Through space of time, they flew pass stars and seen glimpse of planets too. During the trip, Kouyo held her protector's hand tightly so she won't lose grip of hers as they went in incredible speed. She stared up at Kura and studied her face as time around them moved pretty quick.

When I looked at her I remembered the last time she smiled softly but this time it was different. Her face smiled but her eyes didn't. They didn't glow with passion; they never did not for awhile. Her being my protector, she takes this job very seriously and never lets her soul rest. As a friend, I want her to feel happiness instead of watching others enjoy theirs. It destroys me inside to see her like this. Like a doll with few words...

How many times I've tried to make her smile for real, real enough to see that passion again. It's hopeless...When I asked her to smile, she smiles but it's not the same one I wanted to see.

"Kouyo we have arrived." Kura's voice pulled me out of my thoughts as I looked at her.

"Oh! Haven't realized we're here." I chuckled nervously scratching my cheek. I stood next to Kura as we examined our surroundings. From where we stood, we spotted Beerus's palace from distance.

The palace rested into the side of the tremendous tree and the scenery I've seen so far, this one catches my attention...So completely, yet strange.

Silence was ruined when we heard noises from distance Kura looked over her shoulder and saw explosions that seemed far too close. Kura quickly moved to the cover of a nearby boulder as I let out a little yelp as she pulled me along with her, protecting me from harm.

"W-what is it?" I asked her as I picked myself up; rubbing the new formed goose egg on my forehead. *Yeah, she protected me alright...but not from the fall...* I winced then stood behind Kura.

She didn't answered me right away she kept on examining the area making sure it's safe for us to leave the spot and I asked her again. "Well? What was it?"

"I'm not sure but whatever it was, we are fortunate that it missed us." Kura answered without a doubt.

"Phew! That's good to hear, I wasn't ready for that!"

Kura and I both stopped and looked at each for a moment right after we heard a voice, we couldn't identify it. "Strange, I thought I heard a voice?"

"I heard it too Kouyo. Please stay close." She extended her hand behind, in a protective matter. While Kura was looking around, trying to find where that voice came from. I looked over my shoulder and my eyes met a different set of eyes. Dark eyes, he had spiky black hairstyle, and a lighter skin complexion to him.

He let out cheeky grin and spoke. "Hi there, my name is Goku!"

"EEP!!" I collapsed by his sudden surprise this alerted Kura as she took action.

She immediately teleported herself right in front of me and send a punch to his face but the man quickly stopped her attack. I shocked and to say, this man looked pretty excited and he spoke again.

"Amazing! You came really fast! Boy, lucky I stopped your attack I could've been a goner!"

Kura scowled at him defiantly and snatched her hand from his clenches then carried me in a bridal style and leaped further away from the strange man that stood in front of us. He gave us a dumbfounded look. Now that I could see his full appearance, he wore strange clothing but it looked very heavy to wear...and it looked uncomfortable?

Then Kura set me down and pulled me behind her as her eyes still remain on him like a predator to prey... "He looks friendly." I said as Kura pulled me closer. "I doubt it." She muttered and started questioning him.

"Who are you and where did you come from? More importantly, what are you doing on Lord Beerus's planet?"

His face lighted with surprised. "Wait! You know Lord Beerus!? Wow I didn't know he had friends."

Kura scowls at him. "I am not one of his friends!" I simply slip pass her as I took couple of leaps and confronted the man. Kura notices this and starts to panic. "Kouyo! What are you doing!? Get back here!!"

I felt her concern for me was serious as I motioned my hand for her, letting her know its okay.

"It's alright Kura, this man is no threat." I return my sights on him and recognized this man right away.

"I saw you before." I said taking a step close to his face, studying his figures. "You did?" He said scratching the back of his head.

"Yep! Ray told and reveal to me that you are a being called a saiyan." I asked him as he stared with amazement.

"Wow, this Ray person really knows what I am, huh? Is he some kind of God?"

I giggled. "No silly, Ray is a magic orb, a pink one of course and is known as Ray of Wisdom...Uh what's your name again?"

"Oh! My name is Goku!" He extends his hand out for me to shake. I stared for a moment then shook his hand. "My name is Kouyo and the woman over there is Kura." I said pointed at her. "Say hello Kura!" I shouted.

Kura just crossed her arms and turned her head aside. "Sorry about that, Kura can be stubborn at times."

"Hey, don't worry about it! That' how Vegeta is too." Goku lets a small laugh. "Who's Vegeta?" I asked.

"Vegeta is a saiyan like me and we on Lord Beerus's planet for some serious training!" He said with excitement raising both of his hands, forming a fist. *He really loves training doesn't he?*

"Training for what? And where is this Vegeta fella?" I asked.

"Well...We kinda got separated when Lord Beerus started taking his anger on us because he thinks we ruin his nap. For your next question, we are training here to become stronger." I was shocked when Goku told me about Beerus and I smiled to myself. *That's Beerus alright.*

 Goku was about to say something until someone called out his name. "KAKAROT!"

That voice came behind Goku as we all stared. Kura teleported right in front of me again in a protective stance. The man appeared from the forest, his hair is black and spiked with same colored eyes and he was wearing the same suit as Goku but it seems he had a hard time running in it.

"Oh, there he is!" Goku pointed at him. "Hey Vegeta!" He waved at him cheerfully.

"DON'T HELLO ME! I WAS NEARLY KILLED!" He shouted at Goku.

"Aw, come on don't be like that I was nearly killed too!" He whined.

When Vegeta joined Goku, he saw Kura and I. "Who are they? New friends of yours, Kakarot." He scoffed as he arms crossed.

"Uh...Well, I sort of met them and guess what! They are Lord Beerus's friends!"

"Oh really? Is that so? "He said sounding disbelief then continued. "Well, some friends. They're just weak little girls." Vegeta commented with a smirk.

After he said that. I felt Kura's Ki rise up as she slowly approached Vegeta, staring down him with her icy eyes. "Don't let my looks fool you...I may be a woman but I can fight. I don't pull hair, I break bones."She sends chills down to his spine.

Goku and I watched closely as Kura stopped and stood in front of Vegeta. "Never insult Kouyo; if you do...I'll break you."

After she warned him, she strikes Vegeta downward. Knocking the air out of his body as he groans in pain. Then Goku rush to go help up Vegeta since he can't get up with that suit on.

"Wow! She's really strong!" Goku said with amazement."You should never mess with a woman like her Vegeta."

"Shut up..."Vegeta muttered.

"KURA!?" I shouted at her as she stood next to me with her arms crossed.

"What? He deserves it and the likes of him should never insult the bride of Lord Beerus." Kura said.

"WHAT!?" The Saiyans shouted at the same time in shocked as Goku let's go of Vegeta. Letting him fell back to the ground. "Wait, Kouyo is Beerus's bride!? Like marriage!!?

"Yes, Goku that's why I'm here." I answered kindly but someone decided to join our conversation.

"So, this is where you two Saiyans were hiding?" We all glanced up and see Beerus floating in the air with Whis beside him.

"Beerus." I said gazing his adult appearance."It's been a while." I said with affectionate smile. He looked down at me with confusion. "Do I know you?"

My heart sink when I heard his reply.*HE DOESN'T REMEMBER ME!!?*
