Chapter 30

~A/N~

Soooo I read a couple of comments saying that the story is getting boring and that nothing happens anymore. Well.
To everyone who thinks so; e
verything in the story happens for a reason, and if I cut something out, it wouldn't make sense in the end. So please, bear with these few boring chapters because when shit starts going down, you won't know what hit you. And enjoy chapter 30 :]

WARNING: JUST A LIL BIT OF HAPPY TIME IN THE BEGINNING. IF YOU KNOW WAT I MEAN.

*******

"Do you..." He started breathily, pinning me harder against the wall. "Have any idea..." I was slowly becoming unaware of him talking, as he started sloppily kissing my neck. I was pretty sure that, if he didn't finish his sentence soon, he would forget that he was saying something in the first place.

"How much in love with you I am?" Louis finally finished in one breath, his words making me feel like someone had started a campfire in the area around my heart. I smiled to myself, my hand getting lost in his hair. "I love you," I breathed out, turning my head slightly so my lips were against his ear, and cried out when I felt him bite my neck harder.

"I love you," Louis echoed my words, moving his lips up to my jaw as his hands roamed my body. "I love you, I love you, I love you," He repeated between kisses. "I love saying that," He said through a breathy smile, leaving one kiss on my cheek, before connecting our lips in the most passionate kiss I've ever had.

I kissed him back with such heat and intensity, I could practically feel his knees weaken. For a second, I was actually in control, but then Louis gripped my hips and slammed me against the wall again, disconnecting our lips.

"You drive me crazy, you know that?" He needed to inhale a few times so he could get the words out, and almost tore my shirt off in impatience. "First you act like we're fucking Beauty and the Beast, and then you tell me some other guy is the best thing that's ever happened to you? Huh?" He almost violently ground his hips against mine, making me cry out again, as he threw my shirt somewhere behind him. This time, Zach wasn't there to catch it. No one was.

"You know how that makes me feel?" He grasped my jaw so even if I didn't want to, I had to look at him. The look in his eyes was vivid, on fire. His eyes would usually darken when he was aroused, but now the usual blue was pretty much gone, and they looked almost photoshopped. Like someone had increased the contrast at least 60%.

"Like I need to prove to you that I am the best thing that's ever happened to you." He kept staring into my eyes for another second, before pressing his lips against mine in another heated kiss. I kissed him back again, putting all of my feelings into that one kiss. I wanted him to know that, as off that very moment, he truly is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

"You don't have to prove anything to me." I shook my head, speaking against his lips as he tried to continue kissing me, but stopped when he processed my words. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but you beat Flynn." I smiled, ignoring the small rock that struck my chest at the mention of his name, and pulled away from Louis, just enough so I could take a look at his face. If I'd missed it, I would have regretted it; the look on it was priceless.

"I love you," He said, but this time his words were drowning in emotion; feelings for me that I knew were real. He pulled his shirt off in a rush, his hand flying to the back of my neck as soon as he'd gotten it off, to pull me toward him in another fiery kiss. "I really, really love you a whole fucking lot."

I nodded, parting our lips for a second before Louis captured mine with his again. I pushed myself off of the wall, my hands sliding from his neck down his body, to his belt, which took me a few long seconds to unbuckle without looking at what I was doing. That's something new.

"Oh, come on," Louis breathed out as he noticed I was trying to pull it out of the loops. "Just... Take it..." He didn't finish his sentence, instead just pulled his pants down, the belt still in, and walked all over his jeans until they were off, flinging them somewhere in the room. He pulled me closer to him by the belt loops of my jeans, making me feel how excited he was, now that he was only in his boxers.

"I am," Louis started, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "About to make you feel so fucking good," He finished slowly, allowing the words to sink into my brain, and I let out a breath in anticipation.

"What's taking you so long?" I said, almost through gritted teeth, and looked at him, to see a smirk slowly forming on his face, as his hand started sliding down my bare body just as slow.

"I'm going to need you to do something for me, alright?" The fingers of his left hand were now playing with the button of my jeans, but soon he stopped and took me by surprise as he dipped his hand into my pants. My hand flew up to grip the window pane behind me, and I threw my head back until it hit the wall.

