to keep it short: we met up in the park, ate ramen in a convenience store (i was craving them so bad), took cute couple photos together and were evil together

jaemin chuckled amusedly at the nickname yejoon had given him as he jumped off his bed, getting ready for their meet up.

excitement was written on his face as he opened his closet, thinking about what he should wear for the hang out.

the pink haired boy arrived in the shopping center on time unlike his friend who hadn't showed up yet.

therefore, the male junior decided to play subway surfers on his phone to kill some time.

jaemin had almost surpassed his personal highscore when his friend appeared out of nowhere. the latter jumped on him from the back, disrupting his flow.

"yo 'sup cotton candy boy", yejoon greeted happily, wearing a cheekily smirk on his lips. he had intended to startle him but ended up breaking his smooth streak.

jaemin pouted sulking and stared sadly at his phone. "damn, i have almost topped my highscore... you ruined my streak", he expressed in disappointment, heaving a loud sigh.

the sophomore giggled but earned a glare from the pink haired male. "sorry, i didn't mean to ruin it."

"save your excuses", jaemin commented and rolled his eyes after sliding his phone in his pocket.

"took you long enough to arrive and now you ruined my streak, huh? i need a refund for your cheeky behaviour", he complained and shook his head, hearing chuckles from his friend.

"alright, you got me there. i owe you something", yejoon gave in and raised his hands in defense, grinning amusedly.

"holy crap, i will never say that again that i owe you something", the brown curly haired boy expressed regretfully and let out a loud sigh, staying in the fitting room and refusing to leave it.

jaemin chuckled in delight, a mischievous smirk graced his lips as he sat outside on a couch, waiting for his friend to exit the changing room.

his hand was lifted up, holding his phone while the camera pointed to the fitting room in which yejoon hid. the pink haired boy was recording the moment and couldn't wait anymore for his friend to show up.

"aw, come on! it's not that bad, believe me! show me your beautiful outfit", jaemin enouraged grinning, however, he heard protests and complaints coming from the curly brown haired boy.

"nah-uh. i refuse to leave the fitting room when i have to wear this! why did you make me wear that ugly stuff?", yejoon whined and sighed dramatically again.

"you said it yourself that you owe me something. that's not my problem", the pink haired male reminded him as his grin grew wider.

"yejoon sweetheart, no need to feel shy! come out now!"

"i'm gay but i guess you are already aware of that."

"not this coming out. i mean literally exiting the fitting room", the older boy laughed as he didn't expect this answer of yejoon.

the latter sighed once again, knowing that procastinating wouldn't help him at all.

"fine", the sophomore gave in and hesitated for a moment before pushing the curtains beside and exiting the fitting room, revealing his outfit chosen by jaemin.

the pink haired boy bursted out in laughter, feeling as he would lose his lungs from laughing again. "oh my god, i can't-", jaemin wheezed while filming him.

yejoon sighed loudly as he stared at himself in a mirror nearby. "how the fuck did you find this tiny fairy outfit? i don't even fit in there, it's too small!", he complained and looked down on the pink, tight dress he was wearing.

"don't question my powers", jaemin answered giggling as he enjoyed that way too much.

"now, turn around! show me your cute outfit and wings, my little fairy", the pink haired boy added mischievously as the younger male did as wished (even though he protested at first but gave up afterwards).

"brilliant job! you look majestic, fairy yejoon!", jaemin teased smirking and felt compensated.

"oh fuck off", yejoon rolled his eyes and showed his middle finger to the camera as he disappeared behind the curtains of the fitting room again.

the pink haired boy chuckled amusedly and ended the video as he rewatched it in satisfaction.

in the meanwhile, yejoon got changed into his comfortable clothes, rethinking his life decisions once again.

afterwards, he exited the fitting room and spotted a happy jaemin who was smiling brightly and giggled all by himself while watching the video.

oh, how endearing and wholesome the pink haired boy was in that moment. yejoon admired him and enjoyed the sight. seeing jaemin smile this brightly because of him made yejoon's heart warm up and feel softer for him.

the younger boy couldn't be mad at him for suggesting the ridiculous idea of him getting dressed up in a fairy outfit (which was supposed to be for kids) as compensation.

even though he felt embarrassed wearing it and made a fool out of himself, he would do it once again for jaemin.

the sweet smile on the pink haired boy's face was priceless and unforgettable. he would do this dumb action again, he would act like a fool again just to see that smile again.

however, he wouldn't admit it and act as he was upset about it.

