Move on
What if Ron and Hermione had dated but they have broke up .
Hermione Granger sat at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of her friends. She had just returned from the library, where she had spent the better part of the evening doing research for her upcoming exams.
As she looked around, she noticed that Ron was seated at the Slytherin table, his eyes fixed on her. She felt a pang of guilt as she realized that she had been avoiding him since they had returned to Hogwarts for their final year.
Hermione and Ron had dated briefly during their sixth year, but they had broken up before the start of their seventh year. Hermione had thought that Ron was the one for her, but as time went on, she began to realize that she had feelings for someone else.
That someone else was none other than Draco Malfoy, the former Slytherin prince. Hermione had been surprised to find herself attracted to him, but she couldn't deny the way her heart raced whenever he was near.
Despite her feelings for Draco, Hermione couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness as she looked at Ron. She knew that he still had feelings for her, and she didn't want to hurt him any more than she already had.
As she was lost in thought, Hermione felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Draco standing behind her, a small smile on his lips.
"Hey," he said softly. "What are you thinking about?"
Hermione looked up at him, her eyes meeting his. "Just... thinking," she said, her voice trailing off.
Draco took a seat next to her, his hand reaching out to take hers. "Is everything okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
Hermione took a deep breath, her eyes flickering over to where Ron was still watching her. "It's just... Ron," she said quietly. "I know he still has feelings for me, and I don't want to hurt him."
Draco squeezed her hand gently. "I know," he said. "But you can't live your life for someone else. You have to do what's best for you."
Hermione nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "You're right," she said. "I just... I don't want to lose him as a friend."
Draco leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear. "You won't," he whispered. "I promise."
Hermione felt a shiver run down her spine at the feel of his breath against her skin. She turned to look at him, her eyes locking with his.
In that moment, Hermione knew that she had made the right choice. She may not have known what the future held, but she was willing to take a chance on Draco, even if it meant losing Ron.
As they sat there, hand in hand, Hermione realized that she had never felt more alive. With Draco by her side, she knew that anything was possible.
