Chapter 9
Shizukas pov.

"KAKASHI SENSEI!" The trio yelled in fear as Bakashi fell motionless on the ground. I looked over at him in disappointment.

"Stupid Bakashi." I muttered as I yanked him up and tossed his arm around my shoulder, "relax children. Bakashi here is just a little tired." I turned to tazuna, "now. Where's your house again?"

I trudged back through the first village I ever traveled to with a twenty something year old man lugging behind me. Memories swept over my mind like clouds on a sunny day as wet coughs escaped my throat. The familiar gooey liquid settled on my tongue as I resisted the urge to spit it out onto someone's silver hair.

"Oh my god. Is that you shi?" A voice from behind me stopped me in my tracks. I flipped around faster then I've ever moved to meet eyes with a pair of soft glowing gold ones. "SHI!" The girl yelled. She rushed over to me in a whisk of green.

I dropped the body on the ground in a thump and threw whatever I was doing to the side. My legs sprinted at the green haired girl at a record speed. With tears brimmed on the edge of my eyes, I collided with her in a suffocating hug but I could've (or was is couldn't) cared less that my lungs were collapsing from the lack of oxygen. "Ruka!"

"Oh my kami shi, I thought I would never see you again yet here you are!!" She exclaimed as she broke away from the hug. "Wait. Why are you here."

"Oh. The old man needed some ninja to ensure his safety on his way back." I tossed my head back, motioning to tazuna. "But he had too little money so because of that, we got sent on what was supposed to be a simple and harmless mission, but it actually full of rogues out for his blood. So. Yea. Here I am." My cheeks lifted up to a smile. However, that was cut off quickly when a hacking cough escaped my mouth, along with the black goo. Thankfully Mizu somehow managed to control his water to block it before it hit ruka smack on the face.

She looked at me in concern. "Are you okay shi? How's the, you know." She trailed off then moved her hand up to wipe off the little bit of liquid left on my chin.

I sighed, "not good. According to Dasu, it's spreading even more."

"Aw shi. You should've stayed back." She scolded lightly.

I opened my mouth to speak but was quickly cut off by a little bitch named cherry. "So you're ruka?" She sneered with her nose high.

My eyes darkened as a low grow emitted from my throat. It took every ounce of strength I had to refrain from lashing out at her. "Relax shi. I got this." Ruka placed a hand on my shoulder then walked over to her.

"Yes. I am ruka. Please don't wear out my name." She gave her a closed eyes smile which quickly turned evil, "now. I don't know what the hell is wrong with you but I have a few things in mind. Let's start from the top. Your perfume reeks, its okay to put a dash on your arm but dumping the whole bottle on your self is a little much don't you think? And what's up with that cotton candy hair color? What genetics crates that monstrosity?" She stalked closer and yanked at cherrys dress, "and this! What is this? It doesn't even feel like Normal fabric? Where did you get this, the dollar store? And how did I miss that giant forehead of yours? If this whole ninja thing doesn't work out, you can just become a billboard on the side of the road!" Ruka cackled as she finished insulting her.

I snickered under my breath, "ah ruka. Still brutal as always." I swung my arm around her and flashed a Cheshire Cat smile.

"Um. Ryuu. Your sensei is still knocked out cold. Shouldn't we be bringing him back?" Tazuna questioned from the side poking the lump of human on the ground.

"Right. But what about ruka?" I turned to face him.

"It's fine shi. Go heal that old man!! Shoo!" She swatted her hands out causing me to chuckle and her to giggle.

My hands went up in surrender, "alright alright. I'll see you around Kay?"

"Kay."

"Stupid Bakashi still don't wake up." I muttered while poking his masked face in a pattern.

"Ryuu. I'm up." My hand was caught mid poke by the silver man whom seemed very sleep deprived and pissed off.

I rolled my eyes, "yea yea. Whatever. By the way, sexy cow mans still alive." He flopped back down in exhaustion.

"It seems you are correct. Sadly." He mumbled just as the door bust open letting three genin file in like mice.

"Kakashi sense is awake!!" Naruto yelled in joy.

I shut my eyes tightly and walked out, "I'll see you later. I'm tired. Call me when there's important stuff I should know."

"climb the trees." He bluntly said, "without hands."

"Oh. Chakra control, of course." I noted, "something I already learned multiple times. Anything else to learn crippled Bakashi?"

"WHAT? You already know all of this Ryuu?" Whiskers exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

"Hn"

"Wow, Ryuu kun, you're so smart!!" Cherry complimented in a glass breaking high pitched squeal.

A tick mark grew on the back of my head as I attempted to smile nicely but it didn't seem to work since she quickly looked away and avoided my gaze for the next couple minutes.

"Alright, how about you show them how it's done Ryuu." He stated more as a demand rather then a question.

I shrugged my shoulders and focused my chakra to my feet. It would've been a lot easier to just pull out chakra strands and swing around like Tarzan but that would have defeated The Whole purpose of chakra control.

I steadily walked up the trunk and made my way to the top of the tree. I pushed the leaves out of the way and looked out. (A/n just imagine that the buildings are worn down more. And the bridge should be right to the left of the sun.)

"Wow" I breathed out in awe. My eyes closed and enjoyed the warmth of the sun for another couple minutes before...

Snap

A branch beneath me broke.

Screams echoed throughout the forest from my teammates.

My body fell backwards and I panicked for a split second before my reflexes kicked in.

My hand grabbed out, latching onto a nearby branch which then also broke but bought me  enough time to spring out my chakra strands.

Then I leapt around the forest Tarzan style while also yelling at the top of my lungs.

"WOOHOO" I screamed smiling like a lunatic.

But sadly, my fun came to a stop when I finally landed on the ground in a thump.

"Well done Ryuu." He complimented with a closed eyes smile. "Now. The rest of you try it while Ryuu and I go work on something more complicated."

"Chakra."

"Um. Did you not just see me swing around like fucking Tarzan? I think I've gotten chakra under control." I scoffed out.

Kakashi sweatdropped then pulled out a piece of paper like material. "Place your hand on this then place some chakra in it."

I looked up at him hesitantly then put one of my fingers on it to test out if it was a trap. Once I got the all clear, I placed my hand flat on the material.

The surge of chakra went through and the paper broke up into tiny pieces that molded into glowing white butterflies.

"Fascinating." Kakashi noted, "alright, you can go now."

I cocked my head to the side confused as hell, "what."

"You heard me, go back to the house. Rest. We'll call you down for dinner later. Just get some rest for now."

I ignored the weird feeling in the out of my stomach and followed his order anyway.
