Then we walked out when I noticed some soldiers in the lab. David covered my mouth and pulled me back in.

"Stay right here don't make a sound." He whispered I nodded and he slipped out the door. He stood in front of it.

"What can I do you for?" He asked. It wasn't regular soldiers we normally served. A woman was examining the sonogram machine.

"Your friend was trying to hide this from us." She said. When we seen Mark being pinned to the ground.

"We were testing to see if it still worked now would you mind let go of my friend." David said, crossing his arms.

"But it was used recently. There's still jelly on it." She said, walking over.

"Like I said we were just testing it." He said, blocking the door.

"If there's a pregnant woman here we will find her." She replied getting up in his face.

"Over my dead body." He growled shutting the door all the way so I couldn't see. When I heard the woman yell.

"Holly shit." I heard one of the men yell. I peeked out when and I seen them all backed into a corner. Mark and David were both in their other forms.

"Stop it that's going to far." I yelled they both stop when I almost trip David caught me with his tail.

"Darling you need to be more careful." He said, pushing me back up on my feet with his nose. I kissed him.

"I know but you can't be going all out of control for my sake." I said, petting him. The woman was watching my every move.

"Now I suggest if you want to get out of here alive you spill why you came here in the first place." I demanded.

"We heard there was an amazing scientist who works in this lab that's a genius. I was wondering if you found a cure that would allow us to reproduce?" She asked. I smiled and motioned her to follow me. She followed me to my desk. When David and Mark stood be hide me watching the other soldiers. David crossed his arms. I chucked fusing different genetics.

"So your the scientist they were talking about?" She asked.

"Yep the one and only. You see how they changed right?" I questioned.

"Ya how did they do that?" She asked curiously.

"That's because of me I'm the one that made the serum and who built the machine." I said, rubbing my one hand on my stomach.

"Are you the one that's pregnant?" She asked kneeling beside me.

"Ya I am their both males. They can't conceive." I giggled when she started kicking. I laughed.

"Do you know the gender?" She questioned.

"Ya she's a girl." I answered. She smiled. I grabbed her arm and injected a serum.

"What is that?" One of the men demanded.

"It's an artificial hormone that will make her ovulate and have her period like she's supposed to. Thus making her be able to reproduce I didn't know if it would work or not so I tried it on myself first and that's how I got this little miracle. Trust me I'm against violence the world already has way to much in it. How do you think the earth ended up in this condition because war. War breeds hate and hate breeds destruction. You think the earth was always like this. It was once very beautiful. Every kind of animal and the earth was covered in green and clean blue oceans. Not this desert waist land and polluted water that you can't even drink." I blurted although it was not my voice it was the lizards that was fused with me.

"And how do you know all this?" He asked.

"You think she's the only one in control. I let her because I trust her. I am the other being that is fused with her I know many things from when the earth was young." I said, but he was the one talking.

"She used the machine?" David demanded.

"Ya. You should know by now she always tests her experiments on herself first that's what makes her my perfect match she has one thing humans now a days don't have faith, mercy, compassion, understanding, loyalty, kindness, and most of all her heart is full of love. Which is very hard to come a crossed now days. Humans now days lack the very thing that makes them human. Now their practically beasts and savages. They feel nothing and all they do is destroy everything in their path." He said putting a bandage on her arm.

"You two can also connected with the beings you fused with." He continued. When I was finally able to take control again.

"Sorry I wasn't expecting Lightening to come out like that he normally likes to only give me advice not take full control." I said, rubbing my temples.

"Lightening you fused with Lightening?" David questioned angrily.

"Yes I fused with Lightening. I was the only one he would let handle him or even get near him. He was the one I trusted the most." I replied.

"Who's Lightening?" Another soldier asked.

"That's top secret I'm afraid. Besides we already told you to much." Mark growled.

