Gajeel's Pov, 

I felt Levy was calling me as I turned my head toward the direction of the other lake. "The others are in trouble" I nearly shouted to Laxus and Mira. We were about to run to the other lake as the ground started to shake. We turned our heads to see squid monsters coming out of our lake as the sun was nearly fully down. "If we have the monsters, what is hurting the others?" Mira asked worried as my mind went to dark places. I started to get worried for Levy. She was only small. "Gajeel go to the others, we got these guys" Laxus ordered.

I nodded knowing Laxus and Mira were the strongest of the team. I started running toward the other lake as I heard thunder behind me. Laxus must of wanted to deal with them fast. I headed right to the other lake to see Lucy looking at Levy with relief as she was coughing water onto the ground. I saw she was badly hurt and I could sense she had barely any magic in her. I started to get mad. I looked around to see Natsu trying to punch a man who looked like a taller, male Levy. "Was he the one who hurt you?" I walked over to Levy and Lucy.

They both jumped as Levy looked at me. "He shot at Lucy and I-I took the hit for her" Levy whispered as I started to even more mad. I looked toward the man as Natsu smirked he then looked at me. "YOU EVEN ARE DATING A DRAGON SLAYER?" he screaming glaring at the two scared girls behind me. He was really making my blood boil. "Your gonna wish you was dead" I muttered as a black shadows started to bounce off me. Natsu just smirked more, his body setting on fire. The man put his hand in his pocket, pulling out a small box.

"Gajeel, Natsu stand down" Lucy and Levy both then screamed worried and scared. I was confused. Natsu looked confused as we just looked at them. "You placed TnT?" Levy then screamed upset at the man. "Sooner or later I was blowing this town" the man smirked. "You monster" Levy whispered as Lucy looked at her worried. Who was this guy? Why was Levy so scared to even speak to him? "One move from any of your dragons and Im blowing the whole town, including where we are standing" the man then laughed again.

I could tell he wasn't joking. He had the same blood-lust look in his eyes, I once had. If it wasn't for Laxus and the group of dragon slayers I would of ended up like him. "Levy" I heard Lucy whisper worried as I looked at her. She was barely standing as she was taking deep breaths. "What is it that you really want?" Levy asked as the moon light hit her bruised face. The man smirked at Levy, making me want to punch him. "You to come with me to our home, daughter" he answered shocking me. T-this was Levy's father?

A mage hunter? "YOU LOST THE RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT" Levy screamed her eyes watering as I could tell she was thinking about going with him. I stepped right in front of her. "Gajeel?" I heard her whisper confused and shocked. "Your not having my Shrimp" I snapped as lightening hit the box in the mans hand, destroying it. The mans eyes widen as Laxus and Mira showed up. "Monsters killed" Mira yawned bored and then I heard her footsteps head toward the Shrimp behind me. She must of saw how hurt she was. "So do we kill this guy or?" Natsu then asked.

"We will finish this another time Levy" the man threw something at the ground making smoke what smelled like ash go everywhere. I couldn't smell him anymore, as the smoke cleared he was gone. I turned around seeing Levy was on the ground in Mira's arms passed out. "Natsu and I will get the payment, you take Levy to a inn" Lucy got up as Natsu showed up at her side. Laxus only nodded to the plan as I walked over, carefully picking up Levy in Bridal Style. I knew it was too quiet after calling her 'Shrimp'. She normally shouted at me upset about it. 

Mira, Laxus and I headed into town. Soon as we got there we had many people come up to us, saving thanks and asking if Levy was ok. I didn't let anyone touch her...

Meanwhile, Lucy's Pov, 

I was shaking a little as Natsu and I  were walking toward my fathers office. Natsu grabbed my hand as we got outside making me looking at me with a small smile. "It's going to be fine Lucy" Natsu gave me his toothy grin as Maid Spetto knocked at the door. We heard my fathers voice as Maid Spetto opened the doors. Natsu and I walked in and over to his desk on the other side of the room. "Where are the others?" father asked looking at me.

"Levy's father happened" I answered as he understood right away. He clicked his fingers as Maid Spetto pushed a trolling with 6 bags on it. "A million jewels in each bag" father had no emotion. Like normal. Natsu and I walked over grabbing 3 bags each. It was pretty heavy but I manged. "We will be taking our leave" I spoke as Natsu and I headed out the office. I knew my father wouldn't start something in front of a stranger. He liked to keep good looks. Natsu and I walked to the only inn in town to see Mira was waiting outside.

"Here let me help Lucy" Mira smiled taking one of the bags. "One is yours Mira" I smiled back as Mira just giggled a little. "What?" Natsu asked. "You should of saw Gajeel, he is treating Levy like a precious gem stone" Mira answered as I giggled at the idea. We soon headed off to the room, Laxus, Gajeel and Levy were in. I put one bag on Levy's side as Natsu gave Gajeel and Laxus a bag each. "Soon as Levy can move we will leave" Laxus made us all nod. I looked at my best friend a little worried. I was just hoping she was alright....
