Born to a family of mages wes practiced magic with his father at a young age. He exceeded his fathers expectations making him proud.

Growing up young in a village not far from Nagoya wes always thought his fathers magic was amazing until his village was attacked by a spider queen. He ran through the village only to see them being killed in front of him . Wes was looking for his father and mother only to see them be killed in front of him by the spider queen herself Arachne. Arachne saw him as her next meal wes was scared walking from the queen as she walked closer to him. Wes was scared that he was gonna die as wes only thought only of what his dad taught him. As Arachne got closer about to strike a light shines from wes as the grimoire his father gave him opened and chanted 'Light shine onto darkness and become bright as day as dark as night.' As a ray of light shines upon wes as he kills Arachne with a beam of light coming from his grimoire. He fell to knees as killed the queen of spiders and saw her henchmen retreat from the village as wes mourned his parents death.
