"Ever since I was young I have always been and always will be, the water dragon slayer."

Wendy's POV

Once Levy said that the whole place lit up with voices everyone who knows her or has heard of her yelled a bunch of "What!?" and "No way!!". Then there was us, Fairy Tail. *sigh* most people fainted from the shock others just stood there frozen with their jaws dropped. All except for Carla, Erza-san, and Juvia-san. They at least looked impressed that she could hide it and that she could control water like that. I think Juvia might just challenge her after this. I however had always wondered if she was.

After I had joined Fairy Tail and gotten to know her I started sensing something dragon-like about her. Whenever we'd be near water of any kind she was usually the closest to it, well her and Juvia at least. Then I noticed she'd ask for water from Mira and whoever else was working at the bar, but it wasn't too suspiciously noticeable. I'm honestly surprised none of the other dragon slayers noticed, especially Gajeel, I mean he did start hanging around her a bit more often after awhile so who knows maybe this will get them together. Especially since every dragon slayer has a mate just like a dragon would. I really hope they're mates they'd be really cute together. Hmm, I wonder who mine is? But then again I'm too young for that.

Sting's POV

"WHAT!!!???!?" all of us male dragon slayers yelled. That metalhead, Gajeel louder than the rest of us. Everyone from what I could tell was just as surprised as us.

"Will you all be quiet!?" The scary old woman, Porlyusica ground out loudly at everyone, "Let's get on with this already.... Stupid humans"

Minerva nodded and told us about the maze, "The first mission is simple. Two members from each team will start at opposite ends of the maze. No one is allowed to go through, under or over the walls otherwise you will  lose points for your team. Once you get to the middle of the maze you will find a broken fountain and you have to fix it and get water running through it again. However, there's a slight twist, the walls that make up this maze do not stay still they will move every so often and create new passageways and even close off your doorway to the center. If you meet a member of the other team you must fight your way past them, if there's three of you only two will fight and the third person will go on ahead but if all four of you meet you all have to fight. Now pick two of your teammates and let the challenge begin!"

"I'll go." I  volunteered before anyone else could.

"Yukino and shrimp are goin' for the girls so I'll join ya." Gajeel gruffed as he stared at his "Shrimp" as he calls her.

"Fine. Let the games begin."

Narrator's POV

"Now for the Girls we have Levy McGarden, and Yukino Aguria! And for the Boys we have Sting Eucliffe and Gajeel Redfox!" Gildarts exclaimed as everyone had somewhat quieted after Levy's little announcement.

As the two teams stood at their end of the maze Gajeel couldn't quite understand how someone as small as her managed to hide something as big as that from not only him but the other dragon slayers. Breaking himself out of those thoughts a bell sounded and both teams darted inside the maze, Levy and Yukino split up immediately while the two boys stuck together seeing as going left was just an immediate dead end. As time went on Sting and Gajeel had finally split up and our lovely ship known as Gale or Gajevy both came to the same dead end, standing on the opposite side of the hedge wall in front of them just as they both turned around to go down another path Gajeel caught her familiar scent and realized she wasn't lying about what she said. 

On the opposite side of the maze Yukino almost bumped into Sting but the hedge blocked his path before they could meet eye to eye giving Yuki a straight path to the center of the maze. Just as she was about to reach the center it blocked her path and she had to find another way in. Right as that was happening Gajeel and Sting ran into each other, literally.

"Hey! Watch it Metalhead!" 

"Shut up! We have to hurry or we'll lose!" 

"You really think I don't know that!!?" Finishing their argument they split up again. Meanwhile Levy and Yuki made it to the center and were trying to figure out how to fix it. Sensing for where the water would come from Yuki kept an eye out for the boys when Levy spoke up.

"I found it. Yuki I need you to pull out all of the plugs in the fountain while I turn the water on."

"You got it, but be careful the boys will be here soon!" Levy nodded as she exited the fountain area turning right as the walls closed off the center and the left passage cutting the boys off from getting to Levy and Yukino. "Levy it's done! Turn the water on!"

Levy ran as she came across the rusted metal pipe that would turn on the water. Right as her small hands gripped onto the cold metal Gajeel came around the corner.
