Okay prepare yourself for a rant.... if any of you do see this- 

I'm A Try Hard, Not For You, But For Me.

This is for the my PE teacher who told my sister that I'm a try-hard.

For some reason this made me really mad and super annoyed, because heck I'm a try-hard and I view it as a good thing, but the context they said it in made it seem like a bad thing.

I try hard because I want good grades. I try hard because I want to be fit. I try had because I want to become stronger and faster. I try hard, for myself, not for some teacher's favor. I'm in the harder PE class because I chose to be. 

If I wasn't a try-hard I wouldn't have people take advantage of my work ethic and have me do a whole group project by myself.

So know this, I'm a try-hard because I want to be. And that's a good thing. I'm a try hard, not for you, but for me. For those who tell me otherwise, you can just forget, because you can't change my mind.

The Teacher in this is still my favorite teacher this year, but what they said stuck in my head and made me feel bad about myself, because what? Because I tried?! Like what the heck? Why?
