Calming the Storm

Here's the next chapter, enjoy.

As the Saiyan pods hissed open, the group of Saiyan females emerged, their battle armor glinting under the bright light of the Lookout. Lori led the group, her sharp gaze fixed on Piccolo, who stood his ground with arms crossed, his expression unreadable.

Lori was a female Saiyan woman with fair skin, shoulder length blonde hair with fringes, and possessed a muscular and curvaceous build, and a golden tail wrapped around her waist. She is wearing a cyan blue Scouter, blue bodysuit underneath her cyan blue and white Saiyan armor, and white gloves and boots.

Leni was a female Saiyan woman with fair skin, long platinum blonde hair, and possessed a light muscular, yet very feminine and curvaceous build, and a golden tail wrapped around her waist. She is wearing red hoop earrings, a blue bodysuit underneath her seafoam green and white Saiyan armor, and white wrist guards and boots.

Luan was a female Saiyan woman with fair skin, long wild brown hair tied in a downward ponytail, and possessed a light muscular, yet very feminine build, and a brown tail wrapped around her waist. She is wearing a black bodysuit underneath her yellow and white Saiyan armor, and yellow and white wrist guards and boots.

Lucy was a Saiyan woman with pale skin, gothic black hair with bangs covering her eyes, and possessed a slight muscular and feminine build, and a tar black wrapped around her waist. She is wearing a black bodysuit underneath her dark gray and black Saiyan armor, and white gloves and boots.

Lisa was a Saiyan teen girl with fair skin, unkempt maroon brown hair, and possessed a light muscular build and a dark brown tail around her waist. She is wearing goggles with light green lens, light green and black Saiyan armor, black shorts, and black wrist guards and boots.

A/N: The folder I was given didn't have the image of Lisa so I had to find this one.

Lily was a female Saiyan teen girl with fair skin, light blonde hair, and possessed a petite build, and a golden tail wrapped around her waist. She is wearing a blue bodysuit underneath her lavender and white Saiyan armor, and white gloves and boots.

Lori: (calmly, but with authority) From what I've read, Namekians should've been wiped out by Frieza's rampage on Namek. Didn't think we'd find any of you alive.

Piccolo: (coolly) Don't believe everything you read in Frieza's logs. We're more resilient than he gave us credit for. (pauses, his eyes narrowing) So, why are you here?

Lori: (sighing, hands on her hips) We're looking for our brother. We'll be taking him away with us, so our family can at least be a little more intact.

Piccolo raised an eyebrow at her statement, his skepticism obvious.

Piccolo: (dryly) A noble sentiment, coming from Saiyans. But why now? Why go looking for him after all this time?

Lori: (gritting her teeth) Because someone, some dumbass, thought it was a good idea to bring Frieza back to life. You know as well as I do what that means for everyone—not just us. We Saiyans need to stay together. He's family. That's all there is to it.

Piccolo: (folding his arms) And what happens if he doesn't want to go with you? Or if he's no longer the brother you remember?

Lori: (sharply) Then we'll remind him. By force if we have to.

The tension between the Saiyan sisters and Piccolo thickened, the weight of their words hanging in the air. Leni and Lily shifted uncomfortably, Lucy remained still, Luan cracks her neck, and Lisa adjusts her goggles.

Piccolo: Hmph. Really? And what's your brother's name?

Lori: Lenturo, but he's calling himself Lincoln right now.

Piccolo: Well, good news and bad news. Good news is I know who your talking about. Bad news, he won't remember you.

Lori: And why's that?

Piccolo: Due to being in suspended animation for like 11 years, his brain sort of deleted a lot of his memories.

Lori's sharp gaze hardened as she absorbed Piccolo's explanation. Her lips pressed into a thin line, and her golden tail twitched, betraying her frustration. The other sisters exchanged glances, their expressions ranging from concern to determination.

Lori: (gritting her teeth) Suspended animation? Eleven years? What kind of experiment did he get caught up in?

