*Faith*
I watched my momma as she laid ding in a hospital bed. Her injuries were to severe for them to fix I never left her side to the last of her life left her body. The Earth had changed drastically sense then thanks to my mother's work. Humans were able to reproduce properly and plants finally started growing back. The water was even becoming cleaner. We started rebuilding the Earth anew. Even new animal species were being found. I stop talking when I found out who did it his name was David. But I never met him. My poppa taught me everything he knew but I was better at fighting. So my poppa taught me how to be the best fighter, sniper, and assassin I could. My poppa was the best marine Hayen had and I was stronger then him. But he never let me out. I did everything around the house cooked, cleaned, and did all the chores. My only friend was Eve my best friend we've known each other sense we were children. We grew up together we were practically sisters. But she was half vampire a damphire so she could go out in the sun but still has the powers of a vampire. When one day my poppa came home. It was my 19th birthday.
"Hey baby girl. I think your old enough now to start going out on your own." He said, walking in kissing me on the head.
"Really." I smiled, when Eve walked in wearing a sun hat, white sun glasses, and a cute short strapless red dress with some cute black high heels. Her hair was pulled to the side, she was wearing red lip stick, mascara, and eyeliner. She always looked like a model she was all about looks.
"Really sister your welcome you can thank me later." She said, I ran over and hugged her. We jumped up and down. When my dad handed me some money.
"Thank you poppa your the best." I said, taking it kissing his cheek and hugging him. I put it in my pocket and we left.
"So where to fist?" I asked.
"Well first lets go get you a new outfit something that shows that sexy body of your. I'm serious I'm jealous of the body you have you should totally show it off get yourself a man and to top it all off you have an amazing personality. Just like your mother." She smiled. I laughed.
"Okay fine goddess show me the way oh wise." I joked grabbing her hand. She chuckled dragging me into a store. She started looking through the clothes till she found a short white long sleeve dress. But the the sleeves and top were pure lace. It was so pretty. It had a thick cute brown waist belt on it. Then she picked up some really cute high heels and some really cute jewelry. I tried it on in the dressing room.
"Now that's what I'm talking about gorgeous. Now spin so I can get a better look." She chuckled. So I did as she asked. She smiled. "Beautiful." She said, tapping on the seat beside her. I sat down.
"Now close your eyes." She commanded. So I did. When I felt something weird on my eyelids.
"Whats that." I asked curiously.
"That my dear cousin is eye shadow. I know your not used to makeup so I'm only doing the basics." She said. Then I felt her rubbing something all over my face and do something to my eye lashes. I giggled when I felt a brush on my cheeks. Then she put some bright red lip stick on my lips.
"Okay Now you can look I did a smoky eye on your eyes cause I thought it would look the best." She said, I didn't even recognize myself.
"Holy shit I look like a model." I blurted. She laughed and we payed for it and left.
"Now lets go for drinks." She replied walking down the street when I noticed everyone staring as we walked by. I hated being the center of attention. I looked down.
"Oh come on Faith quite being so shy your beautiful and not to mention your Clair and Bain's daughter show so pride." She said, everything got quiet and everyone started whispering. After my mother died they built a big statue of her in the middle of the city. I've never seen it though. She loved putting me on the spot. She was used to being the center of attention.
"Eve why did you have to say that. You know how much I hate being the center of attention." I blurted. When I noticed some creeps following us. I spoon around.
"Hey ass holes you could at least try to not be so noticeable." I bluntly crossing my arms over my chest. They smiled and walked.
"Well sweet thing your coming with us." He said, getting up in my face.
"Oh and is that a fact." I snickered.
"Why yes it is." He said, grabbing my arm. When I grabbed his hand twisting it making him fall to his knees.
"Well you picked the wrong girl my poppa's a special force marine your a fool for thinking I'd be so weak." I said grabbing his head and bashing it off my knee breaking his nose. He fell to the ground unconscious. His friend took off.
"Creep." I yelled.
"Baby girl the only thing I swear you enjoy bashing people's heads in you really should get a boyfriend or something. You have no idea what your missing after I met Sam everything fell into place. Faith after everything you've been through you deserve to be happy." She said, she been dating Sam for 3 years. He was her first love. They've known each other sense they were kids. He was a vampire too. He was her first boyfriend. He was her first everything. He'll she even swears up and down their going to get married someday.
