Wrongly Accused: Part 2

Draco held his head in his hands while he waited for Harry to come get him. It had been a few months since he had gotten his new guard and they had gotten closer and closer. Eventually, Harry's good reports of him had paid off since they moved him out of isolation.

Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to do.

The prisoners hated him and loved to hurl insults at him. Draco was doing a pretty good job ignoring them until one of them had made a rude remark about his mother. He couldn't just sit there and let some random deadbeat insult his mother. Luckily, a prison guard, not Harry, was there to pull him off the guy. Now he was waiting in his cell for Harry.

Draco gripped his hair as he heard heavy footsteps coming towards his room. He heard the door open but still didn't raise his head.

"Draco?" Came Harry's soft voice. "I'd like you to meet someone."

He reluctantly looked up and saw a tall lanky figure next to Harry's short and muscular one. His hair was auburn coloured and scars riddled his face and neck.

"This is Remus, the person I said who could help you," Harry said. "Remus, this is Draco."

"Harry, there's no point," Draco grumbled. "Especially not after what I just did."

"What did you do?" Harry asked, confused.

"I got in a fight with a guy who insulted my mother," Draco mumbled. He heard Harry sigh.

"Well, that will certainly make things more difficult, but from what I've heard from Harry, you don't deserve to be here so I'll try my hardest to get you out," Remus said. His voice was deep and something in Draco calmed. Maybe he would get out of here. Especially if this man, who wore old sweaters and looked like no one could ever change his mind thought he could.

"Thanks," he said to Remus before turning to Harry. "They're putting me back in isolation. I was told to wait for you."

"Really?" Harry asked in shock. "That other asshole should be in isolation, not you."

"He is as well, but they're moving me because of my 'impulsiveness'," Draco huffed. Harry furrowed his eyebrows but before he could say anything, Remus cleared his throat.

"It was nice meeting with you Draco, but I have a meeting with the lawyer I'm sure Harry has told you about," he said with a smile. He left with a hug from Harry and a handshake from Draco.

"I like him," Draco said, once he left.

"It's hard not to," Harry replied with a grin. "He's quiet but stubborn, so I think you have a pretty good chance of getting out."

Draco smiled. Hopefully, being put in isolation meant that there would be less chance of a fight and more chance of getting out of this hellhole.

"So what did you do anyway?" Harry said as they walked down the hallway to his new jail cell.

"Some guy was talking crap about my mother so I hit him," Draco replied, fists curling.

"Well he had it coming. You're not the first person he talked shit to, you were just the first one to act on it," Harry told him as they stopped in front of a door. He pulled a set of keys out from his pocket and unlocked it.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah, don't worry about it," Harry replied. "We'll just wait for Remus to get back to us about how it went with the lawyer."

Draco nodded and after staring at each other for a few quiet moments, Harry was called away. Draco wasn't ashamed about looking slightly under Harry's back when he turned around. After all, he needed something nice to look at in this hellhole.

Harry walked away from Draco's cell with his hands in his pockets. He liked the blond man, maybe a bit too much. He knew the other man liked him too. He was definitely flirting with him on Harry's first day at the cells.

"What are you thinking about so much?" A voice said, cutting into his thoughts. Harry looked back seeing Ron, his best friend, who he had nearly walked right past.

"I have a problem," Harry sighed. Ron put his arm around his shoulders and they walked down the hall.

"What's up?" Ron asked.

"There's this prisoner and I really like him," Harry rushed out. Ron slowly removed his arm.

"Uh, well, what's he in for? Drug dealing, theft . . ?" He asked.

"Um, murder," Harry mumbled. Ron jumped.

"Harry, are you bloody insane?!" He yelled.

"But he was framed!" Harry exclaimed, shushing Ron so no one else would hear.

"How do you know that?" Ron asked suspiciously.

"Well, he said so but it makes sense. You know Fudge hates the Malfoys!" Harry replied.

"Malfoy!" Ron nearly yelled. "I think you're fucking insane."

"But he's not bad like all the other's Malfoys were," Harry promised.

"Well, I did hear about the younger one being alright," Ron grumbled. "So what are you doing about it?"

"I got Remus to talk to his lawyer," Harry said. Ron frowned.

"What if it doesn't work? What if he just ends up in here for ages?" Ron asked.

"We'll hope it doesn't come to that," Harry said determinedly.

"Just don't get too attached mate," Ron replied, sighing. "You know how you get."

"Oh hush," Harry said, already back to thinking about a certain blond man.