"i feel humiliated and embarrassed, cotton candy boy", yejoon complained, dropping himself next to jaemin on the couch.

"aww, no need to my lil fairy", the older boy chuckled in amusement and ruffled softly his hair as an act of comfort, "you looked stunning, even in that fairy costume."

nevertheless, the sudden contact of his hand with his hair surprised yejoon, causing him to feel flustered for a moment. hearing his words which were filled with sincerity and a slight tone of tease let his heart race. his stomach felt twisted up as a pink tint appeared on his cheeks.

"pff, don't call me that ever again", the male sophomore commented and pretended to feel offended when in reality his heart was acting up.

"i want a little refund as well... since you have recorded me too", yejoon added with a little grin and raised his brow, crossing his arms.

jaemin was surprised of his request, however, an amused smirk graced his lips. "alright, i'm all ears", the pink haired boy complied grinning and leaned unintentionally closer to him.

as a result, yejoon was internally freaking out as the older boy looked truly attractive doing that. his playful smirk, his soft and yet appealing tone, the proximity — yejoon was the definition of gay panic right now. nonetheless, his smug grin remained on his face.

"i have an idea", the sophomore started, feeling his heart beating against his ribcage, "let's wear random, funny clothes together and take photos. i can't be the only one who has worn goofy stuff."

"if you insist, my fairy."

"oh, shut up. pinky pie."

"hey, i thought i was cotton candy boy!"

"too bad for you."

yejoon and jaemin were squeezed into one fitting room, taking photos of themselves while laughing at their ridiculous disguises.

it was the fifth outfit they had changed into and they were having way too much fun dressing themselves up and posing in their goofy outfits.

from prom dresses, to animal onesies, to mafia bosses, to random clothing item combinations (they chose the most horrifying combos) to seniors — they tried out the most random outfits one could imagine.

honestly, they enjoyed it a lot — they were feeling themselves a lot while doing that. they had probably taken hundreds of pictures of their outfits.

the two of them had laughed a lot and were having lots of fun — maybe a little too much fun and maybe their laughters were a little bit too loud.

an employee had noticed how long they kept on trying out and changing their outfits without actually buying it but just messing around.

i mean, they weren't really hiding it and didn't do the whole thing sneakily. they were not only loud and obvious but also were always switching from one to another fitting room (as they were changing their outfits in seperate cabins and gathered in one to take photos).

after one or one and a half hour, the employee approached them and kicked them out for messing around.

yejoon was ready to fight back, however, jaemin stopped him from doing that, apologized to the employee and dragged the younger boy outside.

"their clothes were ugly and expensive anyways", yejoon scoffed and gave the employee a side-eye who was watching them from afar.

"just shut up and go. i will treat you out to some pancakes", jaemin snickered and observed how the sophomore beamed at the suggestion.

"omg, yay!!", the curly brown haired male exclaimed happily as genuine joy was written on his face. that boy loved pancakes and it was such a great coincidence that the older one suggested it.

jaemin flashed him a soft smile as he tilted slightly his head. "you seem to heavily like pancakes, don't you?", he asked in a lovely voice, causing butterflies to flutter in the younger boy's stomach.

yejoon nodded in approval and glanced at the junior who looked at him with so much warmth and affection. god, the curly brown haired male felt like melting when he looked into his soft eyes.

he couldn't explain why jaemin made him feel that way, however, yejoon couldn't help but slowly realise that he might feel more than friendship.
