"Potter." Malfoy sneered glancing at the raven haired boy. "Move out of my way." He was getting fairly irritated. Harry had been standing in his way zoned out for nearly five minutes and he was ready to shove him, "oh come off of it Malfoy." Harry mumbled moving out of the blondes way.

Everyday was the same, even after the war. The students who missed out on their seventh year were back and considered eighth year students. Draco and Harry were just that, still the same. Malfoy was a bit different though.

He was nice to everyone else, apologizing to those he had hurt in the past. Everyone including Hermione and Ron but never Potter. Harry wasn't quite sure as to why that was. Seeing as they'd been going back and forth like this for years, bloody hell Harry spoke on his behalf and made sure there was a trial that he could fight to make Draco free at. They were planning on sending him straight from the battlefield to Azkaban. Even though he'd thrown his wand to Harry at the end.

Harry couldn't understand why Malfoy wanted to keep going with the silly act, but nonetheless he just continued on. As if he didn't care about Draco, as if he wasn't threatening to hex any student who even looked at Draco the wrong way. Only he could be a rude snot to Draco, otherwise the raven haired boy felt that Malfoy did not deserve harsh treatment.

Malfoy was quite stunned by Harry only muttering a response and not attempting to fight back. "What's got your knickers in a twist Potter?" Harry shrugged, rolling his eyes at the blonde. "I don't see why you still hate me.. I've done all I could to help protect you.." Harry started confident, and slowly trailed off. Knowing that showing this type of emotion to Malfoy was a bad idea.

The raven haired boy kept his head down. Passing the blonde, who now had wide eyes at the response from Harry. It stung a bit, leaving a bad taste in his mouth. He didn't like hurting Harry, he just didn't know how else to approach him. It had just always been their thing. He felt like him and Harry's rivalry was the only sense of normalcy he got to feel after the war. He didn't realize Harry felt differently.

It had been three days since Harry and Draco had their weird little exchange. It was slowly driving Draco insane. "Go talk to him." Draco's head snapped up at the voice, and he looked at Ron with wide eyes. "Weasley? What?" He asked not knowing what he meant. He figured he meant Harry of course, but it was a shock coming from Weasley.

"Draco it's obvious how you two feel about each other. Maybe I'm reading your emotions wrong, but I'm not reading Harry's wrong. Either confess your love or reject him so he can move be on please. He's at the astronomy tower." Draco nodded slowly, he knew what he needed to do. He got up, making his way to the astronomy tower.

The boys feet felt numb, like he was floating. Draco had feelings for Harry. He had known that about himself for years, but he hadn't realized Harry felt the same. When he got where he needed to be, he saw the boy sitting with his feet dangling off the edge. "Harry..?"

Harry's head snapped around, and he looked over at Draco with wide eyes. "D-Draco? You called me Harry?! How did you know I was here?" The blonde chuckled at his stuttering and rambling and sat down next to him.

"Ron told me, that weasel is actually a pretty decent bloke." Harry nodded in agreement and just looked straight again. Staring at anything but the man next to him. "Listen.. Harry.. I am sorry I've been awful to you, not just this year but every year before that. You are a constant in my life. So much has changed, but we never have. Even when we cared for each other, our relationship never changed. I liked that for awhile, honestly I think I just didn't want you to change. You see Harry, I have been in love with you since third year. I have loved you every single day, for five years. I never wanted you to change, because I figured once you knew how I felt you'd leave. Even if it meant that we fought every single day until we were on our death beds. Anything to have you as a constant, anything to keep loving you. I would rather love you in silent, than have you hate me.. because let's be real. We've never truly hated each other I don't think."

Draco finally trailed off, and looked up to meet Harry's shocked eyes. The blonde blushed, and went to move, only to be stopped. "You mean it..?" Draco chuckled and nodded, "I'm Draco Malfoy. Would I say all of that sappy shit if I didn't mean it?"

Harry smiled, and he leans close to Draco. "I love you too, I have for years. I'll admit, having you as a constant enemy has kept me going some years. Though I'd rather have you as a constant everything.. because Draco to me you are everything. The first thing I wake up and think about, the last thing I think of before going to sleep. The sun, the moon. The reason for my smile, and the reason for my tears. You're everything Draco, so I guess now is a better time to ask than never. Draco Lucius Malfoy.. will you be my everything?"

Draco whispered 'yes, only if you'll be mine' through the tears in his eyes and smiled brightly. "May I kiss you?" Draco asked, and Harry nodded, leaning over to kiss his everything.

As Draco kissed his love, he realized. Harry would always be his constant.
