Draco's P.O.V

I have come to realize that I, Draco Lucious Malloy, like likes Harry James Potter. Now that it's out of way, I can ask him to be my date for the New Years Ball that's coming up. Maybe he'll say yes! Who am I kidding he's going to say no and laugh in my face and so I won't ask him. I'll go with Pansy, as friends obviously because we're both super gay.

It's 9 in the afternoon and Draco's mind was open to any made up idea of Harry and him ever being something. He accepted the fact that he was gay, he accepted the fact he liked Harry Potter but he couldn't accept the concept of any chance ever being an item with Harry. He wished Harry could be his, that they could hold hands and be happy together but he knew no one would accept it. He knew Harry wouldn't feel the same. That crushed his soul.

Harry's P.O.V ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ Random p.o.v switch just cause☆

Here I sit by the window as the snow fell from the sky. New Years was near and Dumbledore decided to have a New Years Eve Ball since a majority of the kids stayed. Among them was Draco Malfoy, that boy made me question my sexuality. When we came back for our third year at Hogwarts it was obvious puberty hit Draco, and it's still working with him.

He was taller than me and whenever he got close to me like, like inches apart, my knees went weak and I felt vulnerable but I obviously made sure it wasn't obvious. I wouldn't say I like liked Draco, well I'm not sure. I've never felt this way really.

I mean Cho Chang is pretty and all that but she doesn't make my knees go weak or give me butterflies like Draco. I thought I liked Cho, I mean I admire the fact she's pretty. I'm not even sure if I like her! I just say I do because I'm not sure how Ron and Hermione would act if I happen to be something other than straight!

Maybe I'm bisexual, or gay. Girls don't really interest me as much, I mean I'll call them pretty but it's a compliment that shouldn't make other people overthink my sexuality other me.

I'm not sure but one thing I do know is I like Draco. Maybe I like him for now and later in life I'll find someone else, but for now I like Draco because why not? We're young and anything could happen.

I like him but I can't ask him to the dance. My friends will disapproved , the school will judge. Plus he's straight! I'll just give him something to use against me if I ask him to the ball.

Harry walked down the hall alone. Hermione and Ron stayed back helping Professor Flitwick with the mess they made. Harry headed to the great hall when he bumped into someone. That someone being Cho Chang.

"Oh sorry Cho, I wasn't looking at where I was going." Harry said adjusting his glasses. She smiled. "It's alright Harry, so do you have a date for the New Years Eve Ball?" Cho asked giving him a flirty smile. "Uh no actually, do you?" Harry said.

"No, I was going to go with Cedric but he told me he had feelings for someone on the other team and now I have no one which isn't fair but it's whatever." Cho said pouting and giving Harry a look that said 'ask me now.' "Oh, then would you like to be my date for the ball?" Harry asked and Cho smiled.

"Oh Harry I would love too!" Cho said happily.

In the background Draco whispered to Pansy, "And I would love to murder her." But no one other than Pansy heard. "Now now Draco calm down; someone could hear you, and we don't want witnesses." Pansy said.

*NEW YEARS EVE BALL* *TIME SKIP*(^з^)-☆

The ball had begun and anyone with a date was on the dance floor dancing with their partner. Cho and Harry were dancing, Draco and Pansy a few feet away from them. Cho had her head rested on Harry's shoulder and she was giving any girl that looked their way a bitchy smile.

Draco was 99.9% ready to explode. He easily got jealous and with Cho acting like a spoiled little kid showing of her toy pissed Draco off. Now Draco has never seen Cho act this way but when he made eye contact with her, she threw him a look of disgust and tightened her grip of Harry and stuck her tongue out.

She was being childish and Draco was annoyed. He let go of Pansy, excused himself and marched towards the great halls doors. He shoved anyone that got in his way, with his shoulder, and that included Cho. He didn't want to shove her like that but she was in the way. Draco is a gentleman he knows better, he learned everything from his parents of course.

"Wow, drama queen. He's making a scene! And he pushed me! Harry do something to defend me." Cho said. Harry looked at her like she was mad but went after Draco, not for Cho but to see how he was feeling.

"Malfoy! Hold up!" Harry said once out of the great hall. He quickly caught up to Draco who was running, "Malfoy!" Harry said and grabbed his hands making him stop.

"Don't touch me Potter!" Draco said, but he didn't pull his hand away. Harry didn't let go scared Draco would run away and he didn't want to run with the shoes he was wearing.

"Why did you run off? Why'd you make a scene? Why are your cheeks red, you didn't even run that much and you can't be so mad to have your cheeks that color." Harry said.

'You git you're holding my hand why else would my cheeks be red!' Draco thought.

"It's non of your business and I did not make a scene!" Draco answered. "It is my business because you pushed my date, and...." Harry didn't finish. "And what Potter? And if you're here just to make me apologize to Cho then forget it and go back to her." Draco said, his tone full of anger and regret.

"Why are you mad at her anyways? What did she do to you?" Harry kept asking question which made Draco feel worse because he knew he would accidentally confess his feelings for Harry to Harry.

"I'm not telling you anything! I shouldn't have to answer your stupid questions." Draco said.

"I'm asking politely."
"No you're not!"
"Am too!"
"Are not!"
"Stop screaming at me!"
"You started it!"
"You're the one who ran away!"
"You're the one who followed me!"
"Shut up!"
"You shut up!"
"Kiss me you fool!"

Harry's eye widened at what he said. Draco opened his mouth to say something but closed it. Harry let go of Draco's hand and began to walk away. Draco blinked a few times before he grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him back and kissed him.

Harry was shocked at Draco's action but kissed back. Once Draco pulled away, he began to laugh.

"W-what's so funny?" Harry asked, he felt his heart ache. "I thought I was going to be the one to accidentally confess my feelings... Thanks for taking one for the team." Draco said once he stopped laughing.

Harry felt reassured and laughed. "I-is that why you stormed out and made a fuss? Where you jealous of Cho and I dancing?" Harry asked, a smirk plastered on his face. "Yes, but I mean she was acting like a bitch! She kept making faces at any girl that looked at you. She was acting like she owned you!" Draco said.

"Oh well don't worry she's barking up the wrong tree." Harry said chuckling. He grabbed Draco's hand. "Let's go back, I'm sure she'll understand if I say you're my new date." Harry said giving him a giant smile. "What about everyone else? Won't they say something?" Draco asked. "Nah, I mean no one said or did anything when Cedric and his date were dancing." Harry reassured him.

"The hot ones are always gay." Draco said. "They sure are." Harry said looking at Draco.

They headed back to the great hall and joined the dancing teens. Let's just say Cho didn't take it well and made a scene before McGonogall escorted her out, not before smiling at the two boys and whispering to them "If only people were as brave as you four." She said before pointing at Neville and Blaise who were trying to act like they didn't like each other but failed. Cedric and Fred smiled (idk just go with it(^з^)-☆) and so did Draco and Harry.
