A/N hey guys I think I have been making you wait for to long, so I'll stop delaying the chapters and I hope you enjoy! by the way y'all get to meet a new friend ;)

The kid fell asleep on my lap and I waited for her to be in deep sleep before I got up to look for a proper place to stay for the night. I stepped over the long grass making swishing sounds every time I passed a cattail. The grass was soft and cold, so I covered (y/n) with my jacket and I walked back to the path that we were on. She wiggled around a little and I basically bounced her a little thinking it would work and it did. I guess she was never bounced before since she got so comfortable right away. I smiled a little and I walked down the path trying to at least look for a cave or something. 

I walked for a while getting a little tired myself, I usually don't go to sleep until like 11:00 or something. (y/n) fell asleep at 8:00 so I had enough time to walk around without waking her. I have finally found a cave and it looked like it had some vines covering it, I smiled in relief and I walked over to the cave and moved the vines to the side so I could get in. I gently put (y/n) down next to a pile of leaves that I made with my foot. I covered her back up with my jacket and I sat down against the wall next to her. 

I looked down and basically stared at the little girl before me. She was so small and so very vulnerable, she was raised by a dragon...how many people you know could say that? exactly no one, but her. I heard her mumble in her sleep about Mridul I sighed and looked down at my hands.   I was getting sleepy so I layed down next to her and I layed on my back just looking at the black ceiling of the cave. I was than falling asleep and I turned over to little (y/n) and i put my arm around her my protectiveness kicking in and I fell asleep.

"Jaaaaaaaaaaaax......JAAAAAAAAX!" "WHAT!" "I'M HUNGRY" "fuck.." "Fuck?" "NO NO NO PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT WORD!" I yelled and I got up from my spot. It looked like (y/n) was awake for a while since I seen some of the vines have been ripped from their spot. It smelled like it rained not to long ago, but I didn't hear any lightning or thunder so i'm guessing it was just soft rain. "Jax? can we have pancakes again? I'm really hungry." (y/n) said and I looked at her and she was holding her stomach and whining. "Well we are a little to far from that town, but I know someone that is close that could give you some food." I said and I got out the cave. 

"Jax? is this person mean?" She asked me and when I started walking she instantly clutched on to my hand and looked up at me. I smiled and chuckled, I picked her up and put her on my hip. "Well he ain't that bad, he can be a little loud though." I said and I heard her say a little 'oh' I chuckled and I pat her back reassuring her and I eventually found the path that we were on last night and I started walking to my friends cabin.  

(y/n) was looking around at the trees and I noticed some of the leafs on them were changing colors. That was a bad sign, if I can't help (y/n) find her dragon father sooner she'll probably freeze in the damn winter. Plus all she has is a damn small red dress. I looked around and I seen my friends cabin, I got really happy and I pointed to my friends cabin to (y/n) and she also got super excited. "He better have pancakes." (y/n) said in a pouting face and she crossed her arms. I smirked and I walked up to my friends door steps. I knocked and waited at least 6 seconds and I heard loud footsteps coming to the door and then the door swung open. 

(y/n) squeaked and I laughed. "Jax? what the hell are you doing here? and who the hell is the kid? DUDE IS SHE?!" "NO SHE AIN'T MINE" "oh. Well hey girly whats your name?" He asked her and she looked him up and down before answering. "My name is (y/n)." She said softly and he smiled softly and told us to come in. I smelt the pancakes and I think she did to since she started to bounce in my  arms. "PANCAKES! PANCAKES! PANCAKES!" She started to chant and my friend laughed and told us to go ahead and sit at the table. 

I sat (y/n) down in one of the chairs and I pushed her in gently and I sat in the chair next to her. I seen my friend come back and he put down some plates with at least 4 pancakes on them and (y/n) squeaked in excitement and she dug in. I chuckled and I ate some of mine. "So Jax mind telling me who that little girl is?" He asked me and I looked over at (y/n) and she looked at me. "Hey want to tell him who you are?" I asked her and she nodded her head swallowing her food.

After I nodded to Jax I swallowed my food and I looked over to his friend. I looked him up and down again and he had black tight shirt on and he looked buff, he had black hair and blue eye's. His skin was a little dark and he had a white smile. "Even though you already know my name I will tell you again anyways, My name is (y/n) I was raised by my father Mridul he's a dragon." I said and after I said that. The big guy had a surprised look and then he roared a mighty laugh. I sat there wondering what was happening and after a while of him noticing that we weren't laughing with him he stopped and looked even more surprised.

"Wait (y/n) are you telling the truth?" he asked me "I don't like to lie Mridul said it's bad." I said and he than looked at Jax and Jax smirked. "That's the truth." He said and the big guy leaned back in his chair and sighed. "Well (y/n) that is some information to take in, by the way I didn't tell you my name. My name is Gideon it's nice to meet you." He said and I smiled. "It's nice to meet you to!" I cheerfully said.
