It was the summer before Draco went back to Hogwarts for his 3rd year. It was the second week of summer and Draco was lonely. Well he felt lonely, he only talked to Dobby and his mum but he started to lock himself in his room.

Narcissa started to notice Draco's change. One day while she was helping Dobby with the laundry, one of Draco's bed sheet had blood on his. Narcissa was worried that Draco might be hurting himself. So one night after dinner she talked to Lucius.

"Lucius I think Draco needs someone in the house for him, maybe we should adopt a boy. Someone that could be his age?" Narcissa said. Lucius looked at her. "Why would he need someone in the house for him?" He asked. "I-I think he might be hurting himself." Narcissa said.

Lucius looked at her, "What makes you think that?" He asked. "His bed sheets, they had blood, he locks himself in his room all the time." Narcissa said looking at her husband. "If it'll make him happy then sure." Lucius said helping clean the plates.

The next day Narcissa and Lucius left Draco home alone, and hid all sharp objects and made sure that the house elfs  kept an eye on him. They didn't know much about the muggle world but decided to go and find an adoption center.

At the moment they were close walking by Privet Drive. Close to Harry's aunt and uncles house. At the Dursleys home, Petunia had Harry out used doing gardening work. "May I get some water?" Harry asked his aunt when she came outside.

"Have you finished all your work? Did you finish moving the land, it doesn't look like it! Keep working or you won't get fed tonight!" She said. Harry groaned and rolled his eyes. He went back to work. "You ungrateful brat! Don't you dare roll your eyes at me or complain! We could drop you off at an orphanage if we want to! No dinner tonight!" Petunia said glaring at Harry.

Narcissa, who was close by, heard Petunia. She hated when adults talked to kids like that, it made her sick.  She didn't care if it seemed "savage" but nonetheless she walked up to Petunia.

"Excuse me but you have NO right to talk to this child like that!" Narcissa said. Harry looked at her, 'Is she crazy? Aunt Petunia will go mad!' Harry thought.

"Who are you to tell me what not to say to this ungrateful child?!" Petunia said. Narcissa looked at the boy, and her eyes widened. "Harry Potter?!" Narcissa said. She walked to Harry and looked at him.

"You'll be perfect! Draco talks about you all the time when we talk." Narcissa said cleaning some dirt off his face.

"Harry dear get your stuff, I'm taking you away from this awful lady!" Narcissa said looking at Petunia. "Take him! He'll be back by the end of the week!" Petunia said chuckling. Harry walked inside and quickly got his stuff.

When Harry got back outside, he saw Narcissa slap Petunia. She looked at Harry and smiled, "Let's get you away from this awful lady." Narcissa said and took Harry away from the Dursleys home.

When they got to were Lucius said, he was petting a dog. "We should get a dog." Lucius said. He looked at Narcissa and noticed Harry next to her.

"He'll be perfect for Draco." Narcissa said. Lucius smiled at Harry. "Well then, can we still get a puppy?" Lucius said before walking away with the two and away from the muggles to apparate to Malfoy Manor.
