He is known as the strongest "Human" Patroller, but he's not exactly a normal human, even by warriors that are adept with ki, he was originally a child who was kidnapped and experimented and trained(and tortured) into a living weapon, and e ended up having two modes, one a normal boy, and the other a bloodthirsty killer which he could turn into at will, he escaped and slaughtered everyone when he was 11, later on in his teen years he became known as an assassin and notorious killer "The Grim Ripper". In his adult years after learning inner piece and learned ki, he was recruited by the Supreme Kai of Time to help atone for his passed crimes and even find a new purpose, and even had his potential unleashed. But he was eventually captured and experimented on by Towa, it resulted in him getting a new, darker version of the Mystic power he achieved and he broke free,he learned demon slaying techniques and had fully conquered his demons. He is a warrior who is shrouded in darkness but serves the light.
