I just finished this drawing a few seconds ago. This drawing shows what depression in my opinion is like. To me depression is like drowning. You want to swim up to the surface of the water, but your just to sad to do so. You want to swim to the surface, but you don't have the energy to try. All you do is keep going under and under and under until you can't go under anymore.

                        Don't let me drown

I drew this with a pencil. Then I went over the girl with a very thin sharpie marker. After that I colored the girl in with a tan color pencil. Then I used my yellow sharpie marker to color on her hair and I took the black thin sharpie to make the hair look like it's pieces of hair floating around. Then I took a big fat sharpie marker and colored on the background. Last I wrote "don't let me drown" on the top, my name, and the date. Also that little black spot is to cover up the girl boob. The little grey spot in the upper right hand corner is where my name is.