"What?" I moaned, my eyes tightly shut as I thought of everything he could ask me to do. I was pretty sure I knew what he wanted, and quite frankly, I was up for anything at that point. Even that.

Louis brought his lips to my ear, and as soon as I thought he'd ask me to put that pretty mouth of mine to business, he said something that didn't even cross my mind;

"Wake up."

My eyes snapped open, and I pulled away so I could look at him. "W-What?" I said, feeling fear spread through my body. Why the hell was he asking me to-

"Wake up," He repeated, but this time it didn't even sound like him. His voice suddenly got an octave higher, and everything around us was spinning. Even he was. What was going on?! What the he-

"Lorena! Lorena, wake up!"

My body jerked, and I opened my eyes as quickly as I could, but shut them again as I was almost blinded by the light. What the fuck?! What the fuck was going on?!

"Lori, don't play games with me! Wake the fuck up!"

Oh God. No, I refused to believe it. I refused to believe the fact that I was hearing Caitlyn, waking me up, and that all of what had happened with Louis was a dream. Nope, God can't be mean like that.

"Lorena Grace Cloe, you better open your eyes before I drop a cage of rats on you." Well. Maybe God could be mean. Not as much as Caitlyn though.

"Alright, alright! Jesus," I said and rolled over on my back, and rubbed my face to fulfill my best friend's wish. She's always been famous for her horrendous timing.

On the other side, though... Was I really having a dirty dream, with Louis in it? Was I seriously going to have sex with him if Caitlyn hadn't woken me up? It was that question that made me snap out of my slumber and sit up, fully conscious. I know it was just a dream, hell, I was glad about it now, but still... For some reason I felt uneasy about it.

"Caitlyn," I said slowly, when I noticed her sitting on my bed. "What the fuck?" I said softly, as if I'd said 'good morning, sunshine'.

She grinned and shifter closer to me. Okay. "You and Louis, silly! What happened yesterday? What happened last night? I want to know everything!"

A few seconds passed before I turned my head to the left, to take a look at my alarm clock. "Caitlyn, it is seven in the fucking morning, I'm not going to talk about it now." I slowly closed my eyes and slid down into my bed, until I was in a lying position again.

"Oh, yes you are," She said, almost laughing throughout her sentence. "You know why? Because if you don't, I'm telling Louis that you were having a wet dream with him as the lead."

I immediately opened my eyes, widening them at Caitlyn as I slowly sat up. "How did you-"

"You talk in your sleep, babe. It's usually about grades and tests, but now I think the nerd decided to have some fun." She wiggled her eyebrows at me, as I slid down in my bed again, this time embarrassed. I pulled the duvet over my face so Caitlyn couldn't see me, and almost died there. If I had, I would have been happy that I didn't get to face her again, now that she'd heard me... Talk in my sleep.

"So," Caitlyn said all of a sudden. "What's it gonna be, babe?"

"Stop calling me babe," I grumbled as I sat up, my cheeks still burning. "I'm not your babe."

"Oh, that's right, you're Louis', sorry. Wouldn't want him to hear me, wo- hey! The fuck?!" Caitlyn stood up so I'd stop hitting her with the magazine that was on my nightstand. I dropped it back in its place and sighed.

"If you don't drop that shit, I won't tell you anything." I shook my head at her as she widened her eyes and sat back down, this time much closer to me. "No, no, tell me! Please, do tell me! Wait!" Just as I'd opened my mouth, Caitlyn pressed her index finger against my lips, and stood up. What now?

"I prepared for this situation." Next thing I knew, my best friend was dropping several packs of gummy bears, a few candy bars and a bag of chips on my bed. Just when I thought she was done, she stood up and walked to the tiny kitchen to get two glasses, and put them on my nightstand. I started laughing when she picked up a bottle of Coke that had been next to my bed the entire time, and poured it into the two glasses.

"Now speak." Caitlyn grinned as she handed me one of the glasses. As I took it, her hands flew to the bag of chips, and she opened it eagerly, looking like she was about to watch the most exciting movie ever.

"Okay, um..." I trailed off, looking down at my soda. Where do I even begin? So much happened the previous day!

