the next school day the three of them gathered together in the theatre hall much earlier before classes started.

hyuck showed them the numerous leaflets he had printed out the previous day. "you can't believe how my printer was on the verge of dying but it was a strong soldier until the very end", he shared as he gave each of them a batch of the flyers.

"damn, we stan your printer", jeno commented with a smirk. "yeah, we do", hyuck grinned as he glanced at his work for a moment.

"anyways, i think we should seperate and go to different areas so we could reach out for more people", jaemin suggested, his friends nodded in agreement.

"i'd go to the campus if that's okay for you guys", jeno stated. "yeah, that's a great idea! there is always much going on on the campus in the morning", hyuck exclaimed happily, fond of the suggestion his friend came up.

"oh! i could go to the lobby. there i could reach out lots of people", the purple haired boy said smiling.

"awesome idea!", jaemin commented excitedly, wearing a soft smile on his lips. "well, i'd go to the corridors and ask around, is that okay?", he asked his friends who nodded in agreement.

"sounds good to me! well, let's update each other in the groupchat. meeting up at the theatre hall for lunch?", jeno questioned, looking between the two younger boys.

"yup! now we should split up before we lose time. good luck, y'all", hyuck stated, hugging his friends shortly and waving them goodbye before they went seperate ways to their areas.

hyuck was standing in the center of the lobby while several people were passing by him.

luckily, he was a sociable and talkaktive person and wasn't scared of approaching people in order to promote his club and ask them if they want to join.

unfortunately, many people declined by saying they were already in a club, were too busy or had no time being in a club, however, some students took his flyers he handed out and said they would think about it.

hyuck let out a quiet sigh, hoping that someone who was interested in drama and acting would appear.

eventually, his wish came true.

"hey, what are you handing out?" a girl approached him and pointed at the violet leaflet in his hand.

donghyuck was caught off guard for a moment as she appeared out of nowhere — at least he hadn't noticed her presence before she stood next to him and spoke to him.

her long, wavy hair was dyed blonde. her lips were painted cherry red, highlighting them and making them shiny and glamorous. her dark brown eyes made her look so sweet and so beautiful, causing hyuck's heart melt at her gaze.

something about her felt different and he couldn't tell why. she had something mesmerizing about her, something magical as she had him under her spell by just holding eye contact.

oh dear, hyuck was hella crushing on her.

"uhm, are you okay?", she asked awkwardly since he hadn't replied to her question yet. hyuck blinked a few times as he got back to reality. "oh, yeah i'm fine... i was just spacing out, sorry", he apologized smiling, he felt so idotic and embarrassed of himself.

she chuckled softly as she stared directly into his eyes again, her glance was so lovely and yet, intense.

"could you tell me more about the flyers you're carrying around?", the blonde inquired curiously with a kind smile.

hyuck nodded happily and was fond of her. she was the first person who was actually showing interest for what he'd been doing for the past half hour.

"sure! i'm promoting the drama club as we are searching for a few members to join. do you want a flyer?", he commented and raised one leaflet.

she nodded and took gratefully the violet infosheet of the club. they started to talk about the drama club, hyuck explained some things about it and she shared her interest in acting (which made the boy like her even more).

"it would be a pleasure to have you in our club, i'm sure you'd fit perfectly in our team!", he said joyfully. "i'll think about it but it'd be cool to join your club. i'll text you if i go", the girl flashed a smile once again, hyuck's heart was embraced by warmth seeing her smile.

"wait... you've my number??", the purple haired boy asked confusedly, making the girl giggle. "it's on your poster, forgot it?", she reminded him. "ohhh, yeah right. i'm such a dummy", hyuck laughed about his dumbness.

"you're such a dummy", she chuckled with a little smirk on her lips.

donghyuck's cheeks turned slightly red when she said that. god, he felt so embarrassed of himself.

"but you're a cute dummy", the girl added smiling. "anyways, i got to go now, see you around", she waved him goodbye before leaving him alone all flustered.

"she's really different", he whispered, not noticing how he smiled like a fool. hyuck stood still, his eyes following her before her figure disappeared from his sight.

just as he turned around, he bumped into a student, resulting the two of them to be in pain.

the flyers hyuck held in his hands were crashed against the unknown boy, making the latter fall on the ground and the leaflets flying around the lobby.

the books the boy held previously fell on donghyuck's feet, causing him to groan in pain and back off.

"watch out!", he yelled madly, his eyebrows narrowed while looking furiously at the boy who laid on the ground.

"excuse me, YOU should watch out where you're going!", the boy exclaimed angrily and rubbed his arm, slowly standing up from the floor and exchanging glares with him.

"your books fell on my feet and it hurts", hyuck responded offendedly. "and look at the mess you've done! all my flyers are spread across the room", he added in rage.

"you turned around without looking if someone is behind you and i literally fell on the floor which is more painful", the boy who was slightly shorter than hyuck spitted back.

"it's not my fault when you suddenly appear behind me", the purple haired boy said with gritted teeth, feeling his anger growing the longer he was around this boy.

"oh, poor you!", the boy who's lower part of his brown hair was dyed blond, basically two-toned hair, replied sarcastically.

"it's not my fault that you did not watch out and make me fall on the floor! you didn't help me up or asked me if i'm fine. that's what people with manners do", the unknown boy ranted madly.

"neither did you! you didn't ask me as well if i'm alright when your fucking heavy books fell on my feet and didn't offer your help to collect my flyers which are on the floor because of you!", donghyuck defended, stepping closer to the boy.

"why should i do that when you caused me to fall on the floor and be in pain??"

"why should i do that when your books caused me pain on my feet and made my belongings spread across the whole room??"

they gave each others glares, holding intense eye contact and before they could continue fighting, someone stepped in and prevented the argument to worsen.
