Levy's Pov, 

Jude Heartfillia was just the same as before. Rude and only cared for his money. I look at Jude upset. Jude was a relatively tall middle-aged man with black eyes and slicked back blond hair and a matching, extremely trim moustache, and a rather firm, square jaw. The man's hair was kept extremely neat and trim, and he had a penchant for wearing rather expensive tailored suits. "We will deal with them and then come back for the money" I then spoke out as Jude just looked at me. I could tell he was planning something.

"Levy, the same stubborn girl you was when you was a child, your father has been looking for you" Jude spat with no emotion. I felt my hands start to shake with the idea that my own father was looking around for me. I just shook my head trying to calm down my hands. "Good luck with the monsters" Jude then muttered upset as we started to leave the room. I saw Lucy look back a little before Natsu dragged her the rest of the way. To her this must of been hard, to once have him as a loving father but sadly now had that heartless monster.

"We should split up, there are 2 lakes, Mira, me and Gajeel will go to one lake. Lucy, Natsu and Levy you go to the other" Laxus ordered as we nodded. Gajeel and I was about to say something until we was dragged off. I was hoping to be the one the same team as Gajeel but looked like the others had another idea. "W-what if we run into my father?" I asked my hands still shaking as Lucy walked over grabbing them. They soon started to calm down as Lucy gave me a sad smile. "We won't leave your side" Natsu answered.

I smiled at them both as we headed toward the lake. I knew my own father. He would of hated the idea that Jude hired us, he was most likely tracking down the monsters himself. He was a known hunter after all. Made me sick knowing I came from a family that hunted animals and people who used magic. Once we reached the lake we started to make a small camp. "We will be here until night so might as well get ready" Lucy mumbled making Natsu nod. I sat on the ground thinking of why my father would be looking for me.

It made no sense. He hated me and I hated him. We never wanted to see each other. "Wait" Natsu sniffed the air looking around his fist catching on fire. Lucy walked over to me looking around worried as I got ready to use my magic. "Natsu what is it?" Lucy and I asked at the same time as he glared at the trees near him. Natsu looked like he was about to burn the trees down until someone walked out of the shadows. My eyes widen as I saw my own father sighing, cleaning his sniper. "If I knew my own blood was a dirty mage" he muttered.

My father had dark blue hair and hazel eyes. He was a quiet tall and was good with a gun and sword. I felt my body shake. "You have no right to call her your blood" Lucy snapped at my father making him 'tisk'. Natsu stood in his way toward us as he just glared at Natsu. "A Dragon Slayer" my father smirked staring at Natsu. Even if magic was agreed now, people who pay a lot of money for a mage's head. "Natsu be careful" I nearly shouted knowing my father could just attack him for no reason. I was worried he wanted to kill us.

"Then again even Jude has a disgrace of a daughter" father then muttered as I saw Natsu's face turn. He looked really pissed off hearing that. "NATSU DON'T" Lucy soon shouted about to rush over to him. The air around us got hotter. Natsu didn't know what he was getting himself into. My father fought mages nearly his whole life. "Might wanna listen to Lady Heartfillia" my father laughed making Lucy glare at him. She hated to be called that, she hated all the rules she would have to follow if she agreed with that life.

"Screw you father, just leave us alone to do our job" I then nearly shouted making Lucy and my father shocked. I was normally the scared little girl hiding behind her father when she was bullied. Now, after meeting Gajeel, Lucy and being in the council... I felt like I could be myself and take care of myself without being scared anymore. "Young lady don't you dare have that tone with me" father soon snapped stepped forward making me start to shake a little. I might be standing my ground but I was scared. Scared to go back with him.

Scared to never see Gajeel or the others again. "Come any closer and I will burn you to ash" Natsu snapped as Lucy put her hands on her keys. "Natsu we can't fight him here" Lucy mumbled as Natsu just glared at my father. I couldn't let my father get in the way of our mission. I stood up glaring at him. "This is my fight Natsu" I walked over, standing next to Natsu making him smirk at me. He trusted me to deal with my father. "Be careful Levy, Gajeel will kill us if your hurt" Lucy nearly shouted to me. I smiled at the thought Gajeel cared.

I also knew if I needed help Natsu and Lucy could jump in or I could press the mark on my neck. "Finally standing up for yourself child?" Father asked loading his gun. "We have a job to do father, get out of our way or Im making you" I snapped still scared out of my mind. "Levy" I heard Lucy whisper worried. She was always worried for me. Like I was for her. "Don't worry Lucee, she has us for backup" Natsu sounded like he was about to play a game. He thought this was going to be fun. I saw what gun my father was using.