"Please not this again. I told you a million times I don't need a man to make me happy." I said, she hugged me. Then grabbed my hand. She dragged me to a nearby bar. She ordered the drinks. She had to order me a pop sense I was underaged. But as soon as the bartender handed us our drinks and left she pour alcohol in my cup.
"Your going to get me in trouble." I said, she laughed.
"What they don't know can't hurt them." She replied, taking a sip. I chugged my brink when I noticed a really fine piece of sitting across the room. He was still in his army uniform. I bit my bottom lip watch he brink and talk to his buddies.
"I don't know if it the alcohol talking or what but I would totally tap that. I love a man in uniform." I said, almost making Eve spit her drink out from laughing.
"Faith I have never in my life ever heard you say that about anyone in my life and I've known you sense the moment you were born." She laughed. But as soon as she turned to see who I was staring at a woman came and sat down beside him. He put his arm over her shoulders and kissed her.
"Damn it he has a woman." She said, right when I seen my dad walk over and sit beside his friends.
"Wonder why dads here." I said, curiously.
"Then go ask him he is your dad." She replied. So I walked up behind him making sure he couldn't see me.
"Hey what are you doing here."I whispered in his ear Making him jump.
"What baby girl don't scare me like that." He said, hugging me and pulling me onto his lap.
"Hey that's your fault for not paying attention." I joked, stealing his cup.
"You've been drinking?" He asked.
"She gave it to me." I said, pointing at Eve who walked over.
"Point taken I did give it to her." She laughed putting her arm on my shoulder.
"You do realize I gotta go home with her right." He replied.
"Hey she your daughter which means she's your problem uncle not mine." She snickered. When the bartender walked up.
"Wait a minute Bain this is your daughter we've been friends for years and I didn't even know you had any children and such a fine one to. She's gorgeous how could you keep this from me." He said, He had an Italian accent.
"Clair's her mother I think you can figure out why I didn't say anything. Plus she's the only thing I got." He said.
"No way you mean the Clair. The one that made the serum?" He asked.
"The very one you should notice the resemblance she's a spitting image of her." He said, pushing my hair away from my face and kissing my forehead.
"I've never seen you act like this." He said, in disbelief.
"Of course you haven't you've never seen me with my baby girl." He replied, petting my head. When I looked at him.
"Wait are you wearing makeup?" He asked.
"Eve did it." I said, pointing at her.
"Baby girl if you want to wear makeup wear it I think you look amazing just like your mother." He said.
"Really. Poppa your the best." I replied hugging.

"You know I have a son. He's around her age. A little older but still around her she. She fit in with the family fine. You know I'd never mention it but my wife getting worried. I know how it is to be a father I have a daughter myself. He doesn't take marriage seriously. The only women he brings home a the bad type. All they want is money and all he does are play around with them. I don't want her to anything drastic I just want her to spend some time with him. Teach him that there's more to woman then just that. Get to know a real woman." The bartender said.
"She's a grown woman it's time she made her own choices." Poppa said.
"Yes I'll do it. It shouldn't be that hard." I replied.
"Thank you doll face. How's tomorrow at 1 I'll pick you up." He said, handing me a glass.
"Ya I get up early anyway."I replied. Then he left cause he had customers to tend to. I drank the drink he gave to me.
"Okay well you better get back to your cousin. I promised her I would let her have you for the day." He replied.
"Are you trying to trying get rid of me." I asked.
"No I want you to live your life. Poppa's not going to be there forever." He said. So I went with her she took me to a different bar when we ran into Sam.
"Baby." Eve yelled hugging him.
"I was wondering how long it take you to get here." He teased, kissing here and pulling away.
"Hey Faith how you been doing Sweetie." He asked, hugging me. "I'm doing good thanks." I smiled he always treated me little sister.
"By the way Damian this is my gorgeous girlfriend girl Eve and this beautiful, strong, yet sweet young lady is her cousin Faith." He introduced us to his friend. He was really handsome and he was a vampire. He was a purebred I looked away flustered when he looked at me.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." He said, she smiled. Kissing the back of my hand.
"It's nice to meet you to." I said shyly. Then Eve sat by Sam and I sat by him. He put his arm around my shoulders getting really close making me feel really uncomfortable. He ordered me a drink. I chugged till ended up leaning up against him. I hadn't even noticed noticed Eve and Sam had left. But when I did I started to panic. Till he hugged me. He picked me up I wrapped my arms around his neck. He took me to his house. Put me on the bed and laid down beside me. He didn't try anything we just stayed and talked till we fell asleep.
