So this is for j3llytoast cause they asked on how others shade....i will try my best

So above is the piece enigma in flight without shading and below is with shading

Here is a picture of just the shading and I will explain my process to the best of my abilities

So I start off with a black air brush and shade in the spots that should be the darkest (under the chin, around the edges of the body to give it a 3d look, around the edges of the horns) then I use a white airbrush to highlight the center of the body and the center of the horns and stuff. Then I use a lighter and darker airbrush, than the color of the scales, on the scales to make then seem like they are overlapping....hope that helps some.

Mostly I just do trial and error. I also use a bluring tool to make the shading look more natural.....the pictures do more than my explaining XD
