the blond haired boy waited for his friends, standing at the campus while texting his besties that they should hurry up.

"jen!", a familiar voice called after him, resulting him to look up from his phone to meet eyes with the pink haired boy.

"there are my number one babes!", jeno commented amusedly when the two boys approached him and embraced them into a hug. hyuck giggled at the name while jaemin grinned from ear to ear.

a few moments later, the oldest among them released them and together they entered the school building.

"sooo, any updates with sooyun?", jaemin asked curiously the purple haired boy who shook his head. "still no response. she has seen my messages hours later but didn't bother to reply i guess", donghyuck informed his friends and shrugged his shoulders, trying to play it off even though his heart felt heavy for unknown reason. "kinda weird... but okay", jeno stated with a raised eyebrow. "yeah, true."

"yo, by the way, do we have any classes together today?", hyuck changed the subject, trying to ignore the wave of sadness caused by sooyun.

"yup, we have maths and physics together", jaemin answered happily despite not being keen on the subjects, however, he liked having classes together with his best friends.

unfortunately, they don't have all classes together. they've most of the classes in common, but there are some classes in which they're seperated.

"has anyone of you got maths homework? i haven't done it yet", the pink haired boy questioned and faced his friends.

"no, sorry. i was hoping that i could copy it from you guys", jeno responded while hyuck looked cluelessly and gave them an irritated glance. "we had homework?!", he asked confusedly and his eyes widened in shock.

"oh god, we're all doomed."

"no candies for today?", jisung asked sulking, the corner of his lips turned downwards when jaemin told him that he had no sweets for the homies.

"nope, not today", the pink haired guy comfirmed, leaning back on the couch. "but jeno and i have a surprise for you all", he smirked and glanced at jeno who mirrored his facial expression.

"omg, what's your surprise?", chenle beamed and sat up straight, feeling hyped and excited. "we won't tell you guys, yet", jeno grinned from ear to ear while sinking in the bean bag, hearing the younger boy sulk.

"patience, sweethearts. it's a surprise after all", jaemin smiled softly. "damn okay", the orange haired boy muttered and rested his head on his seatmate's shoulder.

"aww, you guys are so cute!", the guy with pink hair exclaimed, looking at jisung and chenle who are like his little babies (which is why he calls them sweethearts).

"when is renjun coming?", jeno asked his friend who was staring at his phone while sitting on a bean bag as well. "he must come in any minute", he responded, excitement was written on his face.

in that moment, a boy around their age entered the backstage room of the theatre hall (hyuck told him to come here and gave him instructions on how to find them in case he didn't know).

"hi, are you guys members of the drama club?", the two-toned haired boy inquired shyly, his voice sounded soft and graceful.

donghyuck looked up from his phone and met eyes with a familiar boy. "no way."

he stared at him with wide eyes and almost fell from his bean bag (only god knows how he managed that). the purple haired boy dropped his phone and his jaw, not wanting to believe it and was too stunned so speak.

renjun's eyes widened and he glanced at him in shock. his heart stopped for a moment when they faced each other. he had immediately recognized his purple hair and his face. flashbacks of the incident days ago were recalled in his head.

they shared a silence for a moment, the others witnessed silently everything and felt the tension in the room. they kept on looking between the boys who gave each others glares.

"it's you!", renjun and donghyuck said suddenly at the same time which made everything creepier.

"what the hell, they said the same thing at the same time again...", jeno whispered with widened eyes, witnessing this once again. jaemin, chenle and jisung looked confusedly at the blond haired boy, not getting what he meant.

"why you of all people??", renjun asked enraged with narrowed eyebrows. "why YOU of all people??", hyuck threw the question back and started to get annoyed and mad.

the purple haired boy stood up and slowly approached him. "you were the boy who dropped the books on my precious feet and made my flyers fly around the room", he said with greeted teeth, stopping in front him.

"excuse you but this would've never happened if you had watched out. you made me fall on the floor and didn't help me up. you owe me an apology", the two-toned haired chinese responded, eyes full of rage.

chenle and jisung gasped quietly, watching the two of them arguing. they didn't know much about the incident and they were highly invested in the drama.

"oh sorry, does a kid like you need help to get up?", hyuck tugged his lips into a sly smile and tilted his head, causing the older's anger to grow.

"oh wow, you have no manners but are only rude. it's common sense to help others up when they fall on the damn ground", renjun replied madly and stepped closer to him.

"what about you then? you didn't help me pick up all the flyers afterwards but just disappeared!", donghyuck defended, holding the intense eye contact.

"the tension between them... that's lowkey gay", chenle whispered to his seatmate, a smirk was on his lips. "wrong timing, chenle, wrong timing", jisung muttered quietly and shook his head.

"why should i help you when you didn't help me first?", the chinese could feel his blood boil because of the younger boy.

"you could've helped me too! you ruined everything and made a mess!", hyuck stated and both of them stepped closer to each other, holding the intense eye contact.

"are you blaming me for everything now? you ruined everything too! it's not only my fault, you jerk", renjun bit back, almost losing his temper.

"who are you calling a jerk??", the purple haired boy felt extremely insulted and his eyebrows decreased, then he slowly started to smirk mischievously. "you're an asshole."

the two-toned haired chinese scoffed, feeling offended. "asshole? seriously? you're the asshole here!", renjun yelled and the smirk of donghyuck made him even more pissed.

"uhm... did someone order pizza?", a manly voice interrupted the argument and drew the attention of everyone. they all looked into the direction where the voice came from.

a tall guy wore a delivery outfit with a little name tag on his shirt, revealing his name to be johnny. he was holding three boxes of pizza in his hands and confusion was written on his face when he felt the tension in this room.

the sudden encounter of the deliverer caught everyone off guard but chenle was happy about the food the guy carried. "omg jaemin and jeno, is that the surprise you guys prepared??", he questioned happily, making him forget about the fight before.

jeno and jaemin nodded irritatedly. chenle smiled brightly and made his way to the deliverer before paying for the pizza's.

"you have lost a potential member", was the last thing renjun said before giving hyuck a glare and turning around, his feet leading him out of the room.

second of all, i wanted to mention that i forgot to add some things for the story/in chapter 00.

☆ as you all might or might not know this story was not planned to be published at all but well, here we are now. the book was rather spontaneous than planned tbh oop- annieways 🚶‍♂️

thus, i haven't planned everything of the story so let's see how the storyline will develope throughout the book LMAO 😭

★ besides, i forgot to add that there might be idol x idol ships or idol x oc ships BUT i don't ship them in real life.

i do not intend to harm any idol or force them to have a specific sexuality. i really don't mean to hurt anybody and everything is made up and fictional. just to clarify!

☆ this book might contain mature topics such as bullying, violence, etc. however, i would put a triggerwarning before the chapter so that you would know if you want to skip the parts in case you feel uncomfortable reading it!!

★ furthermore, i have also realised that i didn't add any pictures for the oc's HELP 😭

okay so the actual reason why i haven't included them in the introduction chapter/chapter 00 is because i didn't want to spoil you which new characters there are.

however, i have been thinking about adding their introduction including their faceclaims in the next chapter or in chapter 00 (depending what it's better).

or do you want to wait until all characters are introduced? or do you think this introduction is unnecassary? it would be nice if you share your opinion <3
