Dragonpaw awakes to the sound of rain tapping on the roof. She rolls around in her nest and sighs.
"Good morning, Dragonpaw" a sweet small voice says.
Dragonpaw twirls around to see Briarpaw sitting in her nest.
"Mornin'." Dragonpaw mews back. She twirls around looking for Amberpaw.
"You're not going to find her," Briarpaw says quietly, "She's out on the dawn patrol with Dewleaf"
Suddenly, a grey tabby and sand colored apprentice ran into the den. Jetpaw and Springpaw, Dragonpaw noted to herself. Noticing that Briarpaw and Dragonpaw were in the den, the apprentices dry themselfs off, and try to look cool.
"What's up twerps?" Springpaw smirked "Are you scared of the rain???"
They started laughing, which made Briarpaw blush with embarrassment.
"Hey!" A voice behind them shouted.
Jetpaw and Springpaw whirled around.
"You shouldn't be picking on my friends!!!" The puff of orange stated.
It's either Flamepaw or Amberpaw, Dragonpaw muttered to herself. Dragonpaw sighed and curled up in her bed and watch the drama unfold. Her ears went down as she her yowls from Amberpaw, Jetpaw, and Springpaw. Silkleaf, Briarpaw's mentor, padded over into the apprentice den quietly and sat next to her.
"There's a little issue..."
