Grave
Dedicated to @multi-fabdom
Crisp leaves crunch under Harry's and Draco's feet. Draco's warm hand was clutched tightly in his own. That was what Harry tried to concentrate on. Not on where they were heading, or why they were heading there. But he failed. All he could concentrate on was the white marbles headstone with the names of his two parents engraved on it. He wondered what it looked like now. He had visited it last year. There was a chip in the headstone next to his father's name. He had repaired it instantly with angry thoughts. How dare someone damage the resting place of two of the bravest people he knew? Now he knew that his anger irrational. Harry doubted that they meant it or even noticed that they did it.
"Harry?" Draco said hesitantly.
Harry jerked his head up and looked at the iron gates that surrounded the graveyard. He took a deep breath and pushed open the iron gates. Before going to his parents' graves, he stopped at Remus' and Tonks' graves. After laying flowers there and standing in silence for a moment, he moved onto Sirius' grave. It was here that he shed a few tears for his godfather that he barely knew. Draco wrapped an arm around Harry and pulled him closer. After laying down some of Sirius' favourite flowers at the grave, he slowly began to trudge over to his parents' grave. He had been here so many times after the war that he didn't even need to look up to see where he was going.
Finally, he stopped at the marble headstone. He sat down cross legged, bringing Draco down with him. He knew that if it were any other situation, Draco would be complaining.
"Hi," he started awkwardly and sighed. "Last time I came, I had a panic attack on top of you guys. Sorry about that. Um, last time I was here, I wasn't married. I got married to Draco a few months ago. Did I tell you that we're were dating?" Harry furrowed his eyebrows and Draco laughed quietly.
"I might not have, but now you know. Or maybe you already knew. Is it true that loved ones watch over us when they die?" Harry asked. Tears filled his eyes as a small ache radiated in his chest. An ache for the parents he never had. Draco rubbed his back and tears streamed down Harry's face. Sobs racked his body and he soon found it hard to breathe.
Draco turned him so that they were facing each other. "Come on Harry. Breathe," he soothed.
"I can't-" Harry sobbed.
"Yes you can," Draco said firmly. He wrapped Harry up in a hug and held him until he had stopped shaking.
Harry pulled away from Draco and wiped his eyes before pulling out his wand. With a slightly shaking hand, he moved his wand in a circular motion. A wreath of white lilies appeared. Draco stood up, pulling Harry up with him.
"You ready to go?" Draco asked softly.
Harry breathed in, staring at the grave. "Yeah."
They walked away, hand in hand. Harry looked at Draco and said, "Thank you for coming with me."
"I wouldn't be anywhere else," Draco replied before kissing him.

Hi guys! Sorry for the wait, I just finished my exams recently and I'm just getting back to writing. The ending wasn't that great, I kind of lost motivation to write because I left this half finished for a few weeks. I'll be back soon with an update!
