YOU ALREADY KNOW WASSUP
--PROMPT BY LIGHTBLUEOCTOPI --
They asked for wolfstar. They asked for drarry. I got carried away. I'm not sorry. This is pure fluff, I don't even think it has a hint of angst in it my angsty heart is quaking but I'm pleased with the result. //inspired by a tumblr post
"Papa! I made a new friend at kiddergarten today!" Harry exclaimed as he burst through the door.
"Kindergarten," Remus corrected as he kissed Sirius' cheek. His husband gave him a knowing smirk and went into the kitchen. "Who was it?"
"His name is Draco and he's my best friend in the whole world and he has pretty hair!" Harry said happily, jumping onto Remus' lap.
"Draco Malfoy?" Remus asked, shocked.
"Yeah! And he told me I'm his best friend in the whole world too and we held hands and we went in the sandbox together!"
Remus smiled. He would have to give the boy a chance. He was still young, and even if his father was an absolute ass, Draco could be okay.
"That's wonderful, Harry. You should invite him over to play sometime."
"Yes!" Harry cheered. Sirius smiled as he entered the living room, balancing three plates of sandwiches.
"Did Harry tell you about his new friend?" he asked, setting down the plates. Harry happily grabbed his sandwich and started eating.
"He did. Draco Malfoy?"
Sirius shrugged, smiling. "Whatever makes him happy."
"I love Draco, he'sh my besht friend," Harry said through a mouthful of sandwich.
"Swallow before you speak," Remus scolded. Sirius snorted, and Remus smacked him.

"-and his name is Harry and he told me I have pretty hair and I told him he has pretty eyes, because they're really green and he held my hand and-" Draco stopped his rambling here. "Mama, is it okay if I love boys more than girls?"
Narcissa froze at these words.
Draco was her darling, her world. She knew how Lucius would react, what the rest of the Wizarding World would say. But Draco was her number one priority, and she would destroy everyone who tried to taint his happiness. She refused to let her son live in fear.
"Of course it is. You may love whomever you wish," she said quietly, hugging her darling son tight.

Harry smiled brightly as he ran up to his best friend.
"My papas said that you can come over and play!" he said excitedly.
"My mama said it was okay that I love a boy more than I like girls," Draco said, just as excited.
Harry's face fell. "You love a boy?" he asked, trying not to sound upset.
Draco giggled. "It's you, silly!"
Harry brightened immediately. "Oh. I love you too!" he said excitedly.
"Yay!" Draco said happily.
"Are we married now?" Harry asked.
"What?"
"My papas said that when you love someone you marry them. Are we married now?"
"Yeah!" Draco cheered, holding his hand. "I'm so excited to tell my mama that I have a husband!"
"I've never been married before," Harry said in awe.
"Me either. Do we have to kiss?"
Harry scrunched up his nose. "Maybe later. Want to play in the sandbox?"
"Yeah!"

When Narcissa entered the room, she couldn't help but smile at her son. He was on the ground, scribbling furiously on a piece of paper with a green crayon.
"Draco, we need to discuss a pureblood tradition with you," Lucius said, standing tall above his son.
Draco didn't look up. "No thanks."
Narcissa had to cover her mouth to hide her laughter. Salazar, she loved her son.
"Draco." Lucius' voice was harsh. "When you come of age, you will be drawn into a marriage ontract. It is a standing tradition of the Malfoy family. We wish for you to come downstairs and talk to the little girls. Make friends. One of them will be your wife in a few years."
Narcissa scowled.
"I can't marry anyone else," Draco replied calmly, grabbing a black crayon and scribbling once again.
"Anyone else?" Lucius asked, voice a bit high. Narcissa smirked.
"I'm already married."
Lucius froze. "You wanna run that by me again?"
"Harry asked me to marry him today! He said his papas said that if you love someone, you get married. I love Harry and Harry loves me, so we're married!"
Lucius was completely stunned by every word that had just left Draco's mouth.
"Harry has two fathers. And I assume you're talking about Harry Potter. And he's a boy," Lucius ground out angrily. "Of course you can't marry him.
Draco's eyes were slowly starting to fill with tears. "But... we're already married. Tomorrow's the anni- anniver-" he looked to his mother for help.
"Anniversary?" she offered, scooping up her son. He nodded, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand.
"I wanted to give him a gift, so I'm drawing him," Draco said sadly, pointing at the mess of scribbles on the paper.
"I'll tell you what, Draco. We can go downstairs and you can help me bake a cupcake for Harry, and then you can finish your drawing and have two presents for him tomorrow?" Narcissa suggested, kissing her son's cheek lightly.
"Yeah!" Draco cheered.

"What if I get in Gryffindor and he doesn't want to be my friend anymore?" Harry asked nervously.
Sirius grinned. "Please. You two are best friends. You'll always be friends. Besides, aren't you already married?"
The long-time joke made Harry smile, and he nodded. "Yeah. We are."
****************
"What's up with you lately?" Harry asked, slightly irritated with his best friend. "You've been so rude to Ginny."
Draco shrugged. "I don't like her. She's always hanging on you. It feels like she's trying to take my best friend away."
Harry frowned. "You and Parkinson are the same way. Besides, we're already married. It's not like I can just ditch you for some girl."
Draco's lips twitched at the inside joke. "You're right," he sighed. "I'm sorry."

The very moment Dumbledore finished talking about the Yule Ball, Harry was up and out of his seat, running to the Slytherin table. Soft laughter followed him as he slid into the seat in front of Draco, but Draco's warm grin was worth the mockery.
"Will you go with me to the ball?" Harry asked breathlessly.
The entire Slytherin table was dead silent.
Draco's eyes were shining with something Harry couldn't read into.
"Of course, I would love to."
Harry smiled brightly. "Great. I would have had to divorce you if you said no."
"Divorce?" Pansy said irritably. Harry tried to repress the smile at the knowledge that she had been planning to ask Draco, and Harry had gotten there first.
"Yeah, we're married. Didn't you know?" Harry asked teasingly, eyes locked on Draco's amused ones.
Pansy started saying something, but Harry didn't hear her. Draco's eyes were too pretty to not be absorbed in.

Draco cornered Harry outside of their Transfiguration classroom.
"Why are you avoiding me?" he asked harshly, hiding his pain behind anger.
"I'm not-"
"Don't lie to me! If you didn't want to be friends with me anymore, you could have had the Gryffindor courage to tell me!"
"It's not that I don't want to be friend with you-" Harry started.
"Then what?"
"It's that I want to be more."
Draco stilled.
"I'm in love with you, and it fucking terrifies me. I don't know how to handle it. I love everything about you and it scares me because you're my best friend in the whole world and I don't want to lose you because I can't control myself."
"Like it's any easier for me. You're constantly surrounded by girls who see your name and nothing more. They don't know about your obsession with sugar. They don't know you pick the blueberries out of anything containing them. They don't know you read stupid teen romance novels. They don't know your eyes light up when you see chocolate, they don't know you hum to calm yourself down, they don't know you wanted to be a Muggle trash collector when you were a kid-"
"I thought we agreed that never happened," Harry interrupted with a glare.
Draco grinned as he reached forward and took his hand. "They don't know you- they don't love you like I do."
He leaned forward, lips an inch away from Harry's.
"Besides, we're already married."
***************
"You'll never guess what Harry just said," Remus said, walking into the room, letter in hand. His eyes were slightly tearing up.
Sirius stood quickly. "What? What is it?"
"Him and Draco are getting married!"
Sirius relaxed, grinning at his husband.
"Oh, please. They already are."