"Come on!" Cait threw a chip at me, and then grabbed it to shove it into her mouth, looking slightly desperate. Why is it that I never noticed how weird she is for the past five years?

"What happened when you met up?" She asked, the look in her eyes vivid. Almost as vivid as Louis in my- okay, now I'm gonna stop thinking about that.

"Um, well, we went to the post office," I pointed out, but Caitlyn didn't let me finish. "Why?"

"It's his sister's birthday on Saturday, and we bought her a gift a few days ago-"

"Aw, that's so sweet! What did you get her?"

"A-A dress." Why the hell was I stuttering?

"Even sweeter! Alright, then what happened?"

I took a deep breath before speaking. "Then, um, we went to a coffee shop, and talked. You know, school, family, plans for the future-"

"So in other words, nothing interesting?"

I widened my eyes at Caitlyn. "Well what were we supposed to talk about? What do you and Devon talk about?" The glint in her eyes suddenly made me regret my decision to ask. "Actually, no, don't tell me." I shook my head with my eyebrows furrowed, making Caitlyn laugh.

"Okay. Then what happened?" There she was, looking like a five year old again.

"Well, we stayed at the café for about an hour and a half. Nothing really interesting happened there, but we did have a good time. And, then we came back to the dorm." I motioned to the space around us, and Caitlyn widened her eyes and threw her head back a little.

"Ohhh," She said, creeping me out a little. "That's why you were having a dirty dream, because it didn't only happen in your dreams, right?" I shook my head frantically as Caitlyn's smirk disappeared, and utter disappointment replaced it.

"Oh, come on! Nothing?" She gestured toward my bed, and I shook my head, kind of proud. It was a good thing that I still hadn't slept with Louis, and nothing she says would change my mind.

"No, we came back here and... Talked. But," I started again, when Caitlyn rolled her eyes. "This time we talked about past relationships."

"Let me guess, you did all the talking?" She raised her eyebrows at me, and I shook my head as I sat up, kind of excited.

"That's how I thought it'd go too! But then he told me about this one girl that he dated."

Caitlyn huffed. "For how long? Two, three days?"

"Two and a half years." The look on my best friend's face was priceless. "She meant so much to him, and then she left him because her dad told her to."

"Woah, woah, woah," Caitlyn raised her hand to shush me, and closed her eyes to process the information. "Are you telling me that... Louis Tomlinson hasn't been a manwhore since ever, but a little bit after that?"

Ignoring her insult, I nodded. "And this girl that he dated, she... I don't even know, she didn't really care about him, but basically led him on for almost three years. Apparently she liked him at first, but when things got serious her feelings went away, and she stayed with Louis only because she felt safe with him. You know, he wasn't a player or anything back then. She felt like he wouldn't cheat on her no matter what she did."

Caitlyn nodded as she stared at me with her eyes wide. "And then when her dad asked her to break up with him, she did it without second thoughts, right?"

"Yeah, and he found out about the actual reason later, and that's what made him become, you know, a manwhore," I copied Caitlyn's word. "The fact that she didn't really care about him."

"Awww." Caitlyn pouted, and if I didn't know any better, I'd think she was about to start crying. "That's actually so sad. I can't believe I spent two years hating him."

"Me too," I admitted, sipping my coke.

"What about you? Did you tell him about your exes?"

"Yeah, Morris, Jensen and..."

Caitlyn nodded as I trailed off. She knew I didn't like talking about him. I tried getting over the fact that he was dead, but when I couldn't, I just started pretending like everything's okay. It's been working for me for over a year, no point in trying to deal with it now.

Which reminded me of my dream... Again. How could I tell Louis that he's the best thing that  had ever happened to me, that he beat Flynn? We've been seeing each other for only two months, and I was already comparing our relationship to the one I had with Flynn, that lasted five years? Even in my dreams, that was unacceptable.

No one could ever be as important to me as Flynn was. He gave me the best five years of my life, and I never thought for a second that it was all too good to be true. Still, I enjoyed it while it lasted, and as much as I didn't want it to end, it did and there's nothing I could do about it. Just try and find a guy that could fill the hole Flynn left behind, half of it, if nothing. And that's what Louis' doing.

