In case you're not interested yet, here's a tiny bit of the contract Draco was bullied into signing: "I, Draco Malfoy, hereby agree to the terms of the dare accepted on the date of August 12th 2003, according to which I shall attempt to seduce and/or win over Mr Harry Potter within two weeks of the date of signing of this contract. Commentary: I think about this fic a lot, but I don't exactly know why. It's everything you want in a seven minutes in heaven fic—they don't know who they're kissing, everyone's having fun, the after effects are perfect—plus more, but that's not what gets me. I think it's Harry's initial reluctance to participate (after being emotionally scarred from kissing Lavender last time) only to realize that it's not a girl in the closet with him, and his wonderful reaction to that. Now, for the second half of the fic. Think of the handcuffs as one of those punishments where you and the person you're fighting with have to hold hands until you make up. It's just like that, only better, and less likely to remind you of arguments with your siblings. Harry and Draco are magically handcuffed until they can work things out... one way or another (thanks ever so much, Pansy-dearest).

Commentary: This is a classic, of course, but it's also just great. That's why it takes the top spot on this list. Featuring: inter-house unity at its finest, Pansy, Ginny, and Hermione scheming at their finest, and even a tiny dash of secret relationship. You see, Harry and Draco have gotten themselves into a bit of a habit (yes, I am getting into spoilers now, I suppose, but really I'm just giving slightly more detail). It's not their fault, not really. They kissed each other during a game of spin the bottle and now, every subsequent party, the girls work to get them closer and closer together. And so of course Harry and Draco panic. What are they to do? Plan ahead, of course. They can master the physical side of this and then they won't have to worry about being unprepared for whatever game night might throw at them. But slowly, and in a really beautiful way, they start to realize there's more to this than the physical side of things. So it's beautiful. You see Draco struggling with his dad and with Voldemort (this fic is based in seventh year, non-canon-compliant, with very few elements of plot outside of the relationship), both of them struggling with their sexualities, and lots of interesting character relationships on the side, too. Just go ahead and give it a read, really.
