Janet was so excited for the next week, not only because her birthday fell in there, but also she would get to see Felix, who always did something special with her. Over the years she had acquired hundreds of drawings and given one to the Volturi every month. She knew about them and fantasized about being one of them. It’s not like she wouldn't be, Aro had wanted to change her since she was of age but it would raise too much suspicion.

Janet woke to a tapping on her window, yes he's here she thought and jumped up to open the window. Janet opened the window but it wasn't Felix that came in it was Jane. Jane only came when Felix had a mission or other business to attend to.

'Where is Felix?' Janet signed to Jane.

"What?"Jane only knew a little sign language and even then it took her 3 or 4 times to get what was being said. Janet signed again 'where is Felix?' only to get a still confused Jane.

Janet grabbed a sheet of paper and wrote her question on it seeing Jane was not understanding. "Oh, he is finishing a mission he should be here by tomorrow." Jane said.

After that week my mom told Janet the news," Janet, you have been excepted into college!! it's a prestigious school in Verona, Italy for gifted kids in art and science like yourself." oh no, oh no, this was not going to work, she was suppose to stay here until she was 20 and can be on her own. Then she would to go to the Volturi castle and live there for eternity that was the plan.

It’s not like this is the first time the plan has been in jeopardy. for example there were at least 5 times her mom tried to get Janet courted with different guys around town, each time she would be as discussing as possible to push them away. It did frustrate Janet’s mother but she couldn't go to any of them. She had her life planed out and she couldn't stop it or she'd have Aro right on her tail. Plus there was Felix, she couldn't leave him she had had a crush on him since she first "saw" him.

"The letter says they will be by next month to pick you up." her mom said
