Dumbledore must've been high when he had this idea all those years back. Now he's just crazy.

You see, while the marauders attended Hogwarts, during their 6th year to be exact, Dumbledore had an idea to pair up different students and make them perform in front of the school. Or else one months detention for not being fun.

Mcgonagall didn't like this idea. Although when it came to the students perform, she did laugh and enjoy the show here and there.

Now it was present time.

Dumbledore made all the students to come down to the great hall to explain this event taking place.

"An event by the end of next week will take place. In these dark times, we must be the light to brighten it up. I will select students to perform in pairs. You can perform anything from singing, to comedy." Dumbledore said but Mcgonagall stepped in. "It must be appropriate." She said but Dumbledore didn't seem to bother with it.

"Yes right, it must be appropriate. If there is a reason you aren't able to perform, you can explain to professor Mcgonagall or myself. You will be paired up with someone in the same year as yourself. Shall we begin?" Dumbledore said.

He began. He'd finally gotten to the 6th years.

"Ms.Granger and Ms.Parkinson
Mr.Weasley and Ms.Brown (sorry for making it them two XD)
Mr.Thomas and Mr.Finnigan
Mr.Zambini and Mr.Longbottom
Mr.Goyle and Mr.Crabbe
Mr.Potter and Mr.Mafloy."

Draco and Harry had stopped listening when their names were said together. Harry and Draco looked up to make eye contact for a few seconds. Both had smiles on their faces.

You see Harry and Draco had been dating for three years, and they've been able to keep it a secret that long. Only a few knew about their relationship.

Hermione, Pansy and Ginny had come up with a 'ship' name, as they said, and it was Drarry. Hermione and Ginny thought Harco was good but Pansy said it should be drarry because Draco is an obvious top and Ginny and Hermione went along with it.

After Dumbledore dismissed them, Harry and Draco sneaked off to the astronomy tower to talk.

"So I don't have any talents, what're we going to do?" Draco asked. "I thought you said you knew how to play the piano." Harry said looking up at Draco.

"I said I'm taking lessons, I never said if I was good or not." Draco stated. "Oh okay. Can you sing?" Harry asked. "I can sing but I don't know if I'm good. I don't rank myself when it comes to talents." Draco said scratching the back of his neck.

"Let me hear you sing." Harry said sitting up straight.

Draco choked on air. "No, no way. I've never- no no no." Draco said. "Why not? I won't judge you. I'm sure you'll sound great." Harry said kissing Draco's cheek.

"What do you want me to sing?" Draco asked. "Any song you know." Harry said smiling with encouragement.

Draco bit his lip and sighed. "Fine." He said. He cleared his throat and breathed in and out.

"Isn't he lovely.
Isn't he precious." Draco stopped.

One because he didn't know the rest, that's all he heard from Hermione. And two because Harry was starring at him with his hands covering his mouth.

"Are you trying not to laugh or..?" Draco asked. Harry removed his hands from his mouth ad smiled brightly at Draco.

"You have such great talent!!" He squealed. "Shh people will hear you!" Draco said laughing a bit. "Who cares, your voice sounds like an angels voice." Harry said.

"So you're saying I sounds like Castiel if he were to sing?" Draco asked. "No, you know what I mean." Harry said smiling.

"And Castiel had sung before. Remember season 9 episode 6 when he sang a lullaby." Harry said smiling.

"Yeah but his voice is rough, like deep. So is my voice deep?" Draco asked. "Um, like in between high and deep?" Harry said. "I don't know how to describe voices."Harry said.

"But you just said I sound like an angel, that's technically describing a voice." Draco said. "Yeah whatever." Harry said crossing his arm and pouting.

Draco smiled and attacked him with a hug. Not a jug, a hug. Fuck you autocorrect! Sorry, carry on.

"So what're we going to perform?" Draco asked. "I know a song but I don't know if you'll want to do it." Harry said smiling. "I'll decided after you tell me." Draco said.

"Okay, it's called Secret Love Song by Little Mix." Harry said. "Oh. Isn't it like about a relationship that's kept hiding and not being able to be open about it?" Draco asked.

