Chapter 8

"Excellent! I knew you had it in you, Cloe!" Miss Dawson shouted excitedly as I pulled away from Louis, completely breathless.

"Oh, and everyone, feel free to rehearse your parts in your free time!" She exclaimed and soon we were dismissed from our class.

Since there were only about ten weeks left until the end of the school year, and, more importantly, nine until the play, Miss Dawson decided to turn all of our Drama classes into rehearsals, which meant that the part of our class that didn't have parts didn't even have to come. Caitlyn is one of those lucky bitches, for instance.

"Hey, Lori!" I was walking down the hallway, staring at my tablet, when I heard my name being called. I rolled my eyes, knowing who it was, and turned around.

"What, Louis?" He stood in front of me, smiling, and I could practically feel the girls in the hall glare at me.

"I was thinking, you know how Dawson said we should rehearse our parts? What do you say we meet somewhere to... Rehearse." The smirk on his face made the last two words sound like a metaphor for something. And I was afraid that they just might be.

"No, Louis, there will be no need for that," I smiled politely at him before turning around. As expected, he started walking beside me.

"Come on, we need to rehearse some scenes... Like the one where I piss you off so much you start yelling at me... And I mess up my last one in German..." He said, flipping the papers, finding lines that we still weren't good enough at.

He was right. I knew Miss Dawson wouldn't get off of our backs until we'd mastered the scenes. So his idea to rehearse wasn't actually so bad.

I sighed. "Alright. But only those two scenes, I don't wanna miss the whole lunch break," I said, looking at my watch. Only five minutes have passed, no big deal.

I could see Louis grinning from the corner of my eye. "Great," He said and put the papers in his backpack.

"So, your dorm or mine?" He asked and I frowned at him. The dorms? Did we really need that much privacy?

"I was thinking somewhere on the field or something," I said clumsily, still taken aback by his suggestion.

Louis just laughed. "Come on, love, we can't rehearse in front of people. We'll look like clowns," He said with a smile on his face and I thought about it. He was quite right. And with his popularity we'd have half of the school watching us too.

"Okay, then," I sighed, defeated for the second time. "You choose whose dorm."

Louis looked at the ground, as if thinking. "Is yours empty? Or is Caitlyn up there?"

"No, she just texted me, she's with Devon."

Louis smiled at my answer. "Then your dorm it is."

I nodded in agreement. After all, I felt like I'd be more comfortable there, in my comfrot zone, and not a 21 year old guy's bachelor room.

As we made our way out of the school building, and to CW students' dorms, Louis slowly put his arm around me. First his hand was on my lower back, then my upper back, and then on my shoulder as he pulled me closer to him. Every girl on the school yard was looking at us, mostly looking unpleasantly surprised and shocked, and glaring at me.

"Do you have any idea how many of these girls are killing me in their minds?" I quietly asked Louis, looking up at him as he laughed. He was so beautiful, I can't even say hot. He's just beautiful.

"I'd like to see them come anywhere near you while I'm by your side," He said, still smiling, and I could feel my heart flutter at his words. I grinned; I couldn't control it anymore. Maybe he really wasn't the guy I thought he was. He just might be an actual sweetheart when the girl was worth it. And the thought of me being worth his protective and caring side made me melt on the inside.

We entered the building and climbed the stairs until we were on the fourth floor, where my and Caitlyn's dormitory room was.

"Where are you from?" I suddenly asked Louis, remembering that only students who lived outside of London got to live in the school dorms.

"Doncaster." He smiled at me and I raised my eyebrows. That far away?

"Where do you come from?" He then asked me, probably thinking of the same thing.

"Torpoint." I smiled, thinking of the town I grew up in. I haven't gone there ever since I moved to London because of university. I had an apartment here, that I also shared with Caitlyn, who is from Cardiff, when school was over and we couldn't stay in our dorms anymore. I made a mental note to myself to visit my parents and sisters this summer.