"Cool it guys their not hostile. Besides I don't like violence. He's not telling you because we weren't authorised to make Lightening. He was our first test subject he was a white lizard. We had no idea how old he was or what type of lizard he was. Or even if he was a lizard at all. Hell the people we worked for didn't even know we had him. We never told them because we looked through everything nothing. He was a unknown species unidentified. We hid him from them because we knew they would dissect him and I wasn't about to let that happen. We found him on a mountain when we were collecting samples. He walked right up to me and just looked in my eyes. That's when I knew I had to have him so I brought him back to the lab. We called him Lightening because unlike other lizards he could conduct electricity like an electric eel and shock anything that touched him. It was a natural defence mechanisms. We did all kinds of tests on him to enhance his strength, intelligence, even managed to give him some abilities. He could literally cause a thunder storm. He was also the first animal we ever fused as well. We fused him with a bird an eagle." I said, turning on my computer showing a picture of him before we fused him and after.

"I'm appreciate your honesty you must not trust the people you work for that well since you hid so much from them." The soldier said.

"No I don't their a bunch of liars and thief's. Plus their greed is repulsive. They don't trust us either. Hell I've had my own father point a gun at my head just because I refused to do what he wanted. My father's the general. He's cruel, abusive, proud, greedy, and shows no mercy. That's why I refuse to call him my father. I was only 12 when he aimed a gun at my head and when David jumped in front of me he had the soldiers beat him bloody to force me to compile. So I did as he asked I mutated one of his soldiers. He didn't make it. So my father blamed me called me a failure and had the soldiers beat Mark up. But he wasn't in as bad of a condition as David. He couldn't even move and I had to nurse him back to health. He almost didn't make it. He still has the scares reminding me everyday of my failure because I could have prevented it. But I didn't so I only have myself to blame." I said looking down holding back my tears. I hated remembering that moment. When David hugged me.

"Now you know that's not true I choice to intervene. I knew what would happen no one made me do anything and I'd do it all over again." He whispered in my ear making me smile. He kissed my cheek and whipped my face.

"So I'm guessing your the father?" The soldier asked.

"Yes I am. You need to know I will do anything for her and I think I made myself clear when I fused myself with the small dragon. I did it only to protect this woman and my unborn child. Not very many men would go to such lengths which should show you how serious I really am." David said, the woman's exasperation softened.

"They've been more then honest with us I think it's time we returned the favor. How would you like to go to Hayven. It's the only place on Earth where you can safely raise your child and raise a family. You can even get married. We tore down all the old buildings and made it anew we've even managed to clean the water and grow plants. Most of the people are artificially made but you'll get used to it and there's always room. We've gathered all the humans we possibly could. That's why we came here looking for survivors. We have the best high tec. We even have the best military, navy, army and marines. Did I mention we also have the best cop and FBI force so there's little to no crime in the city." She said, my jaw dropped.

"I thought that was a myth." I blurted without think.

"No it is very real. Come see for yourself we'll give you your own lab." She said, Mark, David and I all looked at each other.

"Yes." We all said at once.

"Good good now we'll pack you equipment and we'll be on our way by the way I'm Sarah." She said, extending her hand he took it. We shook hands.

"I'm David, that's Mark, and yours truly is Clair." David said, pointing at me.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you." She smiled. Then we packed all our stuff we left nothing behind. We even took the machine and our test subjects.

"Now what we can't let them know we left. They'll try to track us." I said, when two of the soldier pulled out old skeletons and what looked like props. I gave them a questioning look.

"Okay so we did a back round check before we came here we knew we'd have to use a distraction so they wouldn't follow us so we brought these to trick them into thinking you died in a lab fire. So they wouldn't get suspicious." She said as they took them in then they drenched the whole building in gas. When the soldiers walked out Mark blew out fire out of his mouth catching the building on fire.

"Well that's one way to do it." Sarah said, as we all loaded onto the huge plane. I held onto David.

"Someone's not used to being on a plane." They teased laughing.
I fell asleep in David's arms. Mark was sitting beside us.
