The next morning, Jungwon walked into the classroom and his eyes were fixed on Lea who was there with Jiyoo. Only the three of them were there as it was still early.

"What are you doing here?" Jungwon asked as he sat in his seat.

Lea who was still in a bad mood just sighed a little. "Why? I can't be here? Okay I'm out then."

"No heyy ..." Jungwon approached Lea with a puzzled face.

"You've been like this since yesterday. What's wrong?" Jungwon asked curiously.

Lea didn't reply and she was still silent. Jiyoo looked at Jungwon who also looked at her.

"We got the results of the dance selection yesterday." said Jiyoo and Jungwon started to get excited.

"Really? So how?"

"We were chosen."

"Woahh congratulations!" Jungwon said with a smile.

"We got number two, Yang Jungwon." Lea interrupted in a lazy tone.

"At least you were both chosen, right?"

"Aarhh I can't accept! We practice hard and our position fell to second place only? That's not fair!" Lea slaps her hand on Jiyoo's desk making them shocked.

"Lea ..." Jungwon called in a soft tone.

"What?" Lea asked without looking at him.

"Look here."

Lea turned her head to want to look at Jungwon and at the same time, Jungwon poke gently her cheeks with his finger.

Jungwon chuckled a little as well as Jiyoo who had already seen Lea's facial reaction change shocked.

"How cute." Jungwon praised her.

Lea roll her eyes. "What do you want Jungwon?"

"Come with me to the cafeteria."

"Huh?"

"We're eating ice cream." Jungwon said in a cheerful tone. Lea continued to feel happy.

"Really?"

Jungwon nodded. "My treat."

"Let's go!" Lea pulled Jungwon's wrist and they both got out of there.

Jungwon who wants to say something to Jiyoo doesn't have a chance because Lea has already pulled him away. Jiyoo still remained in her seat.

"What about me ...? Hm." Jiyoo shrugged and lifted her chin alone there.

A few minutes later, Niki's face appeared in front of her. Jiyoo gasped.

"Niki ..."

"Hi!" Niki greeted her and sat down in front of her.

"Why are you here? I saw Jungwon and Lea eating ice cream in the cafeteria earlier." Niki said while looking at Jiyoo.

Jiyoo smiled a little. "Yea he tries to persuade lea because she was sulking about yesterday's thing."

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Jiyoo nodded. "Yes."

Niki smirked. He knows Jiyoo isn't okay.
Without saying anything, Niki kept running out of there. Jiyoo was stunned.

"Where does he want to go?" Jiyoo asked herself.

In less than five minutes, Niki returned with two sticks of ice cream in his hand. He gave it to Jiyoo as he sat back in his seat.

Jiyoo took the ice cream hesitantly.

"I didn't even ask?" Jiyoo looked at him strangely and licked the ice cream. Soon after, she smiled fondly.

Niki also licked his ice-cream. "You like it?"

Jiyoo nodded while carving a smile. "Thank you."

Niki just returned the smile. They enjoy ice cream together.

Meanwhile, Jungwon was arrived there but he stopped his step outside the classroom. He saw Jiyoo's face so happy when enjoying her ice cream with Niki.

Jungwon looked at the ice cream in his hand that he want to give to Jiyoo. Then, he smiled thinly.

The school day is over and the four of them plan to go home together.

"Your mom didn't pick you up today?" Jiyoo asked Lea who was next to her.

Lea shook her head. "Nope. I want to walk today. So, I can exercise a little, right?"

"That's good for your health. Besides, you ate a lot of ice cream this morning just now." Jungwon said who was walking next to Jiyoo.

Lea grinned slightly. "By the way, thanks for the ice creams."

Jungwon just nodded and smiled at her. Jiyoo glanced at Niki who was next to Jungwon.

They exchanged smiles and that reminded them of eating ice cream together earlier.

"Okay why you guys smile each other?" Lea who noticed about Jiyoo and Niki started to speak.

Jiyoo shook her head with a small laugh. "Nothing. Niki and I also ate ice cream in class when you two went out."

"Oh yeah? But Jungwon also ---" Lea didn't have time to speak because Jungwon cut her words immediately.

"Guys look!" Jungwon points his finger at the wall of building 7E which is not far from them.

They looked at the poster lying there and read it for a moment.

"This is an individual dance competition. Woahh it looks kind of interesting!" Lea said excitedly.

"Are you all interested in it?" Niki asked as he looked at them one by one.

Jiyoo and Lea nodded except for Jungwon.

"Yah Jungwon! You've been interested in dancing for a long time right? Why don't we join this together?" said Lea to him.

"I don't want to." Jungwon replied.

"Why?" Jiyoo looked at him.

"Is something bothering you?" It was Niki's turn to ask.

"I'm not interested." Jungwon put both his hands in his pockets before walking forward.

Lea, who had just finished snapping a picture of the poster, started running towards the three of them who were already in front.

"Come on ... This is your chance to show off your dance talents." once again Jiyoo tried to persuade him.

"That's right." Niki agrees.

"This month we have an exam, right? So I want to focus on studying." Jungwon gave a reason.

"But the competition date is early next month. We still have time." Lea said.

"See how it goes." Jungwon replied casually.

"Alright. Oh yeah, tomorrow we'll have a study group at my house, okay?" Lea said and they all nodded in agreement.

Tomorrow afternoon at exactly 3 pm, Jungwon is getting ready to go to Lea's house. He slung the bag over his shoulder.

Just when she wanted to step out, Mrs. Yang began to speak.

"Where are you going?"

Jungwon who finished putting on his shoes in front of the door of the house looked towards his mom.

"Lea's house. Study." he simply answer.

"Study or dance like a fool there?"

Jungwon stood up while straightening his clothes. "Study group with my other friends. This month we have an exam, mom." he answered clearly.

"It's good that way. You have to study, not to do the things that can distract yourself." Mrs. Yang started nagging.

"That's my hobby, my passion. Is it wrong if I do the things I love? After all I want to be a professional dancer one day." Jungwon said in a restrained tone.

"There are many more things you can do. Forget about it. That things may not necessarily guarantee your future."

"Mom!" Jungwon screamed a little high when upset by his mother's sentence.

Mrs. Yang did not reply but she continued to go to the kitchen. Jungwon gritted his teeth angrily. He kept coming out of there by controlling the various mixed feelings in his heart.

When he arrived at Lea's house, it was seen that the three of them were waiting for him there.

"Hi Jungwon!" greeted them and Jungwon just smiled a little.

He took a seat next to Niki and took his book out of the bag. Without saying anything, Jungwon started reading his own book.

Jiyoo, Niki and Lea frowned when they saw Jungwon who was so silent. But they just ignored it.

Jungwon was just reading but he wasn't really focused. His head was still thinking about his mother's sentence earlier. He bit his lip for a long time.

"Guys."

The three of them looked at Jungwon and waited for the next sentence from him.

"I will join the competition." Jungwon said resolutely and they smiled happily at his decision.
