Author's Note:

Here we are again...

Please Read Below- Contains Information about trigger warnings.

This is the official stuff including information on trigger warnings and content:

Drawn is the compendium to the Drowning Series in Ezra Miller's POV. My recommendation would be to read that whole Drowning series first before starting this one because it will give you a lot of information into why things happened the way they did in the original series.

For those, who struggle with Ezra's personality, this might give you a better insight into the person he is.

This book will span the whole Resurfacing timeline.

As with everything else I write, I will again warn you that I do not put trigger warnings before chapters. If you read the original stories, you have a good idea of what is in store for this one. You may even find out a thing or two you didn't know.

This story is a work of fiction; any likeness to anyone or any other story is purely coincidental. This is just my brain and how it works.

Public Service Announcement: This story will contain themes including drug use, drinking, sexual assault, abuse (verbal and physical), mature language, pregnancy, loss, grief, and sexual content. It depicts a toxic, unhealthy relationship between two people and the consequences. It's not always going to be pretty. It is not meant to glorify or condone this type of behavior. Abuse is not love and those lines often get blurred. Ladies or gents, if you ever find yourself in a relationship, remember your worth. It's ok to say it is not ok. If you can't stand up for yourself, please reach out to someone for help.

Most of you know I have not been as consistent with my updates over the last 8 months, it has a lot to do with some very tragic personal issues I have been going through.

Some of you may know that I recently lost my older sister to domestic violence at the end of 2021. It has been extremely hard on my family and myself. My sister was an amazing person who lit up the room wherever she went. She was my best friend, the person I looked up to, and the person who protected everyone around her. Unfortunately, she couldn't protect herself too.

I wish that her story played out differently--that it could have ended like all the amazing toxic Wattpad love stories I like to read. But, of course these stories are fiction and real life is much different. Even though her murderer has just been convicted and will not be getting out for a long time, it doesn't make the hurt go away. It won't bring her back.

Please don't ever let this happen to you or someone you know. Get help.

A few things about my sister I would like to share just because I am missing her. Her favorite color was purple, she loved butterflies and horses. My favorite memory of her was when my son couldn't pronounce her name when he was little. She came and picked him up and tried to teach him. When he couldn't do it, she stuck out her tongue and said just call me Bleh-bluh-bluh-bluh--Aunt Bleh-bluh-bluh-bluh. He called her that the last time he saw her even though he can say her name now. I will never forget how much she laughed every time he said it.

Everyday I fight to hold on to the good memories I have of her and not let the worst one win.

I'm writing still because I know she wouldn't want me to stop, even if the subject matter is very difficult for me and hits way closer to home than I ever imagined. I keep going for her.

This book is dedicated to the greatest big sister that ever existed.

Thanks for reading!! I hope you enjoy!