"Yeah." Harry said. "Oh well I personally think it could be a Larry song. But that's my opinion, don't say anything mean about mah ship in the comments, anti-Larry shippers." Draco said, as if he were looking at a camera.

"Um okay... Anyway we can change the song, any song you like I'll go with it." Harry said. "No, I like it. I think it's time people know about us." Draco said kissing Harry's forehead.

"Draco don't do that, I'm sweating." Harry said whining. "You're right, I shouldn't do that when you're all sweaty. Yuck!" Draco said, trying to sound serious. Harry laughed.

"Are you sure you want people to know about us? I mean with what's going on this year, I just want to make sure you're okay with it." Harry said.

"I'm okay with it. Nothing can stop me from being with you." Draco said smiling down at Harry.

And so they went with that song. For the next week, the students who were participating, practiced in their free time. Pansy and Hermione were going to perform Don't Rain On My Parade by Barbara Streisand, who sang it on the Broadway show Funny Girl. Hermione wanted to do Dan's diss track but Pansy and Ron said no because many students don't know him although Draco was onboard with the idea.

Ron was forced to sing with Lavender, A Thousand Years by Christina Perry. Ron looked so miserable practicing. He wanted to drop out of the 'talent show' but the author didn't let him because she wanted to readers to imagine Lavender singing with her 'Won-Won'

Luna and Ginny are going to perform a dance that Luna created. Seeing Ginny trying to dance the routine Luna came up with made Ron cry from laughter.

By the end of the week, everyone, well about everyone, was ready to perform.

Dumbledore decided to pick a piece of paper from a hat and whoever came up had to perform. Poor Neville had to perform first, although Blaise helped him ignore the crowed. They performed a song, but not singing it, with instruments.

Many pure blood students  performed piano, violin, and cello. Some of the half-blood students performed singing while playing an instrument, let's just say some weren't as great as they thought. Some of the muggle-born students performed acts like karate, dance, and "magic" or magic without using actual magic. Many students were surprised and clapped and asked to be taught.

When Pansy and Hermione performed, everyone showed a bit more respect toward Hermione as she hit the high notes. Both girls got much applause and whistles from boys and some girls ;D

Ginny and Luna had some great response from their 'weird dance' as Ron called it, Draco said it looked like a summoning ritual and Harry thought he heard Neville say they looked possessed. Blaise said they would make a cute couple, Pansy and Hermione agreed.

Lavender and Ron were next. After they had finished, Harry laughed harder when he saw Mcgonagall laugh and as Dumbledore said, "Great to see we have some comedians in this school."

Draco and Harry were called next.

Draco sighed and smiled at Harry. They were sat apart, Draco with the girls and Harry with the boys. (Girls and Draco were shipping people who performed and Harry and the guys laughed and made jokes)

They walked to the stage and Draco felt nervous  as the other students looked at them with looks like they were going to wrestle.

Harry adjusted his mic and looked at Draco then at Hermione. She nodded and played the song, then rushed to the others.

Harry:

The song finished and Draco looked at Draco. Harry looked at him like he was so in love. Well he was in love, but now he was like more in love than he was.

Draco looked at the students. They were quite. Draco got nervous and looked at Harry worriedly.

One students got up and looked at his friend. He took out 2 galleons. "That's love bïtch." The girl whispered loudly.

Mcgonagall and Severus looked at professor Flitwick, smirks on their faces. Professor Flitwick mumbled something about how he thought Ms.Weasley and Mr.Potter were to end up together.

Hermione noticed the awkward tension and started clapping along with the others. Soon everyone was clapping and Draco and Harry walked off the stage, holding hands.

"That was terrifying." Draco said. "I could do it again, if I wanted to." Harry said smiling. "Not me." Draco said. Harry smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I love you." Harry said
"I love you too." Draco said picking Harry up and kissing him.

"Mah otp kissing." Pansy and Hermione said laughing.

Draco and Harry pulled away and smiled.

"Harry," Draco said.
"Yeah?" Harry asked smiling.
"You have a bugger." Draco said, trying to look serious.

"You ruined the moment." Harry said pouting. "So? You have a bugger, it's better I point it out instead of someone else." Draco said.

"Fine I'll go blow my nose. Love you." He said once again. "Love you too." Draco said letting Harry go.
