Why did I write this?

(Quick thing, literally the entire swim team are OC's unless specified otherwise, except the Victor children and a certain other are not OC's.)

I've been doing good in swim meets. People there understand if you don't want to talk, you don't have too, and they still try to include you in conversations. It's been amazing working at Sister Margaret's, even if it was secretly, and I quickly became friends with Wade, Weasel, and his buddy Dopineder, (did I spell that right?) I even get a pretty penny sometimes when the patrons convince me to sing, although it only ever when a big fight brakes out that needs to stop. I always wear a mask at work though, due to Weasel's insistence.

Thankfully I can still talk to Wade outside the Hellhouse because he knows what I look like.

It's been colder the further we get into October, not that I mind. I've spent a lot of time up in Winterhold and Dawnstar, most of my time really, and vampires already have extra resistance to the cold. If anything, the weather is just making me more comfortable. The only problem is Flash.

After Star nearly broke his nose and said she had a boyfriend, and since he knows better than to constantly ask MJ, Flash has been flirting with me, which leads to right now.

"Hey princess," he purred. Excuse me while I gag. "Stop playing hard to get baby, you know you want me." I internally barf. As if, he is the LAST person here I would go out with, tied with Peter because he's like my brother.

I slam my locker closed, "And who said I'm playing any games?" I adjust the few books in my arms and he grabbed my shoulders, slamming me against the locker. I wince a bit, the lock digging into a wound I accidentally got last night at Sister Margaret's.

"Oh you are Princess." He growled, trying to sound seductive, "Come on, my father is rich, let me take you to a party. Only the best of the best will be there, and it's for Halloween at Ironman's. I know a costume," he leaned closer, "You would look absolutely ravishing in."

I slightly growled and pushed through him, throwing him away as I stalk off to class. I have just one more class, and then it's swim practice. I felt a small migraine forming, if Flash keeps up like this, it won't be long before he gets seriously hurt.

I groaned, heading off to my zoology class.

I sighed, checking my scars in the mirror. Most were on my torso, so I didn't bother to set an illusion spell on them most of the time. I shook my head, putting on a simple blue-green and black Ombre one piece. I walked outside and jumped into the pool with the others.

The coach doesn't really care much about what we do, as long as we train in some way. So really, it's more of the captain running things. Ours is Audrey Gosling (OC), and she has red-brown hair and bright green eyes. Her eyes don't look as good as Loki's tho- why did I think that.

Audrey's voice snapped me out of my internal feelings-panic.

"Alright guys," She clapped, "We've worked really hard the last couple days, I think we're ready to challenge Goode High this Friday, especially since their captain, Percy Jackson, is missing." She frowned, "He's the enemy, but I hope he's all right. Not dead or anything."

That caught my ear, what if he was dead? I'll have to ask Wade or Weasel if his name ever showed up on a gold card...

"So," Audrey continued, "Today we're just going to be having fun. Any ideas?"

One girl, Holly Victor, with black hair and fierce brown eyes spoke up, "How about a competition? Whoever can stay under the longest wins."

I smiled, this one would be easy. I would come up shortly after the last person though, just so I don't draw too much attention to myself, or my abilities.

"A diving contest after, then the winner decides the next game?" I asked with a smirk. They all nodded agreement and we dived under at the same time, holding hands so nobody was delayed. Cool thing is, there are only two boys on the team, and they weren't acting all offended about the hand thing.

Their names were Colton and Jimmy Dallan. They were twin brothers with dark blue eyes and brown hair, always with a mischievous smile on their faces. They often get told off by Artemis, a girl with auburn hair and silvery grey eyes that almost looks like they are searching for weakness, she's also captain of the Archery team and something about her radiates power, that makes me uneasy. She doesn't like Colton and Jimmy too much, or any guy really, but she puts up with them. Flash tried to ask her on a date once, and she broke his arm.

I suddenly shook my head and looked at Artemis and Audrey. Audrey was headed back up, and Artemis followed shortly after. I waited a moment, then swam upwards after them, making a small show of inhaling deeply once I broke.

"Well Commy, it would seem we have a few fish ladies," Colton said with a grin.

"Indeed Jilton," Jimmy hummed, "It would. Onto the diving contest!"

Aurdrey laughed a bit then sat beside the pool, "I'll rate the form."

