Hermione decided to kiss Draco in front of everyone.

Hermione had been in love with Draco for what felt like forever. She knew that he didn't reciprocate the feelings, but she couldn't help how she felt. They had been spending a lot of time together lately, studying in the library and even sneaking off to explore the Forbidden Forest. The more they spent time together, the more she fell for him.

One day, they were sitting in the Great Hall having lunch when Hermione just couldn't take it anymore. She stood up, walked around the table, and planted a big kiss on Draco's lips. Everyone in the Great Hall went dead silent.

Ron was grossed out, Harry was in shock, and Snape was smirking to himself, thinking finally, Dramione.

Draco was clearly taken aback by Hermione's sudden display of affection, but as he looked around at the reactions of the people in the Great Hall, he realized that he didn't really care. He kissed her back, and the two of them stayed like that for what felt like an eternity.

After a minute or so, Hermione pulled away, blushing and looking down at the ground. A small smile played on Draco's lips. He reached out and took her hand, squeezing it gently.

Ron and Harry were both staring at the couple, their mouths agape. They couldn't believe what they had just witnessed.

As everyone began to get back to their meals and conversations, Hermione and Draco sat back down at the table, still holding hands. Nobody said anything for a few moments, until Ron finally spoke up.

"What the hell was that?" he asked, an incredulous look on his face.

Hermione just shrugged, still looking down at the table. Draco didn't say anything either, but he looked at her with a soft expression.

From that day on, Hermione and Draco were a couple. They didn't flaunt it in front of everyone, but they didn't hide it either. Ron and Harry slowly got used to the idea, and they came to see that Hermione and Draco were actually quite good for each other.

Snape, of course, had known all along that there was something brewing between the two of them. He had a soft spot for the couple, and he was happy to see them finally together.

As the years went by, Hermione and Draco graduated from Hogwarts and moved on with their lives. They went on to have a beautiful family and successful careers, but they never forgot the moment that brought.
