"i'm so pretty not gonna lie", donghyuck mentioned while looking at the mirror, scanning his blue disguise and admiring himself.

"i'm prettier bro", jaemin responded teasingly and pushed playfully his friend to the side so that he can have a glimpse of himself in the mirror.

the older one gasped loudly and gave him judgemental looks. "excuse you", he exclaimed offended and shoved him away to get his previous position in front of the mirror.

jeno had observed his younger friends who were acting like this for ten minutes. the male shook his head and let out chuckles as it was quite amusing.

"are you guys finally finished?", the boy with a black wig questioned his best friends who were matching with his costume.

"one second", donghyuck responded grinning before adjusting his blonde wig and smiling at himself. "perfect, let's get going", he suggested cheerfully and headed out first.

the three of them had gathered at jeno's place first so that they can walk together to chenle's mansion or how chenle would call his home: 'just a slighty bigger house than an average house'.

arriving at chenle's house, the host of the party had been waiting for the trio, standing in the doorframe with furrowed eyesbrows.

"there is today's youth!", he exclaimed in a changed voice. the trio bursted out in laughter as soon as they had spotted the costume of chenle.

"omg grandpa lele!!", donghyuck chuckled and hugged the boy who was disguised as an old man, pretending to be their grandfather even though he was the second youngest.

a grey wig hid his originally orange hair and the 'old man' was holding a walking stick in his hand. his clothes were old-fashioned but still fancy. chenle was not only wearing small glasses but also a warm smile.

"my beloved grandsons", he greeted softly the guests. "you all have grown so much", chenle joked and stood aside to let them in.

"we missed you, gramps", jeno played along while they entered the house and took off their shoes. "grandpa missed you too", chenle grinned amusedly and patted jeno's head.

"off topic but i LOVE your costumes", grandfather lele mentioned and pointed at the matching disguises of the trio.

"thank you! love your costume too", jaemin smiled brightly and played with his orange wig which was bound to a high ponytail.

afterwards, the host led them to the living room in which everyone had already gathered.

chattering and laughter filled the spacious room, however, as soon as the three of them (and of course chenle) entered, everyone became silent and stared at them in curiousity. they examined precisely the costumes of the trio.

jeno's blonde hair wasn't seen due to his black, shoulder-length wig. his top and mini skirt was green while a black belt was put around his waist.

meanwhile, jaemin's outfit was almost the same as his friend's — only the color of his top and skirt was red. a huge, dark red ribbon was on top of his fake, orange ponytail.

donghyuck's disguise was similiar to them as well. just the color was different from them as his clothing was blue. his purple hair was hidden under the blonde wig which was styled to two pigtails.

"oh. my. fucking. GOD.", yejoon who was wearing a grey furry jumpsuit exclaimed loudly and screeched excitedly.

jeno and hyuck positioned themselves next to jaemin, causing the (normally pink haired) boy to stand in the center among them.

the trio began to strike fancy and elegant poses while delighted grins graced their lips.

"we're the powerpuff girls!", jaemin revealed smirking and they all shone in their colorful outfits.

"YOUR COSTUMES ARE SO AWESOME OH MY—", haewon screeched happily and ran towards them, however, the girl had never reached them.

she tripped due to her costume.

her body was lying on the ground and she looked hilarious in her costume while doing so.

laughter filled the room, particularly mark's laughter was the loudest among them all.

and guess what happened now? mark was now the one who tripped due to his disguise and from laughing too hard.

the two best friends who were dressed as orange traffic cones were now lying on the floor, laughing their asses off.

the whole scene made everyone burst out in laughters. it all became a chaotic but entertaining mess.

it took them long enough to calm down. several minutes passed by when they slowly stopped breaking into laughter every two seconds.

as soon as donghyuck calmed down, he began to examine the costumes of his friends.

chenle was disguised as grandpa lele and matched with jisung who was dressed as his wife, grandma ji. thus, the youngest one's were potraying an old, married couple (ironic but iconic).

mark and haewon were large, orange traffic cones in human form and they were both truly clumsy in that disguise. they were always close to trip with every step they took.

yejoon was forced to wear a grey werwolf jumpsuit with huge furry ears. renjun was entertained by the sight of this outfit, nonetheless, he wasn't that pleasured about his own costume.

the two-toned haired boy was wearing a green, short dress which was designed with glitter. white, glamorous wings were attached on his back and his hand was holding a little magic wand. renjun was forced to dress as a fairy by yejoon but at the end, they made a deal.

last but not least, sooyun. the girl who seemed to be pure and shy had the 'scariest' disguise among them all. the blonde girl was wearing a black cape and wore a famous mask of serial killers. a fake knife kept her accompany. sooyun came dressed as ghostface from the movie scream.

"you guys have such cool disguises oh my god", hyuck stated in shock and astonishment. he started to give compliments to each costume and they all returned the lovely words.

"listen up, guys", chenle aka grandpa lele clapped his hands to grab everyone's attention.

"we have to assign the rooms so that you can store your stuff here. there are always two beds for each guest room for your information", he announced and the drama club members began to discuss about the matter.

at the end, they had come to a conclusion and solved the discussion. chenle and jisung would sleep in chenle's room together. then haewon and sooyun would be in one room together while mark and jeno would share one room. donghyuck and renjun became roommates and last but not least, jaemin and yejoon share one room.

afterwards, they headed to their assigned rooms on the first floor and put their bags and stuff there before they met downstairs, in the living room, again.

everyone brought the things with them they had promised to bring along and put them in the large living room. the snacks, drinks and games were placed on the coffee table in front of the couch while the pillows and blankets were thrown on the sofa.

"what should we do now?", sooyun asked the group after they had prepared and organised everything.

"should we go for trick or treat? it's already dark outside and i hear kids running around", mark suggested.

"great idea, grandson", grandma jisung praised and patted the head of the actual oldest of the group.

this sight was amusing and hilarious to everyone since jisung was the actual youngest but tallest among everyone and now he was acting like he was one of the oldest in the room.

"i have an idea guys", the boy in a furry suit grinned mischievously, "let's scare the kids on the streets."

"yejoon, NO", powerpuff girl nana protested, "we're not going to traumatise children."

"COME ON, JAEMIN. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF HALLOWEEN."

"yejoon, you DUMBFUCK. IT'S NOT", renjun declared tiredly and facepalmed himself.

"damn, calm down fairy of shampoo", yejoon responded jokingly and raised both his hands.

"and there is the txt reference", jeno added chuckling and received a high-five from yejoon.

"let's focus on going for trick or treat y'all", haewon mentioned when she noticed how everyone was drifting away.

"LET'S GO, CANDY HUNTERS", chenle yelled out and opened the door before he left his home, the other drama club members followed the host.
