Chapter Four

Jimin

"I made a herbal tea for everybody." She spoke holding a tray in her hands as we sat in Namjoon's and Jin's house. Jin smiling at her constantly. "If you don't like it, I'll make something else."

Yeong Mi was the first to taste it. Her eye lighting up.

"This is a new blend." She smiled brightly. "Death flower, divine berries... is that..." she sipped it again. "Vanilla?"

"Mhm, I have a whole book of herbal tea blends I make. Would you like one?" The girl asked.

"I'd love one!" Yeong Mi grinned. The new girl glanced over me. She smiled faintly before handing Yeong Mi a book. From the smell of things it was handwritten. Yeong Mi flipped through the book. "Whenever my best friend made herbal teas for me, she knew Vanilla was one of my favourites." Tears brimmed her eyes.

"Vanilla is a nice flavour." She spoke sitting on the floor sipping her own tea. "I prefer the divine berries that are purple in the day and blue at night. They don't have a name, but they're the most perfect things I've tasted."

It was silent for a while as everyone drank their teas.

"Anyway, Miss Mia told me to take this little redhead under my wing when she returned to Korea." Jin broke the silence that had coated the room. "She had me visit her once or twice so we knew each other as it was too dangerous for her here."

"Yeah. Jin has been helping me get to grips with things again after an accident." She smiled looking down at her tea. "Jin?..."

"Are you ready?" He looked down at her like a father would to his daughter he just longed to protect. She nodded and set her glass down.

Everyone watched with anticipation.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she smiled up at everyone.

"I'm so glad to be back." Her voice cracked slightly. "I missed you all."

"What do you mean?" Yoongi asked.

"It's been three long years." Her voice wavered. "So I understand why you don't remember me. Jungkook, does this help?" She raised her sleeve, a small singular bracelet hung there with a metal plate on it. Something engraved onto it. He placed his glass down gently before using his speed and pulling her into a hug.

"Oh my god." He cried out gently. She wrapped her arms around him. "It's you. It's really you."

"Wait..." Yeong Mi looked up from the book. "I know this writing." She placed the book down and dropped to her knees hugging the girl.

The rest of us sat dumbfounded until Jin chuckled.

"That's Eong Jeong you idiots."

"What?" Yoongi, Hoseok and Taehyung let their jaws drop. They ran to her and pulled her into a hug along with Jungkook and Yeong Mi.

I sat there in shock. Now that he had mentioned it, I noticed her little things that gave the game away. Her little wrinkles by her eyes when she smiled, the scent, the soft voice.

Once everyone had cried over her she laughed quietly and looked over at me.

"Do I not get some sort of reunion?" She giggled quietly and stood up. She made her way over and pulled me to my feet. Her hands held mine gently and I let reality wash over me. "Come here." She opened her arms and I pulled her in tightly.

"Eonnie..." I whispered running my hands through her hair. She wrapped her small arms around me in return and I could hear her heart beat with joy.

"Jimin. I missed you." She whispered. "I missed you so much."
