I meant to post this an hour ago but i forgot guess whos a shitty author surprise its me :)))

Also, I lied. I was planning on this being the last one, but it got a bit carried away and now the next one will be the last one sorry :/

If it makes you feel better, the next chapter should be updated within the next hour

Harry had been staring at his phone for twenty minutes.

Is it too desperate if I text him right after he gave me his number? he wondered.

He sighed, opening his phone and adding Draco as a contact, with a little skateboard  emoji next to his name.

Harry: hey, was just texting you so you could have my number

He waited. And waited. And waited.

Draco didn't respond.

Harry's fingers twitched anxiously.

Ding!

He almost fell off his couch in his rush to grab his phone and desperately read the message Draco had sent.

Draco: so sorry, I was in the shower. This is Harry, not some creepy stalker, correct?

Harry breathed out a sigh of relief. Draco wasn't ignoring him.

Harry: I'm both. Check outside your window >:)

Draco: lmaaooo stfu

Draco: what's the address of the rink?

Harry smiled, and replied with the address.

Draco: awesome! I'll see you sunday! goodnight Harry

Harry: goodnight Draco

He couldn't get rid of the blush on his face as he set down his phone and went to bed.

*****************************

It was Wednesday. The competition was in four days.

And Harry was anxious as fuck.

Draco: hey! me and my friends are going to get ice cream. want me to pick you and your friends up and see if they want to go?

Harry: sure! I'll text them to make sure.

--

Harry: y'all Draco invited us out to ice cream with his friends this is not a fucking drill I repeat this is not a drill get your fucking clothes on get fucking ready and let's fucking go you don't have a choice its a triple fucking date

Hermione: dont have to tell me twice

Ron: i just fucking woke up

Harry: it's one in the afternoon

Ron: and????

Hermione: and get fucking ready so you can see your boy toy

Ron: fine

Ron: pick me up last

Harry: you better be fucking ready or we're leaving your ass, blaise or no blaise

Ron: you could just drop him off at my house

Ron: preferrably in my bed

Harry: STOP TEXTING AND GET READY

Ron: pushy bitch

Harry laughed softly, setting down his phone. He ran his fingers through his messy hair, and heard a horn honk at the same time his phone dinged.

Draco: WERE HEEEEEERE

Harry laughed at Draco's antics, before shoving his phone in his pocket and leaving his house.

He opened the back door of the car, only to be greeted by Pansy, Blaise, and another boy he didn't recognize. He blinked.

Pansy winked. "You're up front, pretty boy."

Harry flushed, and stepped into the passenger seat. Draco gave him a sweet smile. "Hello. Hermione's or Ron's first?"

"Hermione," Harry answered, shutting the door.

"Seatbelt," Draco said. "You might not care about the law, but I'd rather you didn't die."

Harry grinned, buckling his seatbelt. "Who's he?"

"Theodore Alexander Nott," the boy said dramatically, grinning. "Call me Theo."

"I'm Harry," Harry replied pleasantly. Theo's grin grew.

"I know," he said simply, confusing Harry.

"Here we are!" Draco said loudly, distracting Harry from his confusion.

Harry shot Hermione a quick text, and she was out in seconds, hopping in the backseat and onto her girlfriend's lap. Pansy gave a surprised laugh, but her arms comfortably circled around Hermione's waist.

"I'll be your seatbelt," Pansy said sweetly. Hermione blushed. Harry grinned.

They pulled up in front of Ron's house, and the boy stumbled out a minute later, tugging on his shoe before opening the door and blinking at the seating arrangements.

Blaise rolled his eyes, grabbing Ron's hand and pulling him into his lap before slamming the door. Theo laughed, and Ron turned a bright red.

Draco drove like a fucking crazy person. Harry was pretty sure they were going too fast to even read the speed limit signs that flew past. The blonde almost flipped the car skidding into the parking lot, and nearly crashed into a car when he tried to park, but they ended up at the ice cream place unharmed.

"Remind me to never drive in a car with you again," Hermione muttered as she stepped out.

Harry grinned widely. "C'mon, Hermione! It was like a rollercoaster ride!"

Draco threw him a grin that made Harry's head spin (or maybe it was dizziness from the car ride), and dragged them into the ice cream place.

They crammed into a booth, Harry once again pressed up against Draco.

This time the order is: On one side: Pansy, Hermione, Ron, Blaise. On the other side: Harry, Draco, Theo

Theo immediately caught Draco into conversation, and the couples split off into their own conversations. Harry realized, glumly, he was a seventh wheel on a triple date.

He pulled out his phone.

Harry: help

Fleur: what's goin on?

Harry: im a seventh wheel on a triple date and everyone is talking to their S/O

Fleur: who all is there?

Harry: Draco and some guy Theo, Hermione and Pansy, Ron and Blaise

Draco chose this moment to glance over, and started giggling.

"What is it?" Harry asked, slightly irritated.

"Me and Theo aren't dating," Draco laughed softly.

"Not yet," Theo teased, fake-fluttering his eyelashes at Draco. "Darling, you're sweeter than the ice cream she's about to bring us."

"You flatter me," Draco replied, dramatically placing his hand over his heart. "But no one could compare to you, my love."

Harry fake gagged, returning Draco's teasing attention to him. His gaze flickered to Harry's phone, before returning to Harry's eyes.

"She's not wrong," he said simply, and before Harry could ask what that meant, the waitress brought over their dessert.