Piccolo: (calmly) It wasn't by choice. He was in stasis, likely as part of an effort to preserve him after some catastrophic event. By the time he woke up, most of his past was gone, wiped clean. All he knows is what he's learned since then.

Lisa: (adjusting her goggles, intrigued) Fascinating. The prolonged suspension would have caused cellular stasis, but memory degradation indicates neural atrophy. His mind couldn't keep pace with his physical preservation.

Luan: (rolling her eyes) Yeah, nerd talk, thanks, Lisa. But does this mean he doesn't even know us anymore?

Piccolo: (firmly) Exactly. He wouldn't recognize you, and from what I've seen, he's built a new life for himself—one that might not include you.

Lori: (stepping forward, her aura faintly sparking) That's not for him to decide. We're his family. We've spent years trying to rebuild after everything that happened. If he's alive, he belongs with us.

Piccolo: (unflinching) Family isn't just blood. It's who you choose to fight for and stand with. If you force him back, you're no better than the Frieza Force you claim to despise.

Lucy: (softly, stepping beside Lori) He's right, Lori. If Lincoln—or Lenturo—doesn't remember us, we have to approach this carefully. Otherwise, we'll lose him all over again.

Leni: (frowning, looking conflicted) But what if he doesn't want to come with us at all? What do we do then?

Lori: (firmly, looking at all her sisters) Then we'll remind him of who he is, no matter what it takes.

Piccolo: (smirking faintly) Typical Saiyan stubbornness. Just remember—if you push too hard, you might break what little connection he has left to you.

Lori takes off her scouter and tosses it to Leni.

Lori: I have kept this family alive for 11 years! And I'm not about to give up on any of them!

Lori begins to power up, flaring a blue aura while Piccolo remains unfazed.

Piccolo: A noble sentiment, but...

Piccolo grabs his turban and cape and tosses them off, cracking his neck and knuckles.

Piccolo: A poor choice in actions.

As Lori's blue aura flared around her, the air on the Lookout grew tense, crackling with energy. Her eyes narrowed, filled with determination and a simmering anger. The other Saiyan sisters stepped back, giving her space but watching closely, their expressions a mix of worry and anticipation.

Leni: (catching the scouter) Lori, maybe we should—

Lori: (cutting her off sharply) No! This has gone on long enough. If he's going to stand in our way, then I'll make him move.

Piccolo: (calmly, his voice steady) You don't know what you're getting into, Saiyan. Fighting me won't bring your brother back any faster.

Lori: (gritting her teeth) It's not about fighting you. It's about proving I'll do whatever it takes for my family.

Without another word, Lori surged forward, her fists crackling with energy as she closed the distance between her and Piccolo in the blink of an eye. She threw a powerful punch aimed at his chest, but Piccolo effortlessly blocked it with one hand.

Piccolo: (smirking faintly) Is this really all you've got?

Lori: (growling) You haven't seen anything yet!

She twisted, launching a flurry of kicks and punches, her movements precise and relentless. Piccolo dodged and deflected her strikes with minimal effort, his expression remaining calm and unreadable.

Luan glanced nervously between Lori and Piccolo as the fierce exchange of blows continued to shake the Lookout. Energy flared and dissipated with each strike, causing ripples in the surrounding air. She stepped closer to Lisa, who was calmly observing the battle with her scouter and goggles.

Luan: (concerned) Are you sure? Lori's giving it everything she's got, and Piccolo's just... toying with her.

Lisa: (adjusting her goggles, her voice clinical) Affirmative. The energy differential is significant. The Namekian is barely exerting himself. If we were to intervene, the result would be negligible, and we might even hinder Lori's performance.

Lily: Nerd translation, we'd just get in the way.

Lisa: (nodding) Precisely. Lori's fighting to prove a point, not necessarily to win. Intervening would undermine her intentions.

