Okay I JUST remembered I had this one, it was a while ago, but it was a doozy.

Sooooo I had to have had this dream sometime in late 2020, because I told it to my cousin while she was still living with us. 

This dream took place in some kind of weird Battle for Dream Island/Inanimate Insanity crossover AU, and to sum it up, the BFDI contestants and the II contestants lived in different apartment buildings across the street from each other (I don't think Hotel OJ was a thing) in some kind of fully populated city area. It looked realistic, so whether it was populated by humans or objects, idk. Also, for some reason, the apartments looked less like apartments and way more just like hotel rooms.

In this dream, I was Fan, and I was living in the II building. Fitting, I guess, since he's my favorite character and I also relate to him a ton. (I have split-second memories of being Firey for some reason, even though that doesn't make sense in the context of the dream? Whatever, I was Fan for the most part.) 

In real life, there's this place we like to go to that sells really good bundt cakes, and in the dream, Paintbrush had one of the mini bundt cakes in their room. I remember it was specifically carrot cake, for some reason. I was talking to Gelatin, and he proposed the idea of casually just committing a crime by breaking into Paintbrush's room while they were gone somewhere and taking that cake instead of just buying one even though they cost like four dollars, and obviously, I agreed to this plan. (It's important noting that even though I was Fan, Paintbrush and I were not roommates in this universe.)

We got into the apartment successfully, and Gelatin swiped the cake and left, but for some reason, I decided to stick around for a little bit. I looked around at their stuff in their bathroom, and then I just kind of buried myself into their bed????? I don't remember Fan OR myself being that creepy, but okay? No clue if that said more about me, or my perception of Fan as a character, and I don't really want to find out.

Then someone called me (It was either Pen or Bottle, I can't remember) and told me Paintbrush had finished up what they were doing and was coming back, so I had to get outta there. For some reason, the door got stuck, so I had to scale out of there through the window, and ran back to the BFDI apartment complex to meet up with Gelatin. We accomplished our mission, we got the cake, and everything should have been fine, right?

Nope, cuz Paintbrush found out someone broke into their apartment, and they were PISSED.

They busted into the BFDI apartment building, flaming and threatening bloody murder, and Gelly Boy and I realized we screwed up BAD. So, like adults, we did the logical thing, and blamed Donut for everything. Donut tried to make a run for it, but that elevator just couldn't close fast enough for the impossible god-like speed Paintbrush had suddenly just gained, and he got torn to shreds. That might have been horrifying to watch, but I experienced that part from Donut's POV, so I can only imagine.

Anyways, we got to eat the cake, and then I woke up.

Also, another object dream I had that I'm bundling in here as a bonus because it was really short: there was a new episode of BFB, and it was a musical episode. All I remember about that dream is Flower having a musical number where she's stressed out about potentially straying from the path of self-improvement and returning to her old ways. I remember absolutely none of the lyrics, but somehow I just remember that that's what the song was about. I had this dream back when the game was down to the final seven, so it was sometime in between September 18 and October 13 of 2020.