It was now Louis' turn to raise his eyebrows, in amusement. "Really? On the beach?" His comment made me laugh. Yes, we did have a beach about five miles away from our home.

"Not quite." I smiled as I unlocked my dorm room, letting Louis in. He looked around, interested, even though there was nothing really interesting at all. A couple of posters on Caitlyn's side, book shelves, some of my clothes on my bed-

"These yours?" Louis asked cheekily and when I turned around, I saw my lacy black panties hanging off his finger. I blushed furiously, my face probably redder than ever before in my life.

"Give me that," I muttered as he laughed his ass off. I tore the small fabric from his hand and shoved it inside my cabinet along with my other clothes, in fear he'd find more underwear.

"Alright, let's get this done," I said, trying to make him stop laughing but he couldn't seem to stop. What's so funny about a goddamn piece of underwear?

"Louis," I exclaimed and he sat on my bed, holding his head, miserably trying to stop laughing. I was slowly getting fed up with this.

"Louis!" I shouted, more serious this time. When he still didn't stop cracking up, I became pissed off; so I grabbed his wrists and tried pulling him up.

"Stop it already," I said with no sign of joking in my voice, and that's when he looked up, a smile still lingering on his lips. Though it didn't last long before it turned into a smirk. And not a smug smirk, his trademark, but a mischievous one, like he was going to do something bad. Real bad.

In a blink of an eye, I got pulled on top of Louis, and then trapped underneath him. I didn't even have time to react or try to defend myself; one moment I was standing in front of him and the next one he was on top of me. That's it.

"I don't feel like standing." He smirked at me and before I could respond, his lips were on mine. I exhaled through my nose, shocked, not knowing what to do. It all happened so quickly.

Relax love, he said. You'll get used to it.

And the weirdest thing was that I actually was getting used to it.

I slowly started kissing him back, my brain shutting itself down just as slow. As my hand rested on the back of his neck, I couldn't seem to think of anything other than Louis and how wrong he had proven me over the past week. Just last Monday he was a scumbag that I couldn't stand looking at, and now I was making out with him on my bed.

It was literally that thought that made me pull away from him. And as I did, we both started breathing heavily, neither of us noticing how badly we were lacking air.

In a matter of seconds though, Louis had caught enough air, and ducked his head into my neck where he first just planted kisses, but then started biting and sucking on my skin, probably trying to make a hickey.

I moaned as he found my sweet spot, and in a flash remembered why we were actually there. I put all my strength into shoving him off of me and sat up, panting.

"What's wrong love?" Louis asked quietly, and I could feel his breath on my skin. Soon I felt his fingers delicately pull the collar of my shirt down my arm, revealing my shoulder, and he started kissing it lightly.

I shivered at the contact, but quickly pulled away.

"Louis, we came here to rehearse this," I sighed as I stood up, going to my backpack and pulling the scripts out. I found the scenes that were problematic to us, and turned to Louis.

I was surprised to see him sitting on my bed, pouting. Actually pouting, his bottom lip puffed out, puppy eyes, everything. Watching him like that, I came to a conclusion that he is the first guy I've met that can pull off cute and sexy in the same time.

"Louis," I whined, a smile hinting on my lips.

"We have to," I said, waving the papers in front of him. He dropped the pout and sighed, finally standing up. I smiled as he took his papers out of his backpack and started flipping pages.

"Um, page 14, that's the one you can't get right. Right?" He said after sighing. I nodded, already on page 14.

"Alright. Just start with the yelling, I'm right here," He said and looked up at me, waiting.

I read the lines a few times, before putting the papers on my desk. I took a deep breath before starting.

"What is your problem, huh?" I exclaimed, looking at Louis. "Even though we're here because of Evan and not to compete, that's somehow still all you do the entire time! Why? Why do you love to get on my nerves so much? What have I ever done to you?"

I stared at him as he looked at the ground and, frustrated, turned around to walk off, just like the script said. It's then that I realized I had said everything the way I was supposed to, no messed up words, not one wrong tone. I did it!

