyone gave up on hope.

About a day's travel. That's how long it took for them to get to the school. Raven and Dream didn't speak to anyone and no one spoke to them. Arriving at the school people were sorted into groups. The 3 groups were Born, Living and Death. Dream and Raven were sorted into Born along with a bunch of other 10 year old's. A man in a white tux told the Born group to follow them, he lead them to a dorm. The man assigned a group of 4 to a room that they would share for the 5 years they would be here.

Dream and Raven shared a room with two other boys. "Hello I am Dream and this is Raven. Who are you?" "Jack and he's Kyle. I guess we are stuck together for the next 5 years.." "I guess so." That morning started a friendship like no other, the world would not be ready for what that group of 4 would bring. Later that day during lunch the 4 kids walked into the cafeteria, this is where they met the opposites or evils of the Dream SMP members.

Techno was more relaxed and hated fighting, Tubbo and Tommy's personality's are switched, Quackity is more evil and likes to make deals with everyone. Nikki is more out going and loud, she is very aggressive. George is a real bitch and is the popular stereotype in movies, Sapnap is more quiet and hates violence, Bad=Good and swears a lot very rude if you don't know him. Wilbur is alive and like Ghostbur because Alivebur was insane and you know boom boom. Skeppy is very affectionate to Good and is patient with Good, Phil is just more evil and has a bigger blood lust still very protective of his "children". Punz is very selfish and only does things for his own gain, Karl is serious and doesn't enjoy take things as jokes, Eret is an eviler version and protective of the LGTBQ community. Sam is an eviler version as well.

2 years later...

"Night! Zarya! Mercy! Hurry up, we can't get caught by the headmasters!" 4 rebels at the school, strongest and smartest among their piers ran from a group of adults. This game was played often-a rebellious act was put into action, planned down to the minute. Guards would chase after the kids but would always lose them to a trap set up earlier. The 4 children had grown a name for themselves-The puppeteers. These kids had no identity, no one in the school knew who they were or what their powers are. (Yes this realm has magic...I need clout) 

Raven, Dream, Jack and Kyle had gotten many favors from students meaning they could call them whenever they needed to also meaning they had to do whatever asked. This school was training these children the art of war, fighting, crafting and overall survival. If you didn't obey these rules you were punished, good thing they used codenames so their identity's were safe. At the end of their 2nd year the teachers announced there would be a test to determine where you are on the food chain, in groups of 4 there will be a competition to see who is the strongest, smartest and fastest team. 

There will be 4 events the Earth event revolving around parkour, Wind will be long range weapons and shooting skills, Fire will be one on one fights and Water will be agility and quickness. The teacher explains people can form their own group each person must take one event each. Raven, Dream, Jack and Kyle were one team. Raven took Wind, Dream took Earth, Jack took Water and Kyle took Fire. The event was in 1 week. (Raven can hid her wings in this world)

1 week of training and studying the 4 kids were finally ready to compete, some students took this as a joke and did nothing over the week-they were sorted into Born. Most students barely trained because they had natural talent-they were sorted into Life. Only the top 5% who worked and trained made it into the Death. Deaths classroom was all the opposites and the 4 rebels. The Death classroom was more strict and gave more work and homework, they wanted these kids to be able to take over the world.

1 year later...

13 year old Raven and Dream were in the library after hours studying attack formations that they could use against their classmates because after observing them and sticking to the shadow's they found out everyone's formation. Noting the best strategies against each team, finishing their work by adding and tweaking the plans the two started back to their dorm. On the way they heard whispers from a room, wanting gossip and to know secrets they listened in on what the voices were saying.

"Every year those soldiers are getting stronger...Soon we will be able to take revenge on those who have wronged us and take back what's rightfully ours. We can become the main kingdom with our army and send the neighboring kingdoms into poverty so they will have no choice but to bow down to their rulers." a more deep voiced male said, "Then we can wipe away the plague that infected this kingdom, starting with those beggars we see on the street. What Filth!" A more pitched voice said, it was a girl's voice but had a more manly tone.

Dream and Raven bolted away from the room, rushing back to share the news with their dorm mates. After explaining the situation everyone agreed that they couldn't stay here much longer, after all who would want to kill the innocent? The next day the 4 gathered everyone in the Death classroom, people knew there was always a reason for Dream or Raven to interfere or call something t everyone's attention. Before the teacher showed up Dream explained what happened the night before, the opposites believed what they were saying. It was weird to make children into soldiers at this young age. Devising a plan was easy...the 4 would run away sending all focus on them while the rest stay behind and gather information. 

They would all meet back up when the opposites got out, at a hidden village that the 4 would start to construct. 2 weeks later when it's a holiday the 4 disappear into the night.

2 years later...

The opposites received a letter about where the village was, it was about a weeks travel from the school and 3 days from the kingdom. The opposites hitched a ride back to the kingdom then traveled on foot for 3 days. Arriving at the village the opposites could see a tiny community built, they had farms, bakery's, etc. All most everything they needed to survive on their own. The opposites wandered around before seeing Dream and Raven in the town square talking to some people. The opposites approached them, the reunion was quick but everyone felt like their family had been whole again.

On their 2nd day of arriving at the village a letter from the royal family was sent to Raven, she notified the team(Opposites and her 3 friends) and everyone agreed that the original 4 who escaped first should return because they looked different and barely anyone would recognize them. 3 days time they arrived at the kingdom, the guards in front of the castle escorted the 4 to the Queen's area. The Queen had her back to the 4 and was looking out the window at the town below.

"I know who you really are. I want your service, I need you to put together a group of thieves and take down this kingdom. My husband has been blinded by  greed and power, I fear our kingdom will do more evil then good. That's why I want you 4 to form a group of thieves and steal from this kingdom and give whatever you sell to a neighboring kingdom...you can keep some of the money for yourself but I want you to restore the balance among the kingdoms. I shall give you some notes about the kingdom to give you a start." "Mam we are not cut ou-" Dream started "You are more then talented enough to pull this off. Leave now and gather everything you need." Kyle and Jake went ahead to go handle something back  at the town.

Dream and Raven had stayed to collect the notes. The Queen handed Raven the notes before giving her last piece of advice to the two "Don't trust those two...They will betray you the moment they can, watch out for each other." Dream and Raven left they walked out into the courtyard, a scream erupted from the building behind them. "THE QUEEN HAS BEEN KILLED!" In a matter of seconds Dream and Raven were surrounded by guards all pointing swords at their necks. Quackity and Nikki were in the area trading when they heard what happened, as quickly as they could they ran back to the village, they used magic to get back.

Dream and Raven were taken to the King's throne room in shackles. "What are your names!" The king demanded. "..." "Answer Me!" Dream and Raven looked at each other, silently communicating "My name is Nightmare and she is Zarya..." "You two have killed my wife. I sentence you to life in prison" Dream and Raven struggled in the grip of the guards. They were brought to a black box, with no light besides a slit in the door where meals were given. Dream and Raven spent their days in the dark, talking and singing to each other, planning on how they were going to steal from the Kingdom. One year passed before they finally escaped, the kingdom has been after them for a year before they stopped looking and only put them on a list of most wanted.