As the others started eating, Harry glanced down at his phone to see the message Draco had seen.

Fleur: shame. you and Draco would have looked cute together.

*****************************

It was eleven at night on Saturday when Harry got the text.

Draco: hola

Harry: hey

Draco: can't sleep?

Harry: nervous for the competition.

Draco: ah. I see. No chance of sleeping?

Harry: nope. why?

Draco: on my way

Harry froze. Draco was coming over? What was happening?

It was ten minutes later when his phone lit up with a text from Draco.

Draco: come out front

Harry shoved his phone in his pocket and opened his door, grinning.

Draco was parked in front of his house, sitting on the windowsill of the driver's side door and grinning at Harry.

"C'mon!" he shouted.

Harry didn't question it. He just hopped into the car, smiling at Draco as the blonde started driving.

He was driving just as fast as before, and didn't even bother asking Harry to put on his seatbelt.

The skate park? Harry thought as they pulled in front of the familiar place. It was illuminated only by a few street lamps.

Sure enough, Draco opened his door and started to get out. Harry followed him.

Draco pulled his green skateboard out from the back of the car, and they walked toward the skate park together.

"What are we doing?" Harry asked.

Draco grinned as they walked up to the top of the skate ramp. "I figured if you wanted to get your mind off ice skating, why not try a different type of skating?"

Harry broke into a smile at the sweet gesture.

"Alright," Draco instructed. "Put both of your feet on the skateboard, and I'm going to gently push you forward."

"I'm gonna fall," Harry warned.

"I know. It's part of the process. You fall, you get back up, you try again. Never give up, always strive for your absolute best."

Harry smiled at the inspirational message, and felt Draco's hands rest on his back.

"Ready?" Draco murmured.

"As I'll ever be."

Draco pushed him forward gently, and Harry rolled forward for about two seconds before falling backwards off the skateboard.

Draco laughed as he joined him. "You okay?"

"Never better," Harry groaned, taking the hand Draco offered him and pulling himself up.

After about twenty more tries and twenty more falls, Harry was tired and a bit sore.

"Can I just watch you do tricks instead?" he asked.

Draco's eyebrows rose. "Do you want to?"

Harry nodded eagerly.

Draco shrugged, and grinned. "You can sit right there." He walked back up to the top of the ramp, and took off without any hesitation.

Harry admired the grace Draco put into skateboarding. He had never considered it an art form, but with Draco doing it, it might well be. He made every movement look effortless and smooth, despite the work Harry knew was put behind it.

After about a half hour of watching Draco turn skateboarding into an art form, the blonde grabbed his board and Harry's arm and dragged him back to the car.

"Where are we going?" Harry asked again.

"I've shown you my passion, it's time you showed me yours."

Harry stared at the ice skating rink they pulled up in front of.

"Is it even open?"

"We'll find out." Draco grabbed his hand and pulled him along.

Turns out, despite the weird look from the lady they rented their skates from, it was open, even though no one else was there.

Harry slid out onto the ice easily, immediately feeling at home.

Draco almost fell on his face immediately.

"Shut up," he grumbled, as Harry laughed and helped him up with a gloved hand.

"Just hold my hand, idiot," Harry said, ignoring the fluttery feeling in his stomach when Draco did just that.

Draco slowly got used to the ice, and Harry was sure he could skate on his own, but neither of them let go of the other's hand.

"Who's coming to the competition?" Draco asked.

"Well, me, Cedric, and Fleur are competing. Bill, Gabrielle, and Fleur's parents are coming to cheer on Fleur. Cho, Amos, and a few of Cedric's friends are coming to cheer him on. And Hermione, Ron, and you and your friends are coming. Luna, Viktor, and Neville, as well as the other competitors from the semi-finals are coming too, plus all the fans."

"Can Theo come too? He asked, but I said I would have to check with you."

Harry ignored the pit in his stomach. "Yeah, of course."

They skated for a minute, before Harry spoke again.

"What's up with you and Theo?"

Draco stopped skating. "What do you mean?"

"Are you dating?"

"Not really. Why?"

"What do you mean, not really?" Harry was aware that his voice sounded irritated, but he couldn't help it.

"I mean, we flirt around a bit and like to make people think we're a couple and we've kissed a bit, but it's all in good fun. Why? What's wrong?"

"You like making people think you're a couple?" Harry's voice was rising slightly. "That's stupid."

"Why does it matter to you what Theo and I do?" Draco asked, his voice now starting to raise as well. He let go of Harry's hand.

"It doesn't!"

"Then why are you yelling at me?"

"Because it's stupid that you two are so flirty with each other! Why don't you fucking sleep with him already? You're halfway fucking there!" Harry wasn't even fully sure why he was angry now, but he was yelling and he couldn't stop.

"What is your fucking problem?" Draco yelled back.

"There's no fucking problem! Just keep slutting it up with Theo!"

Draco's face turned white. "What me and Theo do is none of your fucking business, and you're being an asshole."

"I'm the asshole? You were the one who invited me out for ice cream and ignored me for your little slut half the time!" Harry's heart was beating too fast, his anxiety levels too high, his breathing too rapid.

"I don't need to fucking hear this. Have fun at your fucking competition, because I won't fucking be there. I hope you fucking lose," Draco said coldly, skating off towards the exit.

And Harry was left alone in the middle of the skating rink, having an anxiety attack and realizing far too late that he had ruined everything.
