Afro (アフロ, Afuro), or better known as Afro Samurai (アフロサムライ, Afuro Samurai)

'Nothing personal it's just moving forward'

Afro is an incredibly talented young swordsman whose mother was decapitated in front of his own eyes as a child. That traumatic experience caused an innocent little boy to have a mind flustered with revenge and, with that, boy grew into a cold-blooded killer, spilling the bloods of countless souls in his wake. They call him The new Afro Samurai.

As the Number Three, he killed many in defense and revenge for the ultimate goal of claiming the said headbands and destroy them once and for all for the sake of avenging his mother and to end the bloodshed of these cloth.

Appearance

Afro is a dark skinned young man with dark brown eyes and a large black frizzly type large Afro (hence the name) that flow in the winds of the wind mostly.

Afro's attire consists of the number headband passed on to him in the series. He also wears a white japanese folding shirt, and dark brown baggy pants with heavily frayed hems by the ankles. He wears a pair of japanese geta (a type of Japanese clog or wooden sandal).

Personality
Afro is a fairly stern and serious person, though, on occasion, seems aloof. He rarely ever smiles, despite being depicted smiling throughout his childhood. Afro is seen smiling and even laughing with his friends. However, as a result of the death of his mother by the challengers hand, and the death of most of his friends and his master, He became a silent and coldblooded killer. He has no qualms about killing anyone and everyone in his path, stating that his only aim is to "move forward."

Despite Afro's personality which has labeled him a monster by the public, he is seen to have some form of kindness within him. He also have some sense of justice wanting to avenge his mother and to destroy the headbands hoping to prevent more bloodshed for a cursed cloth he is wearing.

He's very ruthless, even using a crippled young woman (who's younger brother he just killed) as a human shield. He also kills a crowd of people that try to get revenge for her and burn down the village to lose trace of evidence.

Abilities

Despite having no Aura or Semblance, Afro is a Highly skilled swordsman able to deflect crossbow bolts and shatter bullets as well as perform lethal sword attacks. Afro can use his subconscious mind to create completely new combat techniques in the middle of battle as taught by his Former Master. He was also able to effectively fight during an aerial battle against an aerial Grimm.

He is fairly strong able to cleanly slice through thugs and warriors quickly and effortlessly or pierce a person's throat with his sword sheath. He is also able to jump quite high and his speed and agility are his only skills that match his strength. He show enough strength to send a guy twice his size flying into a wall with a single punch.

Afro normally fights with his sword in one hand but when facing stronger opponents or higher numbers he will use two hands for a stronger attack.

Afro's speed and agility are such that he can quickly slice a Missile in two and shatter a bullet into molten shards. Afro is also fast enough to easely avoid a barrage coming At him.

Weapon
Bushida's Sword

Afro's only weapon is his sword, previously wielded by his mother, Bushida. It's a long bladed sword with a tri wooden guard, and a pale red colored hilt and sheath. It also has a string with a small silver ring at the end of it on the bottom of the sword.

It is a very weapon able to cut most metals easily and very strong to withstand attacks easily and shown to be durable showing no wear or tear in combat at all.

His sheathe is also lethal able to stab flesh easily with enough strength and power in it.

Weakness
Despite being skilled the major drawback is him not having aura or semblance due to the fact of not being native to remnant making him very vurnable.

He has below average durability and can be taken down with a few hits can harm him greatly if not focused.
