"Levy you'll tell me or I'll-"

"Or you'll what?"

Gajeel's POV

It was finally day three of the competition but I couldn't get the shrimp outta my head. The way she looked at me, her eyes a stormy blue. On day one I didn't believe her, I mean the shrimp a dragon slayer? Sure she's strong, but how could she hide from everyone she was one of us? I couldn't believe it but seeing her scales yesterday. It was so unreal that I let go of her arm, I just forgot what I wanted her to tell me, what I needed her to tell me. I still can't believe it. 

"Yo, metal head it's time, their about to announce the first match." I looked over to the salamander and shrugged turning around to look into the arena. 'This is gonna be a long week.'

Narrator's POV

A/N: Real quick guys I thought about it and I've changed a couple of the ships between the exceeds so Yukino and Kagura's exceeds Nova and Blade will be together and Lector and Frosch will be together. Also thank you guys soo much for the 5.7K + views!!

Today is the third day of the boys versus girls competition between Mirajane, Laxus, Lucy, Natsu, Gajeel, and Levy of Fairy Tail, Kagura of Mermaid Heel, Rogue, Yukino, and Sting of Sabortooth. For this day of the competition there will be four matches, three of them shall be one on one and the last one will be a two on two battle. The matches are mostly random in the terms of who's against who and is definitely random in the case of which order the fights are in. Now then why don't we go see who's up first? 

"Hello everyone! Today is day three which means we are halfway through this competition!" the audience cheered at Ruby's announcement as her and her dragon mate, Jake stood beside each other in the center of the stadium. 

"Today we are finally getting into some actual battles between the contestants since Levy, Yukino, Sting and Gajeel managed to go through the maze without fighting each other." said stone dragon spoke up as the two took turns announcing what was going to happen, "Since there are five people on each team there will be at least one two on two battle."

"Now then let's get started shall we!!?" Ruby tossed her arms up into the air just as excited at their audience, "Let's see who shall start us off!" the two dragons turned to face the holographic screen above them as they anxiously waited to see how the first match of the day shall turn out. 

"And first we have Gajeel Redfox Versus.. Levy McGarden!!" as Jake cheered said iron dragon froze remembering what happened the previous night. Looking up to gaze at said water dragon his crimson orbs met the blue ones that haunted him from the day before warning him that she was still angered from their conversation. Jake and Ruby left the center returning to their separate balconies as Levy and Gajeel replaced them.

"Hey, girls do you think Levy's okay? she seemed a little off." Ruby was confused as to her friends magical aura as she noticed that there was something different about it as the two had walked past each other. Before the other girls could answer though Minerva being the most excitable out of the judges announced the start of the match. 

"Water Dragon Crushing Wave." The second the match began Levy McGarden did not hesitate in casting a spell, an azure colored magic circle appearing before her as a wave burst from its center sending Gajeel back a few feet but not enough to send him to the ground but it was enough of a distraction to cast a second spell without anyone noticing, "Water Dragon Coral Clone." It was hushed almost inaudible even to herself. 

"Shrimp I didn't wanna do this but if that's how ya gonna play so be it, Iron Dragon Club," he turned his arm into the iron club he typically uses and sent it straight towards the small script mage but he realized to late that she wasn't going to dodge and shattered her coral clone to pieces. Frozen by the sight he just witnessed his mind became clouded by the day when the two first met while he was still a Phantom, too distracted even to dodge the attack that appeared from behind. 

"Solid Script: Lightning!!"

"Wha-?!" turning to the sound he was flown backwards once again groaning as the electricity flows through his body. "Clever shrimp, gihehe." he laughed before sending an iron pillar her way this time she actually ducked knowing that another clone would be risky now that he's seen it. The two continued to counter each others attack, however while the audience might not have noticed it Black Steel Gajeel was actually taking it easy not wanting to hurt his shrimp and also wanting to see her true strength as a fellow mage. But there was one who noticed this and that was the water dragon of Fairy Tail. 

"Quit going easy on me Black Steel," said dragon growled loud enough for him to hear, "Solid Script: Icicles! Water Lock!!" in the stands a certain rainwoman felt proud finally seeing Levy successfully cast one of her spells. However, this only worried her friends that were waiting for her return in their team balcony. 

"There is definitely something wrong," Mirajane concurred with Ruby's previous statement her eyes looking down on the fight in saddness, "her magic aura is full of anger."  

"I also noticed that her eyes were blue this entire time," Kagura pointed out, "this is honestly the first time I've seen them last for this long, her eyes should have reverted back to their normal shade by now." 

"Lucy you went on a walk with her did you notice anything?" Yukino questions as the fight continued on, they could hear Gajeel finally use his Iron Dragon Roar on his mate, though they have yet to admit that. 

"Now that you mention it, yesterday we stopped at this park so that she could rest since she was dehydrated," Lucy responded looking up towards the hidden stars to try and jog her memory, "I left her there to refill the water bottles we bought but when I came back she was already leaving the park I think her eyes were actually blue at that time as well." Gajeels roar had sent Levy flying and both were running low on magic. 

"Did you notice anything else Lucy?" Mira inquired all worried for the small bluenette. While the girls were conversing and Gajeel was trying to catch his breath said bluenette ate some of the shards of ice that were left from some of her previous attacks as she prepared one last spell before her energy was completely spent. 

"Actually there was something else there was a strange scent of metal I figured it was from the bench we sat on." Standing on her feet the air gained a chill silencing all save her teammates hushed conversation. "It smelt like iron but it was extremely strong..."

"Oh no." they all turned as Levy's skin became a cerulean blue from her scales, ice climbing her forearms and ankles, even spiking through her blue hair like horns and adorning themselves around her eyes like jewels. This form was that of the Water Ice Dragon and it sent fear through the girls as they knew that while this form is powerful it was one Levy had yet to control and would injure her severely. 

"Crocus Lagoon: Blizzard Cyclone" five large arctic blue circles appeared around the center of the arena surrounding Gajeel as harsh gusts of wind circled around him water and hail slashing against him before lifting him up only to throw him back down creating a crater in the ground. The girls knew this spell for it was a Secret Art Oceana warned Levy not to use but it was too late now because when the storm had cleared so had Levy's Water Ice Dragon Mode. As Gajeel gained his footing he looked at the girl he cared for, her eyes their normal shade of brown as they drooped to a close before her body gave out and she crashed to the ground. 

"Gajeel is the only one standing! Making him the winner of this match!" Minerva cried out but Gajeel barely even heard as his eyes focused on Levy McGarden three words escaping his lips before he too fell unconscious.

"You win Shrimp..."
