Laxus POV

"What is this?" I asked slightly annoyed, first I get an exceed - which I don't really mind - now something about a competition between us and the girls.

"Exactly what it looks like Laxus. The girls are challenging the five of you and have chosen the place, time and challenges that will be taking place." Ruby stated.

"Why should we agree?" Sting asked leaning back in his seat his arms crossed.

"Well for one I've already handed out all but four of these flyers and two the girls really want you to agree." She replied pointing at the paper she put in front of us.

"How much time will we have before it starts?" Rogue asked.

"You have four months starting tomorrow."

"Four months!?!?" Natsu and Sting blurted out.

"Oh what's the matter boys scared we'll win?" another voice said out of nowhere, as Ruby put a lacrima phone on the table I realized it was on speaker.

"Don't start being cocky shrimp" Gajeel spoke up.

"I can be as cocky as I want Redfox."

"That may be true but let's not get ahead of ourselves." another voice spoke up from the phone.

"Kagura?" Rogue whispered.

"Well, at least not yet." another chuckled. I knew that was Mira but I wasn't going to say anything.

"So boys what do you say? You going to accept our challenge?"

"Yukino!? You're in on this too!?!" Sting yelled standing up. Geez, now my head hurts do these idiots even know how to be quiet?

"Of course she is, she helped plan out most of the challenges."

"Luce!?"

"Hey Natsu!"

"H-hey guy's so how is it going? None of you are hurt are you!?" Wendy finally spoke up from her place beside Ruby. 

"We're fine Wendy don't worry." Lucy reassured the kid. 

"So then what are you boys going to do?" Ruby smirked.

"Fine, we accept." Gajeel gruffed.

"Good, I'll be the girls representative and Jake can be yours." Ruby smiled as she walked away the kid close behind.

Jake's POV

We all watched as Ruby hung up the lacrima phone with a quick goodbye to the girls before she got up on the stage to make an announcement. "Hey guys so I have a surprise for you!! So the girls have challenged five dragon slayers in a special Boys VS Girls competition! And the boys have agreed!! And so they have exactly four months starting tomorrow to train."

"Where is it going to be at Ruby?" Master Makarov asked as he got on stage next to her.

"It is going to be held at the Domus Flau in Crocus and we've already been given permission! The competition will be a total of five days. Day One is the Introductions of each competitor along with a special maze. Day Two they'll have to defeat a certain amount of monsters and the faster you defeat them the better chance you have of winning. Day Three will be when you finally get to fight one-on-one but there will be at least one two-on-two battle. Now here's where it gets interesting. For Day Four and Five you'll have to...." Ruby informed. As she said what day four and five were going to be I couldn't help but worry for the boys knowing that the girls are most likely going to be winning the last two days of their competition.

Lucy : Mae-chan evil doesn't suit you.

Levy : Nope not one bit.
