"Let it go" is a drawing of a hand letting go of a bird. The bird was with the hand for a long long time and wants to be free, but the hand loves the bird too much. The hand finally lets the bird go and the bird starts to be happy and free.  The bird represents a person hurting  badly and wants to be free to die or to be free to be happy. The hand represents a person holding on to the person she/he loves. Even though the bird loves the person, but at the same time wants to leave the person.

     This drawing was sketched out with pencil. Then outlined with a black prismacolor marker.  The hand was colored in with a tan color pencil and a peach like color pencil. The bird was colored in with a black prismacolor marker, a violet color pencil, a purple prismacolor marker, and a black sharpie.

   The final details I added to the drawing where two quotes. The first quote reads "if you love something...let it go." The second quote reads "a sad think in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go."  I like those quotes because they are true.
