Day after
I woke up to an empty bed.
He went home already?
I got out of bed and put on some pj-trousers, and went out to get some breakfast.
"You're finally up." I hear his voice.
"Yeah..." I yawned.
"I made breakfast half an hour ago. I was hungry. There's some pancakes on the counter for you." He was sitting on my sofa, reading a book.
"Thanks." I smiled tired.
I took some tea Draco had already and put syrup on the pancakes, before I moved over to the table to eat.
"You're rather dead in the morning." Draco chuckled.
"I'm worse on work-days." I ate. "You're a great chief."
"Thanks..." he stood up and sat down across from me. "When are work-days?"
"Monday to Friday. And some paper work I have to do ever Saturday. I'm usually done by 1 or 2 pm. Weekdays, however, is 8 am to 4 pm..."
"When do you leave?" Draco asked.
"around a minute before." I chuckled. "What time is it?"
"12.30." Draco smiled.
"That's later than usual..." I noted myself.
Draco was about to say something when it knocked on the door. "Well, your place, you open the door." He ended up saying instead.
"Right..."
I got up slowly and went over to the door.
I opened it to see... Ron... and Hermione."
"MATE!" Ron yelled. "I told you to owl me when you woke up."
"I just woke up." I grumbled.
"What?" Hermione asked. "When did you get back yesterday?"
"I don't know." I shrugged.
"Cane we come in?" She asked unsure. "Or are your visitor still here."
"Still here."
"The masked stripper?" Ron asked.
"I guess so."
"We have to meet him." They said in unison, and walked past me.
I sighed heavily and closed the door behind them.
I haven't had my tea yet... I'm still tired.
"Ferret?" Ron asked after a long silence.
"Weasel." I heard Draco say back with no liveliness.
Ron turned to me. "Him?"
"Technically, it's your fault." I sat down again, and continued to eat.
"B-but Harry-"
"Ron, it's no use." Hermione said disapproving. I felt myself fear what she would say. "You can clearly see he hasn't had his tea yet."
I turned to see her grinning.
I smiled tiredly and started sipping it. "Camomile?" I asked Draco.
He nodded.
He wasn't looking at the other two, not that I care. He's never really been on speaking terms with them, and now many years later, it makes sense it was a little awkward.
Hermione and Ron sat down. I ate in silence, and drank my tea.
"Now, awake?" Hermione asked after a few minutes.
"Think so..." I mumbled.
I looked up at Draco. He was afraid, and nervous, and tense... Hermione was just curious and, not angry, just... disappointed. Ron was a big questionmark.
"This is usual?" Draco asked. I sent him an asking look. "Nothing important before tea?"
"Quite." Hermione answered for him. "It's more of, you won't get any answer before he can actually register the question, and by then, he's forgotten the question. Always, tea first."
Draco snorted and looked at me. I just shrugged. If it's true, why say anything on it?
"So," Hermione began. "How?"
"Ron took me out for the night. Stripper club, because that would be a good idea." I started to explain. "he recognized me, took me backstage. We talked for a bit, and here we are now."
"YEAH!" Ron called out. "Why were you at a muggle, stripper club? On stage!"
Hermione looked confused at her husband, before she looked over at us.
Draco sighed. "I moved to the muggle world when I got my wand back. Lived there since. And I work at the club."
"Why?" Hermione asked. "You're loaded."
"Not with muggle-money. Strange things, I tell you." Draco looked at me. He was so nervous. You could see it in his eyes. I sent a reassuring look. "Anyway, living in a muggle apartment desires muggle payment. Maybe the day will come when I'm welcomed back in the wizarding world, and I'll use my inheritance to buy a manor or something."
It was a weird silence over the room. Like no one knew what they should say, and no one wanted to sat the wrong thing.
"It was news for him that I was gay." I ended up saying. Ron's head shot towards me quicker than even Hermione's. "He doesn't get the prophet."
"Damn..." Ron looked at Draco, who kept his eyes at me. "How do you survive in the muggle world?"
"It was hard at the beginning..." Draco admitted. "But then I found the job, and it was quite alright. Most annoying thing, though. No pets! I had to give up my owl..."
"Most muggle apartments have a no pet-rule. Get your own house." Hermione shrugged.
"The job doesn't pay that good." Draco looked at her smug. "How's being the minister of magic going?"
"Stressful." Hermione let her shoulders go. Great sign. "Thanks for asking, though."
"Hey, she's mine." Ron pointed to Draco.
"And he-" Draco pointed to me, "is mine."
I felt a blush show, and I shook my head. "Nah."
"What do you mean, nah?!" Draco sat back. Overdramatically. "That was the deal!" He took his hand to his chest, faking being hurt.
"Deal?" Ron asked.
"Deal." Draco agreed. "Sex for a-"
"I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!" he stopped him. Draco smirked.
"Sex for?" Hermione asked, gesturing him to continue.
"For a real relationship." Draco smiled proudly. "Apparently not." He looked at me.
Hermione began to laugh. So did I. His face... so dramatic, so fake-hurt, so offended.
"Okay, okay." I put my hands up in defence. "Deal's a deal."
"Dickhead." Draco muttered, but he couldn't hide his smirk for longer.
"That's what you wanted last night, yeah." I commented.
Ron chocked, and Hermione laughed at both the comment and her husband's reaction.
"And what about my tights?" Draco grinned.
"Sexiest thing to sexist." I commented indifferent.
"Just... stop..." Ron looked down.
"Fine." Draco grinned. "Just for now. Afterwards, all the things I'm gonna do to yo-"
"ANYWAY!" Ron called in. "How serious is this?"
I looked over at Draco. He gave me the same expression.
"I don't know yet." I finally answered. "I guess... getting there, is the best way to explain it?" Draco nodded slowly.
I looked towards my friends. I had no idea. I really want this to be serious. Him and I. Maybe as far as marriage? Who knows, maybe one day.
"Invite us to the wedding." Ron smiled. "Dips on being the best man."
I smiled widely. So did Draco.
"Now, shoo!" Draco stood up.
"What?" Hermione laughed at his rush.
"I've been horny since almost 8 o'clock! And when he's finally awake, you come!" Draco complained. "Shoo!"
Ron stood up quickly, Hermione was just laughing.
"I'm serious!" Draco looked at her. "I have to work in a few hours, and I want him for myself for a bit!"
"Alright, alright." Hermione finally stood up.
I walked them to the door. "Dinner on Tuesday?" I asked.
"Like usual." She smiled. "Have fun."
Ron chocked again. "Y-yeah..."
"Thanks." I grinned. "See ya."
"See ya." Rn patted my shoulder.
I closed the door after them, and went into the living room. Where I was soon attached by a wild ferret.
A wild and horny ferret.
"You dare keep me wait..." He mumbled.
"I'm all yours now."
"Good."