Luan: (wrapping her arms around herself) I just don't like seeing her struggle like this...

Lucy: (calmly, her eyes hidden beneath her bangs) Struggle tempers resolve. If Lori's conviction is strong enough, she'll either push through or learn her limits. Both outcomes are valuable.

Lily: But Piccolo isn't even trying! That's not fair!

Meanwhile, Lori channels ki to form two azure and dark blue lightning large energy spheres in hand to fire them both at Piccolo.

Lori: Double Punisher!

Lori unleashed the Double Punisher, hurling the massive spheres of crackling azure and dark blue energy toward Piccolo. The twin blasts tore through the air, creating shockwaves that rattled the Lookout. The energy seemed to scream with raw power, lighting up the battlefield as it closed in on Piccolo.

Piccolo: (calmly, his expression unfazed) Impressive, but reckless.

With a sharp motion, Piccolo raised his hands, forming a glowing barrier of green energy. The two spheres collided with the shield, erupting in a deafening explosion that sent shockwaves rippling across the Lookout. Smoke and dust engulfed the area as the sisters shielded themselves from the blast's force.

Leni: (clutching her scouter) Oh no! Did she get him?

Lucy: (quietly, her voice steady) Doubtful.

As the smoke cleared, Piccolo emerged, completely unharmed, his barrier dissipating with ease. He lowered his hands, his expression shifting from calm to slightly stern.

Piccolo: (stepping forward) If that's the best you can do, then this fight is over.

Piccolo: (stepping forward) If that's the best you can do, then this fight is over.

Lori: (panting) Not... Yet... (thinking) If I can myself push harder, maybe I can achieve the myth of Super Saiyan...

Piccolo noticed Lori's intentions as she powers up again, she was trying to use him to push herself to become Super Saiyan, but she was just brute forcing it, she wasn't in true rage.

Piccolo: (thinking) She's just trying to brute force her way into Super Saiyan, she has no rage behind her power. She'll never reach Super Saiyan at that rate.

Lori's aura erupted into a blazing inferno of blue energy, lightning sparking wildly around her as she pushed herself to the edge of her limits. Her golden tail uncoiled from her waist, whipping through the air in sync with her trembling body. She screamed with raw determination, her voice echoing across the Lookout.

Lori: (thinking) I can feel it... just a little more! I have to break through! I have to become a Super Saiyan!

Her sisters stood back, their scouters chirping frantically as they tracked the skyrocketing energy levels. The tension in the air was palpable.

Lisa: (adjusting her goggles, frowning) Her power is spiking erratically. It's increasing rapidly, but... it's not stable. She's forcing it.

Lucy: (calmly) She doesn't have the trigger. Super Saiyan isn't about brute force. It's emotion—real emotion.

Leni: (nervously) What if she hurts herself? I don't want her to... you know...

Luan: (clenching her fists) Come on, Lori... You've got this, but don't overdo it!

Piccolo stood a short distance away, his arms crossed. His sharp eyes analyzed Lori's energy output, and a flicker of concern crossed his face. Despite her immense effort, something was missing.

Piccolo: (thinking) She's determined, I'll give her that. But she's trying to brute force it. That's not how it works. Without the spark of true emotional intensity, she'll only drain herself.

Lori's screams grew louder as her aura peaked in one final, desperate surge. Lightning crackled with explosive force, but instead of transforming, the energy abruptly fizzled out. Her body trembled violently before collapsing onto the ground, her breathing labored and her muscles quivering with exhaustion.

Her sisters gasped, rushing toward her, but Piccolo raised a hand, signaling them to stop. He stepped forward, his expression hardening.

Piccolo: (serious) Enough. You've pushed yourself far enough. This ends now.

Lori: (struggling to rise, her voice trembling) No... I can still... I can...

Piccolo shook his head, recognizing that words alone wouldn't reach her. His eyes narrowed as his aura began to surge, his power radiating outward in a massive wave.