We all climbed onto the boards, jumping and flipping our way down, trying to get minimal splash. The highest was Artemis, who got a 9.2. I stepped up onto the tallest board and stretched, before jumping down and somersaulting twice, and turning thrice and a half, then entering the water with a small splash, accidentally knocking my hand against the bottom of the pool, gaining a cut.

Audrey raised her sign, a 9.5.

I smiled and stepped out of the pool, squeezing a bit of water out of my hair, and turned to Audrey, "A race, from the deep end and back." She nodded and tossed me a waterproof bandage. Putting it on, I got back into the water.

Coach Hiller glanced up to check nobody was cheating and started the countdown, "Three, two, one, go!"

I sped off towards the deep end of the pool, relishing the feel of the water gliding past my skin as I moved. I tapped the edge, Artemis right behind me, and raced her neck and neck, towards the edge. I stuck my tongue out at her playfully and used a small burst of energy, smacking the tile as I clambered out.

The others followed me out of the pool quickly after. Colton and Jimmy smiled, "Looks like we have a winner Commy," Said Colton

"Indeed we do Jilton. Shall we?" grinned Jimmy.

"We shall." They both picked me up and walked over to the deep end, tossing me into the water. I snickered, and jumped out of the surface, pulling them both in with me. The others join, and we play around until Coach blows his whistle, signifying the end of practice.

We get out of the pool and Audrey turns to us, "Remember, the meet is against Goode High this Friday, we're the home team. 4pm, don't be late."

We all nodded and filed into the locker rooms, grabbing our stuff and putting on pullovers before we left.

I walked out with a wave and sat down on a step, dialing Tony's number.

It rang a moment before he picked up, "Yeah? Did you need Happy to come pick you up?"

I shook my head, then remembered he can't see me, "Nah. I just need to tell you I'll be a little late coming home."

"Why, did something happen at practice?"

"I need to ask a friend something, and it's not something that can be done well over a phone."

He chuckled and continued in a teasing tone, "Does Moon have a crush? Because you can bring them to that party on Halloween." I could practically hear him laughing.

I groaned, "No, Tony gross, he's just a friend I swear. I'll call you later." I quickly hung up before it could get any more awkward, and started my way towards the Hellhouse. (ShE's NoT jUsT a FrIeNd AdRiEn!)

I only got as far as a block away before I heard a cat-call and turned to see Flash swaggering up.

"Hey babe, you look good in that swimsuit. Just come back from the beach?" Excuse me while I barf, and remind me to burn this later.

"No you wafiit I came from swim practice." I rolled my eyes, continuing on my way. As soon as he left I would change into actual clothes, but I can't use magic while he's looking at me.

"Well," He purred, "I could walk you back home, I bet your house isn't as big as mine though, wanna come with me and see?" (Can someone kill me and save me the gag-inducement of writing this? Thanks...)

He put his hand on my shoulder and caught my arm with his other, "Where are you going?"

"None of your dam business Flash now leave me alone." I heated up my arm with magic until he let go, a fat pink spot on his arm. Just then Artemis came up and flipped him onto the concrete, twisting his arm uncomfortably.

I smiled and waved my thanks, walking away towards Sister Margaret's. She didn't say anything, but I saw her nod in affirmation. Something about her eyes though... I shivered, I swear it feels like she's still following me. I darted into an alley next to the entrance to Hell's Kitchen and checked around for any prying eyes. I then magicked my swimsuit and cover up back home, a crimson shirt with a black rose and black leggings taking its place. switching my flip flops with the boots I keep in my satchel, I grabbed my mask for when I enter the Hellhouse,

After a bit of walking the wind picks up and I smell something. Something like a wild forest, wolves, and arrow polish, with just a hint of pool scent. I turned around, my suspicions proving correct when I saw a glance of silver eyes hiding in the shadows near the dumpster. Artemis was indeed following me.

I picked up into a run, the majority of shady types knowing not to bother me by now. I heard the faintest patter of light footsteps through the ground, and ran quicker. Everything was darkening in the late afternoon light, the smell of alcohol, smoke, and cigars mixed in my nose, muddling into all one scent, the faintest sounds echoing off the buildings. The scent of blood and sword polish however caught my attention, and I swerved, rushing to Sister Margarets, where faint laughter and one of the daily brawls was happening. I stopped, however, at an alley where two men were waiting around. Those two were often here, and I could sometimes sneak them a drink or a bit of food from the bar.