"I did it!" I put my thoughts into words excitedly.

"Yay!" Louis turned around with a wide grin on his face and his arms outstretched, and threw them around me as I wrapped mine around his waist, laughing. It wasn't that big of a deal, but something was telling me my success wasn't the only reason he was hugging me.

"Alright, let's do mine in German," Louis said and removed his arms from me so he could find the scene in the script. I quickly glanced at the little note he had witten on my copy, Check out page 34 ;) -Lou, and smiled. I would have never guessed that that would become one of my favorite scenes in the play.

Louis cleared his throat and I looked up at him. He put the papers on my desk and walked closer to me.

"Du bist das schönste Mädchen, das ich je gesehen habe und ich würde dich wirklich gerne küssen," He said it with such ease, it was then that I realized he actually wanted to rehearse that scene because of what comes after that line.

"Das kannst du," I said, not a hearbeat after he finished his line.

Louis smiled at me, much wider than needed. "Wirklich?"

"J-" I didn't get the word out as he all too soon pressed his lips to mine. The supposedly short kiss turned into a make out session as I wrapped my arms around his neck, and his went around my waist. It got more serious when he pinned me against a wall and started moving his hands under my shirt.

My breath hitched, though we kept kissing. The only difference was that my mind was racing now.

It was pretty obvious where we were going, and I was having a battle in my head whether should I go all the way or not. My mind was telling me no, that it was too early, but my body was saying yes... For obvious reasons. And even though I didn't know if it was good or not, I knew my body was winning the battle by miles.

The moment I dropped my arms from around Louis' neck in order to take his shirt off, the door of the dorm opened.

"This is our do- OH MY GOD! OH MY FUCKING GOD!" I heard a female voice screech and it almost caused me a heart attack, and by the looks of it, Louis too. He literally jumped away from me and we both looked at the door, to see Caitlyn and Devon standing there. Caitlyn had her hands over her eyes and her face against Devon's chest, who was looking at us wide eyed.

"Hi guys," He said, gulping, not a sign of amusement or anything similar in his eyes.

"Can I talk to you, Lou?" He said, trying to make it sound casual, but the stern look in his eyes spoke differently.

Louis cleared his throat and looked at me. I looked back at him and we just stood there like that for a few seconds, before he spoke.

"I'll see you soon, love." He nodded and kissed my cheek before leaving with Devon. Devon kissed Caitlyn on the lips before following Louis outside.

"Seems like you were having a lot of fun here," She said with her hands on her hips. I smiled at the ground and turned around, facing the window again.

"Aw, don't be shy!" Cait said, clearly amused, but that wasn't the problem. I was actually confused and quite frankly, worried too. What is it that Devon wanted to talk to Louis about?

Louis' POV

"What?" I snapped at Devon. Did he really have to pull me out of the room when I was literally millimeters away from finally having Lorena?

"I don't think you should do it now," He sighed, and I was taken aback. I was expecting some sort of a father-son talk, but he told me not to do it now. Now.

"Why not?" I asked, very interested in hearing his answer.

He sighed. "I'm aware that it's impossible to talk you out of this, but... At least don't do it before the play. You'll ruin it."

I stared at him, thinking. He was right. If I do it now, Lorena will find out and probably quit her part in the play. And knowing her, she won't hesitate to tell everybody why she suddenly gave up on it.

I nodded, slowly, staring into space. "Yeah, you're right."

Devon sighed in relief and smiled a little.

"Thanks man. I'm not only saving your ass, but she's my girlfriend's best friend, so I kind of have to protect her ass too."

I laughed and shoved him to the side.

"Alright lad, I have an exam in twenty minutes, so I'll be off. See ya," Devon said and I waved in his direction, before slowly making my way out of the foreign building as well.

It wasn't much of a problem. I'll just have to lead Lorena on for another two months. Nine weeks. Sixty days.

Nope, no big deal at all.