The once-green glow around him darkened, and his body expanded with raw strength as he tapped into his enhanced form. His orange skin glinted in the sunlight, and his aura burned with an intense heat.

Piccolo's transformation into his Orange form was nothing short of overwhelming. The sheer force of his energy rippled across the Lookout, creating powerful gusts of wind that swept the Saiyan sisters off balance. His orange skin gleamed in the sunlight, muscles bulging with unimaginable power, while his glowing aura cast an eerie light over the battlefield.

Lori lay on the ground, her body frozen, every fiber of her being screaming at her to move, but she couldn't. It was as if her instincts had overridden her will, warning her that continuing would lead to certain defeat. Her golden tail twitched weakly as she gritted her teeth in frustration.

Lori: (thinking) Damn it... I can't... move... Why?

The other sisters stared in shock, their scouters blaring erratic beeps as they attempted to process Piccolo's power level.

Lisa: (frantically pressing buttons on her scouter) Impossible... His power isn't registering! The scouter keeps giving an error reading!

Seeing no need to continue, Piccolo's intense aura began to fade. His massive muscles receded, and the orange hue of his skin returned to its usual green. Within moments, he was back in his base form, his expression calm but firm as he addressed the group.

Piccolo: (firmly) That's enough. Continuing this fight serves no purpose.

Lori, still struggling to lift herself, glared at him through labored breaths.

Lori: (weakly) You... didn't have to stop... I... could've kept going...

Piccolo: (crossing his arms) No, you couldn't. Your instincts know when a battle is lost, even if your pride doesn't. Pushing further would've only led to injury—or worse. (turning toward Dende) Dende, heal her exhaustion.

Piccolo glanced at the rest of the Saiyan women, his tone unyielding.

Piccolo: (firmly) When he's done, leave. This Lookout isn't your training ground, and I won't tolerate further disruptions.

Dende hesitated for a moment but nodded, stepping forward. Placing his hands over Lori, he closed his eyes as a warm, golden light surrounded her. Lori felt her strength slowly returning, though her frustration lingered.

Lori: (gritting her teeth, thinking) Leave? After all this? We're not done yet...

Before anyone could speak, a new burst of energy filled the air. Luna, Lynn, Lola, and Lana soared up to the Lookout, their armor damaged by their fight with Lincoln and Gotenks.

Luna: (landing, her voice tense) What the hell's going on up here? We felt that power spike from miles away!

Lynn: (locking eyes on Piccolo) So, you're the one showing off!

Without hesitation, Lynn launched herself at Piccolo, her fist glowing with charged energy as she closed the distance in an instant.

Luna: (shouting) Lynn, wait—!

But it was too late. Piccolo didn't even flinch. With a single, fluid motion, he swatted Lynn aside with the back of his hand, sending her crashing into the ground with enough force to leave a small crater. The impact shook the Lookout, and dust rose around her fallen form.

Lola: (gasping) Lynn!

Piccolo: (eyes closed, sighing) Another reckless fool.

Turning his gaze back to Dende, Piccolo gestured toward Lynn's prone figure.

Piccolo: (calmly) This one too.

Dende hurried over to Lynn, his face one of exasperation as he prepared to heal her. The Saiyan sisters looked on in stunned silence, realizing for the first time just how far out of their depth they truly were.

As the tension hung heavy in the air, a sudden shift in energy caught everyone's attention. Before anyone could react, Goku and Vegeta popped into existence, Goku's Instant Transmission depositing them squarely in the center of the Lookout.

Goku: (grinning) Whoa, ten Saiyan women? That's not something you see every day.

Vegeta: (crossing his arms, his gaze sharp) So this is the commotion we sensed from Beerus' planet.

The Saiyan sisters froze, their eyes locking on Vegeta. Recognition swept across their faces, disbelief clear in their expressions.

Saiyan Sisters: Prince Vegeta!?

To Be Continued...

That's all for now! Bye!