"Guys?" I asked, glancing behind me.

They looked up, "What can we do for you M'lady?"

I groaned softly, "Please stop calling me that." They snickered a bit and I continued, "Can you throw that girl," they peeked behind me to where Artemis was coming up the rise, "off my trail? She cannot find Sister Margarets!"

They nodded and left the alley with a decoy of my satchel, I waited a few moments then peeked out. Artemis wasn't there any more.

I slipped on my mask, and entered the Hellhouse.

'Line?' I called with my mind, 'Bold? Are you two and Wade in here?'

Yeah we're here, Bold said.

And just about time! Line piped up, Wade got caught in another fight over food, and ol' Weasel doesn't want to get another table. Mind helping us out?

I nodded, then mentally facepalmed when I realized they had already left. Following the sounds of fighting, I saw Wade fighting again with Domino over Mexican food.

(I love this place!) Said Angelo

<Don't even think about Sunshine> reprimanded Sol

"Stop fighting," I stated, looking Sol, Angelo, Domino, and Wade in the eyes, "Both of you. Break it up before you owe Weasel a new table. Domino sighed and left, sheathing her weapons, and Wade happily ate the chimichanga he won.

Domino groaned and ruffled my hair, only to get a half-hearted glare, "Your lucky I like you squirt." She said. I had gotten on her good side quick after accepting a sword duel, only for me to get a single blow in before Weasel pulled us apart and lectured me, 'don't start a fight with mercs!'

"Hiya Moon, how ya been?" Wade asked, pulling his mask back down again.

"I'm fine, but has anyone shown up on a card with the name Percy, or Perceus Jackson?"

He hummed a moment, "You mean that kid who's been missing for like five months? Nope, why?"

I sighed, "Ya know how I had that fourth voice? That one that mysteriously disappeared?"

"Yeah?"

"Well all my voices have bodies in my mind...And the body of the fourth voice looked exactly like Percy. He even went by the name Perce, before I knew Percy even existed in the first place."

He put on a thinking face, well I assume, and sat silent for a moment, "No idea. But I heard you with the two guys in the alley, Be careful going home. Oh," He perked up, "And I made my decision! I'm going next week! I can't wait to see Peter!"

I clapped my hands and gave him a small side-hug before turning to leave. Wade was only 17, and dropped out when he got the scars and voices. He was coming back, it would be great fun. Then the last bit sunk in, and I flipped around.

"Wait did you say Peter? As in, used-to-have-an-Aunt-May Peter?"

He blinked, "Yeah why?"

"Seriously?" I started laughing hysterically, "He's my adoptive brother! This'll be rich!"

"Wait, adoptive brother? Your parents a-sorry." He quickly broke off after I glared at him, reminding him I don't have birth parents any more, "But yes. He's your brother?"

I nodded, "Yeah, adopted by the same people. How do you know him?" I raised a brow.

He grinned, "Ok, I swear it wasn't because of a gold card. But basically, you aren't the only one who wanders around the city sometimes." I nodded, and waved, leaving. I didn't like his vague answer, but it is what it is.

I started walking back to the tower when a newbie tried mugging me.

"Give me that satchel little girl, and nobody gets hurt." He had a knife, and I quickly surveyed him. Tall with a bit of muscle, but mainly his bulk was all for show. His stance could use some work, and I scoffed, this will be all too easy.

I walked up, dodging the blade twice, and grabbing his wrist the third time. He caught my arm slightly in the process, but it really wasn't that bad, a glancing scrape. I twisted his hand until he dropped the blade, and then kicked him where the moons don't shine. I picked up the knife, inspecting it, and jabbed it slightly into his arm as a warning. He fled quickly, and now I have a new knife.

A figure dressed in red dropped from a roof, no eye-holes in his mask. He must be blind.

"I was going to save you," He said, "But it seems you've got it covered. Why'd you come to Hell's Kitchen? There's a lot more dangerous thugs around than just your random mugger."

"Visiting someone," I said vaguely, throwing the knife and it embedded itself into the brick of a nearby building. I smiled, picking it back up. Nat would enjoy this. "Besides," I laughed, "I can clearly take care of myself. Adios." I buried the knife in my satchel along with my mask and exited the dark street, headed toward the Tower.

I heard him call as I walked away, "Call me DareDevil."

What a strange dude.