"Then what happened?" I almost dropped my glass of coke as Caitlyn spoke loudly, startling me. She laughed at me because of it, but stopped when I started talking. "Then, um..."

I trailed off, my eyes widening for a second when I remembered another thing that happened; when I asked him if there was anything he'd like to ask me, he realized what I'd meant by that.

"Then he asked me to be his girlfriend," I said bluntly, staring in front of myself. I looked at Caitlyn as I heard her squeal, and I started doing the same thing. I wasn't going to pretend like I wasn't excited or that it wasn't a big deal; it was huge. Gigantic.

"Oh my God, what did you say?" Caitlyn gasped, clutching her chest as she waited for me to reply. "I said yes, of course!" I beamed, and she almost screamed. Although, right after that, her smile disappeared and she looked kind of pissed off.

"And you're telling me you didn't have sex with him even after that?" I rolled my eyes; why do best friends always have to be perverted?

"No, I just... I don't want to rush it, you know?"

Cait nodded sarcastically. "Then why are your dreams telling me a whole different thing?"

I grabbed the magazine on my nightstand and started hitting Caitlyn with it again, making her laugh. "Fuck you," I muttered, blushing a little. It wasn't even that much of a dirty dream. We barely did anything besides take out shirts off.

Which reminded me of something again... We'd said 'I love you' to each other. Several times. Again, I know it was just a dream, but... It freaked me out for some reason. Maybe it was because the only guy I've ever told I love you to was Flynn, and now this was all too much, too soon. I don't know, I might have to-

"We need to celebrate this!" Caitlyn yanked me out of my thoughts with her loud voice, and I jumped a little, almost dropping my glass on the bed. "We're already celebrating!" I snapped, and she grinned.

"In that case..." Caitlyn picked up the bottle of coke and refilled our glasses. "To you and Louis, and a baby girl that will be named after me."

"Caitlyn," I whined.

"See? It's a really cute name." When I gave her a skeptical look, she shrugged uneasily. "Alright, alright, how about a different spelling?" She picked up a notebook and pen from my nightstand, wrote down something and showed it to me.

Katelyn, it said. I huffed as she dropped the notebook back on the table. "I'm not really fond of that name," I teased, and laughed at the look on her face. "Really, bitch?" She said, making me laugh harder.

"Well, imagine naming your daughter Lorena," I said with a smile, and Caitlyn narrowed her eyes, looking around the room.

"Lorena Pattinson. Yeah, you're right, it's silly."

"Oh my God," I laughed again.

*******

"Caitlyn!" I yelled, my hand on the door handle. "Come on, we have like 10 minutes!"

"I'm out, I'm out!" She shouted as she walked out of the bathroom, and we finally left our dorm. To think, we woke up at seven, and we were almost late for class the begun at nine. Isn't that just brilliant.

We tripped a few times on our way out of the building, and then on our way to the other building. Fortunately, we weren't unlucky enough to fall and made it to class five minutes before the bell rung.

"Oh my God," Caitlyn gasped, leaning forward to grip her knees and catch some air.

"Come on, we have to hurry up." I needed it as much as she did, but I was determined not to be late for Miss Dawson's class. Partly because Louis would be there too.

"Hey, love." Speaking of the devil...

I turned around to see Louis, walking toward me with a million dollar smile. I could also see some girls looking at him like he was Jesus or something, but they were only in the corner of my eyes. Louis was my main focus.

"Hi," I beamed, subconsciously starting to walk toward him too. I stood on my tiptoes when I was in front of him, and shamelessly kissed him in front of around 50 people. I could do that now, right?

Louis' hand went to my hip as he kissed me back, not the same way as he did it in my dream, but I wasn't complaining. At. All.

A short minute passed before we finally parted, and now there were more people staring at us. Neither of us seemed to care about it though.

"How's my girlfriend doing?" He grinned down at me, and I smiled at the way his words warmed my heart. "Fantastic," I said slowly and kissed him again, this time more passionately, and thought about what I'd told him in my dream. That he'd beat Flynn. I was slowly starting to believe that was actually true, and hoped that Louis' worth it. I have no idea what I'd do if my relationship with him ended because of something stupid.
