Feelings
What if Draco told Hermione that he likes her.
Hermione Granger strode down the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with her head held high. She had just aced her latest round of exams, and was feeling confident and accomplished. As she rounded the corner, however, she was met with the last person she wanted to see: Draco Malfoy.
"Granger," sneered Malfoy, smirking at her. "What brings you to this side of the castle?"
Hermione bristled at the sight of him, but refused to let him get the best of her. "Just finishing up some studying," she replied coolly, trying her best to ignore the way her heart fluttered in her chest at the sight of him.
Malfoy raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by her response. "Studying? That's not like you, Granger. I thought you'd be off bossing around the first years or something."
Hermione rolled her eyes, but found herself smiling despite herself. "I'm not the same girl I was in first year, Malfoy. I've grown up a bit since then."
Malfoy leaned against the wall, his eyes never leaving hers. "I've noticed," he said softly, and Hermione felt her cheeks grow warm.
For years, Hermione had despised Draco Malfoy. He had been nothing but a thorn in her side since the first day they met. But over time, something had shifted between them. They had started to see each other in a different light, and Hermione found herself drawn to him in a way she couldn't explain.
As they stood there in the hallway, locked in a silent battle of wills, Hermione felt a surge of electricity pass between them. She knew then that something was about to change.
The next day, Hermione found herself sitting in the library, trying to focus on her studies. But every time she tried to concentrate, her mind kept drifting back to Malfoy. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen between them.
Suddenly, she heard a rustling sound behind her, and turned around to see Malfoy walking towards her. "Can I sit?" he asked, gesturing to the empty chair across from her.
Hermione hesitated for a moment, but then nodded. "Sure," she said, feeling her heart rate pick up as he took a seat.
For a few moments, they sat in silence, neither of them knowing what to say. But then Malfoy spoke up.
"I know we've had our differences," he began, his voice low and hesitant. "But I can't help feeling like there's something between us."
Hermione's breath caught in her throat. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Malfoy leaned forward, his eyes fixed on hers. "I mean," he said softly, "that I can't stop thinking about you. And I don't think I want to."
Hermione felt a wave of emotion wash over her. She had never imagined that Malfoy could feel the same way she did. But as he leaned in to kiss her, all of her doubts melted away.
For the rest of their time at Hogwarts, Hermione and Malfoy were inseparable. They spent their days studying together, exploring the castle, and sneaking kisses in hidden corners. And as they graduated and went their separate ways, they knew that they had found something special.
