the halloween party had ended peacefully.

except for the parts in which everyone was extremely worried about jaemin since he got injured.

nonetheless, the pink haired boy reassured everybody that he was doing alright and just needed some rest.

yejoon gave jaemin a detailed recap about the whole story after he had calmed down from crying.

the younger boy told him that he  noticed jaemin's long and unusual absence before he had heard loud noises coming from the stairs outside — which were caused by the pink haired boy's fall.

however, the majority hadn't heard the crash since some of them were either asleep, listening to music or were deep in their conversations.

luckily, sooyun was on her way to the restroom when she had heard the loud thump coming from downstairs.

the girl headed towards there and saw jaemin lying unconsciously on the ground. she hurried to him and tried to wake him up. she wanted to question him about what happened, nonetheless, he didn't stay awake for long as he fell unconscious again.

afterwards, the blonde junior ran upstairs to get haewon and explained her the sitution in distress. the girls called the others too, causing everyone to be in shock about the news.

the group ran to the stairs and spotted jaemin lying unconsciously on the ground.

jeno and donghyuck carried him back to his bed while renjun and yejoon were worried to death, the latter shed tears as well.

everyone was concerned about the pink haired boy. his fall wasn't nothing but he was lucky enough not having broken anything.

it stays a miracle and mystery how jaemin hasn't broken anything to be honest — luck must have been on his side... more or less.

jaemin's arms and knees had bruises but he had landed 'perfectly' on the floor without getting heavily injured. except for the part in which he hit his head against the stair railing.

fortunately, his injury on his head wasn't heavy too. he didn't have any fatal brain injuries or amnesia and the bleeding had stopped by now. jaemin had just a strong headache which will be gone soon.

besides, the pink haired junior refused to visit the hospital since he felt alright and didn't feel like checking up.

that night felt extremely long for everyone. it was an unforgettable night with some twists.

the next morning, they ate breakfast together and spent some little time together before everyone headed home and thanked chenle for letting them sleep at his place.

jaemin had felt much better, nevertheless, the incident seemed too suspicious for him.

something was off.
